Claims
1. A method for producing a cat litter with a urine pH indicator, comprising preparing a pH indicator solution based on bromothymol blue, preparing an indicator composition containing, as a base, a ground hydrophilic polymer compound impregnated with a pH indicator solution based on bromothymol blue, mixing the resulting indicator composition with a cat litter base, which is a ground hydrophilic polymer compound having a particle size of at least 5 mm, characterized in that the pH indicator solution is prepared by dissolving bromothymol blue in distilled water in a ratio of 0.4 g per 40 ml of water, heating the solution to boiling and adding 6.4 ml of a decinormal sodium hydroxide solution, a fraction of silica gel crumbs of at least 5 mm in size is used as the base of the indicator composition, a fraction of silica gel crumbs of at least less than 5 mm,The indicator composition is prepared in a ratio of 90-98 parts by weight of silica gel crumbs no less than 5 mm in size, 2-10 parts by weight of indicator solution, the filler base and the indicator composition are mixed in a ratio of 90-98 parts by weight of base, 2-10 parts by weight of indicator composition, the resulting cat litter is activated at a temperature in the range of 160-180 degrees Celsius for 2-3 hours.
2. A method for producing cat litter with a urine pH indicator according to paragraph 1, characterized in that a silica gel crumb fraction with a size in the range of 5 mm to 8 mm is used as the basis of the indicator composition.
3. A method for producing cat litter with a urine pH indicator according to paragraph 1, characterized in that a silica gel crumb fraction with a size in the range from 5 mm to 8 mm is used as the base of the filler.
