Claims

A method for treating superficial and micronodular forms of basal cell carcinoma of the facial skin using cryodestruction, including preoperative ultrasound examination to determine the linear dimensions and depth of tumor growth, characterized in that before treatment, the skin surface in the affected area is anesthetized and, depending on the depth of tumor growth, cryodestruction is performed in the following modes: - up to 1 mm - 2 freeze-thaw cycles are performed at a peak temperature of minus 100-110 degrees Celsius on the tumor surface, exposure 60-70 seconds, with an interval between cycles of 3 minutes; - from 1 to 2 mm - 2 freeze-thaw cycles are performed at a peak temperature of minus 120-125 degrees Celsius on the tumor surface, exposure 75-80 seconds, with an interval between cycles of 4 minutes; - from 2 mm to 3 mm - 3 freeze-thaw cycles are performed at a peak temperature of minus 125-130 degrees Celsius on the tumor surface, exposure 85-90 seconds, with an interval between cycles of 5 minutes.
