Abstract

A radar system for protecting important water areas from marine drones, based on the use of multi-beam radars, characterized by the fact that the multi-beam radar uses a MIMO system - Multiple Input-Multiple Output, which is divided into four main parts: a master channel, a receiving channel, an antenna array, a control and processing channel, which contain the following units and blocks: the microcontroller is connected by the first trunk bus to the control inputs of a tunable bandpass filter, a digital frequency synthesizer and through a carrier frequency generator to the second input of the third mixer, the first input of which is connected to the output of the frequency synthesizer, and the frequency mixer is connected through the signal input of the tunable third bandpass filter and through a power divider by the second inputs of the first and second mixers of the receiving path 5 with the signal inputs of the third and fourth microwave keys, the outputs of the first and second microwave switches are connected to the first inputs of the first and second mixers, respectively; the MC is connected via a main bus to the control inputs of all four microwave switches; the output of the first mixer is connected via the first bandpass filter, AGC and the first ADC to the first signal input of the MC, and the output of the second mixer is connected via the second bandpass filter and the second AGC and the second ADC to the second signal input of the MC; the output of the MC is connected via a second main bus to the control inputs of the first and second AGC, and the clock frequency, start and data readout inputs are connected to both ADCs; the MG is connected to the first PO by a bidirectional bus, and is connected via a unidirectional bus via a USB interface to a PC, the output of which is connected via a bidirectional bus to the second signal processing PO. To obtain a high range resolution, which is defined as Δх=R⋅λ / d, where R is the range to the target, λ is the wavelength, d is the antenna diameter, therefore,The MIMO antenna system is implemented on two spaced antenna transmitting and receiving arrays located in the same plane at a minimum distance from each other of about 10-20 cm.
