Description

[0001] FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY

[0002] The utility model relates to the field of external protection of vehicles and is intended for temporary local protection of the vehicle body from mechanical damage arising from contact with foreign objects during parking, maneuvering or standing, in particular from scratches from tree branches and bushes, chips from stones.

[0003] STATE OF THE ART

[0004] A protective device for a vehicle RU 69807 U1 IPC B60J 11 / 00 (priority 10.10.2007) is known from the prior art, comprising a sewn shaped volumetric web, on the inner side of which longitudinally oriented inflatable elements with a convex section are placed, forming a single sealed pneumatic system with valves for connecting to an air pumping device, characterized in that it is made twisting in the longitudinal direction, with a middle part for placement along the roof and folding side parts for placement along the sides of the vehicle, and the inflatable elements are placed over the entire surface of the web without gaps between them, with the possibility of joint rotation with the web along the lines of mating of the middle part with the side parts, wherein on the edges of the web, on at least two sides, elements for fastening to protruding parts of the vehicle are installed, which in one of the embodiments are adhesive surfaces. The device's features, which coincide with the essential features of the claimed utility model, are a shaped volumetric fabric, a valve for connecting to a device for pumping air into an inflatable structure, and adhesive surfaces as fastening elements.

[0005] The disadvantage of the known solution is the insufficient protection of the car body from damage, due to the impossibility of using the protective device while the car is moving.

[0006] A device known from the prior art is GB 2457728 A IPC B60R 13 / 04 (priority 23.02.2008), selected as a prototype. The protection of the sides of a vehicle is an inflatable body made of an airtight flexible material (preferably nylon, plastic, rubber or a combination thereof), having a valve for inflating with air (a check valve or a valve for connecting a pump) and a plug for releasing air, while the device can be made in the form of one or more sections placed along the side surface of the vehicle, preferably tubular in shape, with the ability to change the volume along the length to enhance protection in the most vulnerable areas, and the attachment of the device to the body is carried out mainly with the help of magnets placed inside the body of the device, or using suction cups, cords or other fastening means. The device's features, which coincide with the essential features of the claimed utility model, are an inflatable body made of an airtight flexible material, a valve for inflation with air, the presence of a mount to the vehicle body, and local installation of the device, including through several sections.

[0007] A disadvantage of the known solution is its visibility, due to the material it's made of and the type of mounting. An additional disadvantage of the known solution is the limited installation location due to the type of mounting and the shape required to protect the vehicle's sides.

[0008] DISCLOSURE OF THE ESSENCE OF THE UTILITY MODEL

[0009] The technical problem that the claimed utility model is aimed at solving is the creation of a low-visibility local inflatable protective device for the body of a vehicle with the ability to be attached to any part of the body of the vehicle, including non-metallic and curved surfaces and combinations thereof.

[0010] The technical result, which the claimed technical solution is aimed at achieving, is a reduction in the visibility of a local inflatable protective device on any part of the vehicle body while protecting it from mechanical damage that occurs when it comes into contact with foreign objects during parking, maneuvering or standing.

[0011] The technical result is achieved in that in a local inflatable protective device for a vehicle body, comprising an airtight flexible body, a valve for inflating with air and a mount to the vehicle body, the airtight flexible body is made of a transparent material, and the mount to the vehicle body is made in the form of an adhesive surface.

[0012] The airtight, flexible housing made of transparent material and the adhesive surface for attachment to the vehicle body, ensuring the absence of visible fasteners, combine to reduce the visibility of the localized inflatable protective device on the protected part of the vehicle body. Furthermore, the use of an adhesive surface combined with the flexibility of the transparent housing allows the device to be attached to any part of the vehicle body, including non-metallic and curved surfaces, and combinations thereof.

[0013] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0014] The technical result is explained by drawings:

[0015] Fig. 1 - top view of a local inflatable protective device for a vehicle body;

[0016] Fig. 2 - side view of a local inflatable protective device for a vehicle body.

[0017] IMPLEMENTATION OF A UTILITY MODEL

[0018] A local inflatable protective device for a vehicle body comprises: an airtight flexible body 1 made of a transparent material, preferably of a transparent film, in which a valve 3 for inflating with air is installed, wherein on the bottom side of the body 1 there is an adhesive surface, made mainly in the form of one or more transparent double-sided adhesive tapes 2, depending on the size and shape of the body 1, which can be made in the form of any figure depending on the shape and size of the protected part of the vehicle body.

[0019] The localized inflatable protective device for a vehicle body operates as follows: the user cleans and degreases the vehicle body surface, if necessary, then removes the protective layer (not shown) from the double-sided adhesive tape 2 and adheres the device to any suitable surface of the body, including curved and / or non-metallic surfaces, thanks to the flexibility of the body 1 and the adhesive surface of its underside. If necessary, the user can combine vehicle body protection by using more than one localized inflatable protective device.

[0020] Then, using any air pumping device, the user inflates the airtight flexible housing 1 with air until it forms a three-dimensional shape. The use of a transparent material, preferably transparent film, in conjunction with transparent double-sided adhesive tape 2, reduces the visibility of the localized inflatable protective device on the protected part of the vehicle body. During vehicle operation, if the vehicle comes into contact with foreign objects while parking, maneuvering, or standing, particularly with small stones thrown up by the wheels of other vehicles, as well as with tree branches and shrubs, the three-dimensional shape of the housing 1 prevents these damaging objects from coming into contact with the protected part of the vehicle body.In the event of a breach in the tightness of housing 1, the user removes the damaged local inflatable protective device from the surface of the vehicle body and installs a new similar device.
