Claims

A test system for the species identification of parasitic nematodes, comprising a buffer for carrying out the polymerase chain reaction, a mixture for carrying it out consisting of deoxynucleoside triphosphates, characterized in that it includes a pair of synthetic oligonucleotide primers, each of which is complementary to a region of the mitochondrial gene COI of six orders of parasitic nematodes (Rhabditida, Ascaridida, Spirurida, Rhigonematida, Oxyurida and Mermithida): a forward primer MET_COI_F, having a nucleotide sequence in the form GGWSMAMMAAATCATAAAGATATTGG, and a reverse primer METCOIR, having a nucleotide sequence in the form GTAATAGCMMCHGCYAAHACMG, upon amplification yielding a sequence 580 nucleotide pairs long.
