Claims

1. An appliance (1) for preparing food, comprising: an oven (2) comprising a chamber (3) and a door (4) connected to the front surface (3A) of the chamber (3), wherein the door (4) is configured to selectively provide access to the interior of the chamber (3) of the oven (2); a hob (6) comprising at least one heating element (7), wherein the hob (6) defines an upper surface (1A) of the cooking appliance (1); at least one inlet opening (8) provided in said upper surface (1A) of the hob (6); at least one outlet (9); a downdraft hood (10) comprising at least one suction unit (11) configured to suck in cooking vapors through said at least one inlet (8) and discharge them through said outlet (9); a channel system (12) comprising a channel (12a, 12b) for cooking vapors for moving the sucked vapors between the inlet (8) and the outlet (9); a filter (13) for filtering the suction vapors from cooking, said filter (13) is located in said channel (12a, 12b) for vapors from cooking, said filter (13) is located upstream from said suction unit (11), characterized in that it comprises a temperature probe (60) located in a chamber (160, 170) connected to a channel (12a, 12b) for sucking in steam from cooking, and access to the temperature probe (60) is possible when said door (4) provides access to the chamber (3) of the oven (2).

The device (1) for preparing food according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a separating element (171) mechanically connected to the front surface of the oven (2), wherein the separating element (171) can move between a closed position in which it prevents access to the chamber (160, 170), and an open position in which it provides access to the chamber (160, 170), wherein the temperature probe (60) is accessible when said separating element (171) is in the open position.

3. The device (1) for preparing food according to claim 2, characterized in that the dividing element (171) in the closed position has a first surface (171a) visible to the user, and a second surface (171b) opposite the first surface (171a), hidden from the user’s view.

4. The device (1) for preparing dishes according to paragraph 3, characterized in that it contains a compartment (61) intended for placing a temperature probe (60) when the latter is not in use, wherein the compartment (61) is made on the second surface (171b) of the dividing element (171).

The device (1) for preparing dishes according to claim 1, characterized in that it contains a control interface (172) configured to control the functions of the device, said temperature probe (60) is in communication with said control interface (172) for transmitting data related to the temperature of the dish.

6. A device (1) for preparing food according to paragraph 5, characterized in that said communication is carried out via a wireless connection.

7. A device (1) for preparing food according to paragraph 5, characterized in that said signal is transmitted via a wired connection.

The device (1) according to clause 7, characterized in that: the temperature probe (60) comprises a sensing element (60a) configured to receive a signal related to the internal temperature of the food being cooked in the oven (2) and a cable (60b) configured to transmit a signal from the sensing element (60a) to the control interface (172), the oven (2) comprises an inlet opening configured to receive a portion of the cable (60b) when the sensing element (60a) is located in the chamber (3) of the oven (2) and the door (4) is closed.

9. The device (1) for preparing dishes according to paragraph 1, characterized in that the temperature probe (60) determines at several control points on its surface the temperature values ​​reached by the dish being prepared.

10. The device (1) for preparing dishes according to paragraph 9, characterized in that the said control points are distributed along the main direction of the length of the temperature probe (60).
