Claims

1. A method for forming elastic-dissipative properties of gear transmissions, in which a laser beam located normal to the working surface is moved along the generatrix of the tooth, while a transverse feed is carried out at an adjustable speed of the gear relative to the laser beam, characterized in that the tuning out of resonant modes, as well as the formation of specified elastic-dissipative properties of gear engagements, are carried out by laser structuring of the near-surface layer at the stage of laser hardening using one combined operation of laser hardening - high-temperature high-speed laser tempering.

2. The method according to paragraph 1, characterized in that the determination of the laser tempering parameters is carried out using a computer model of the transmission, taking into account all the acting forces.
