Claims

A microwave method for remotely detonating an artillery projectile at a given distance, which includes inputting the detonation distance into the detonation control system and autonomously measuring the initial angular and linear velocities of the projectile, calculating the flight time of the projectile taking into account the equations of its motion along a ballistic trajectory, characterized in that binary phase modulation of a microwave electromagnetic wave is carried out, the phases of which set a code combination about the detonation distance, a microwave electromagnetic wave directed at the projectile is polarized by a microwave linear polarizer, the microwave electromagnetic wave received by the projectile is modulated by a microwave polarization plane analyzer and the rotational motion of the projectile, the microwave energy is converted into an electrical signal, from which high-frequency and low-frequency components are isolated, the detonation distance code is determined by the phases of the high-frequency component, and the initial, angular, linear, and ground velocities of the projectile are determined by the frequencies of the low-frequency component.
