Claims

1. A method for manufacturing a composite profile, including the following steps: a) pull the bundle of binder-impregnated roving in the longitudinal direction, b) a spiral winding of bundles of roving impregnated with a binder is applied to the pulled bundle, c) longitudinal bundles of binder-impregnated roving are applied to the applied spiral winding, d) a spiral winding of bundles of binder-impregnated roving is applied to the applied longitudinal bundles, e) repeat steps c and d until a profile prepreg with the required profile cross-sectional area is obtained; f) the resulting profile prepreg is cured.

2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the bundle in step a. is formed from one longitudinal bundle of roving.

3. The method according to claim 1, in which the bundle in step a. is formed from a plurality of bundles of roving.

4. The method according to claim 1, wherein in step c. the bundles of binder-impregnated roving are applied to the prepreg profile in a substantially uniform distribution along its perimeter.

5. A production line for manufacturing a composite profile using the method according to paragraph 1, comprising a primary strand drawing unit, alternating spiral winding units and longitudinal roving feed units, and a single curing unit, arranged sequentially in the working direction.

6. The line according to claim 5, in which the longitudinal roving feed unit is designed with the possibility of applying roving bundles impregnated with a binder in a substantially uniform distribution along the perimeter of the prepreg profile.

7. A composite profile manufactured by the method according to paragraph 1, containing layers of spirally wound roving and layers of longitudinally oriented roving, wherein said layers alternate with each other in the direction of the thickness of the profile.

8. The profile according to claim 7, wherein the bundles in the layer of spirally oriented roving are substantially uniformly distributed along the perimeter of the cross-section of the profile.
