Claims
1. A method for determining the slopes of a water surface, in which a laser beam is directed at the water surface from top to bottom, and the scattered laser radiation is recorded using a camera located to the side of the point of incidence of the beam on the surface, characterized in that the spatial distribution of the intensity of the scattered laser radiation below the point of incidence of the beam in the water is recorded and the probability density of the distribution of the surface slopes is determined from it.
2. The method according to paragraph 1, characterized in that an interference filter and a polarizer are used when recording scattered radiation.
