COMPUTING DEVICE (VARIANTS) AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING CHINESE HIEROGLYPHS

Claims

1. A computing device for displaying Chinese characters, comprising a display module capable of displaying a set of Chinese characters, a module for interacting with the user and a computing module connected to the module for interacting with the user and to the display module with the ability to exchange data with them, characterized in that the user interaction module is designed to allow the user to input a tone for each of the indicated displayed Chinese characters, and the computing module is configured to receive data on tones entered by the user from the module for interacting with the user and is configured to assign an error score to each Chinese character with the tone entered by the user if the received tone corresponding to the said Chinese character with the tone entered by the user does not match the specified tone corresponding to the said Chinese character with the tone entered by the user, wherein the computing module is additionally configured to provide the ability to repeatedly display on the display module Chinese characters from the specified set of Chinese characters, for each of which the aggregate error estimate for the specified set of Chinese characters exceeds a specified threshold value.

2. The computing device according to claim 1, further comprising a communication module configured to download or receive text from the specified set of Chinese characters.

The computing device according to paragraph 2, in which the computing module is additionally configured to be connected to a communication module for receiving said text from it and to be capable of recognizing said received text, ensuring that each Chinese character from said set of Chinese characters is brought into correspondence with one of the specified tones.

A computing device for displaying Chinese characters, comprising a touch display module capable of displaying a set of Chinese characters, and a computing module connected to a touch display module with the ability to exchange data with it, characterized in that the touch display module is further configured to allow the user to input a tone for each of the indicated displayed Chinese characters, and the computing module is further configured to receive data on the tones entered by the user from the touch display module and is configured to assign an error score to each Chinese character with the tone entered by the user if the received tone corresponding to the said Chinese character with the tone entered by the user does not match the specified tone corresponding to the said Chinese character with the tone entered by the user, wherein the computing module is additionally configured to provide the ability to repeatedly display on the touch display module Chinese characters from the specified set of Chinese characters, for each of which the aggregate error estimate for the specified set of Chinese characters exceeds a specified threshold value.

5. The computing device according to claim 4, further comprising a communication module configured to download or receive text from the specified set of Chinese characters.

The computing device according to paragraph 5, in which the computing module is additionally configured to be connected to a communication module for receiving said text from it and to be capable of recognizing said received text, ensuring that each Chinese character from said set of Chinese characters is brought into correspondence with one of the specified tones.

A method for displaying Chinese characters, performed on a computing device with a display module and a computing module, wherein the computing module performs the operations of the method according to which provide the ability to display a set of Chinese characters on the display module, characterized in that, according to the specified method, additionally provide user interaction for user input of a tone for each of the indicated displayed Chinese characters, receive user-entered tones for the specified displayed Chinese characters, assigning an error score to each Chinese character with the user-inputted tone if the received tone corresponding to the specified Chinese character with the user-inputted tone does not match the target tone corresponding to the specified Chinese character with the user-inputted tone, repeatedly displaying on the display module Chinese characters from the specified set of Chinese characters, for each of which the combined error estimate for the specified set of Chinese characters exceeds a specified threshold value.

8. The method according to paragraph 7, according to which, before carrying out the display operation, the text from the specified set of Chinese characters is first loaded or received by means of a computing device.

9. The method according to paragraph 8, according to which the said received text is additionally recognized by means of a computing device, ensuring that each Chinese character from the said set of Chinese characters is brought into conformity with one of the specified tones.
