Abstract
A mobile automated riveting unit, containing a hydraulic cylinder mounted on a power clamp, which sets in motion a dynamic punch-contact, exerts an impact on the riveted workpiece and, by pressing it against a static punch-contact, forms a closed electrical circuit using electric current supplies, produces electric contact heating, and takes a temperature reading using a thermocouple and transmits the value to the control module.
