Abstract

A method for repositioning comminuted fractures of the proximal humerus, which consists of inserting parallel pins with a diameter of 2.5 mm into the head of the humerus perpendicular to the axis of the head to the subchondral layer at a distance of 1.5 cm from each other, then performing a reposition of the fragments by eliminating the rotational and varus displacement of the humeral head, after which a guide pin is inserted through the humeral head along the axis of the medullary canal, a channel is formed for the intramedullary pin, the pin is inserted, the pins are removed, proximal and then distal blocking of the pin is performed through punctures in the skin.
