Description

[0001] The utility model relates to the field of transport engineering, in particular to pneumatic suspensions of vehicles.

[0002] A pneumatic suspension is known that contains elastic elements located on a platform and equipped with elements for fastening to the sprung part of a vehicle and a fitting, shock absorbers and longitudinal levers with hinges, wherein the longitudinal levers are connected by a coupler, platforms for fastening the elastic element and shock absorbers are located on the longitudinal levers with hinges (see patent RU 94190, IPC B60G11 / 26, published 05 / 20 / 2010).

[0003] The disadvantage of the known technical solution is the insufficient reliability and durability of the air suspension, caused by a decrease in the strength of the longitudinal arms due to the fastening of the platforms for fastening the elastic element to the longitudinal arms and the presence of many mounting holes on the longitudinal arm, which weakens the design of the longitudinal arm of the air suspension.

[0004] The closest to the claimed utility model in terms of the totality of its essential features is a suspension for solid axles of vehicles with pneumatic suspension, comprising longitudinal levers connected by a coupler, located in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and connecting the axle of the vehicle to the frame by means of hinges located in brackets, spring units between the axle and the frame of the vehicle, made in the form of pneumatic springs located on platforms that are located on the coupler and made in one piece with it, while holes for fastening shock absorbers and eyes for connecting a limiting cable or anti-roll bar are made on the longitudinal levers (see patent RU 113203, IPC B60G11 / 00, published 10.02.2012).

[0005] The disadvantage of the known technical solution is the insufficient reliability and durability of the suspension, caused by the low rigidity of the longitudinal arms due to the presence of many mounting holes on the arms, which weaken their structure.

[0006] The technical problem that the claimed technical solution is aimed at solving is increasing the reliability and durability of the vehicle suspension unit by increasing the rigidity and strength of the longitudinal arms.

[0007] The technical result consists in increasing the reliability and durability of the vehicle suspension unit and is achieved due to the fact that in the vehicle suspension unit, which contains longitudinal levers connected by a tie and platforms for fastening air springs installed on the tie, the shelves of the longitudinal levers are made to expand from one end to the end of the tie connection.

[0008] A distinctive feature is the design of the longitudinal lever shelves expanding from one end to the end of the coupler connection.

[0009] The expansion of the longitudinal arm flanges from one end to the other, combined with the features of the restrictive part of the formula, increased the rigidity and strength of the longitudinal arms of the vehicle's suspension assembly by eliminating numerous holes at the end of the shorter arm of the longitudinal arms, which weaken the structure of the longitudinal arms. Consequently, the reliability and durability of the longitudinal arm and the vehicle's suspension assembly as a whole were improved. Furthermore, this design of the longitudinal arms allowed the use of a larger tie rod, which increased the rigidity of the entire vehicle's suspension assembly and eliminated the need for a stabilizer bar, thereby increasing reliability.

[0010] The claimed utility model is illustrated by drawings:

[0011] Fig. 1 - vehicle suspension unit, general view;

[0012] Fig. 2 - the same, top view.

[0013] The vehicle suspension unit contains two longitudinal levers 1 connected by a coupler 2 and platforms 3 for attaching air springs (not shown).

[0014] The longitudinal arms 1 are designed as unequal-arm levers and comprise a larger arm and a smaller arm. At the intersection of the arms of the levers 1 and at the end of the larger arm, there are openings for accommodating the hinge joint 4. At the end of the smaller arm, there is an opening 5 for the coupler 2, which can be made of any shape that prevents the coupler 2 from twisting, in particular, an oval shape. The longitudinal arms 1 can be made of a T-section or an I-beam, in particular an I-beam. The longitudinal arms 1 are made with upper and lower flanges 6 and 7, respectively. The flanges 6 and 7 are made expanding from the end of the larger arm to the end of the coupler 2 connection. The expanding flanges 6 and 7 of the longitudinal arms help to increase the rigidity and strength of the longitudinal arms 1 and allow the use of a coupler 2 of an increased size, which ensures the exclusion of the anti-roll bar of the vehicle suspension.

[0015] Tie rod 2 is installed in the openings 5 of longitudinal arms 1 via a press fit and can have any geometric cross-section, including oval. The connecting sections of tie rod 2 are shaped to prevent it from twisting within the openings 5 of arms 1. To ensure a more secure connection, the connection of tie rod 2 to arms 1 can be additionally secured against longitudinal movement by any available means.

[0016] The mounting pads 3 for the air springs are designed as plates and are detachably mounted to the coupler 2 using brackets. The brackets consist of two parts, 8 and 9. Part 8 is permanently connected to the mounting pad 3, while the other part, 9, is detachably connected to part 8. The design of the brackets and the oval shape of coupler 2 ensure a tight, secure fit of the mounting pads 3 on coupler 2, preventing their displacement. The outer edge of the mounting pads 3 rests on the surface of the longitudinal arms 1.

[0017] The claimed technical solution has made it possible to increase the reliability and durability of the vehicle suspension unit.

[0018] The claimed vehicle suspension unit can be manufactured on standard equipment using modern technologies and materials.
