Description
[0001] The utility model relates to auxiliary devices for eliminating the consequences of derailment of a railway rolling stock, namely to devices that, due to the special design of the device in the form of a crossbar with self-latching fixing brackets, a transverse chain with hooks and a longitudinal chain with a shortener, allow the alignment of a freight car bogie located at an angle to the track axis when it derails.
[0002] The following solutions are known from the prior art:
[0003] A utility model is known – a device for lifting, aligning, and rotating freight car bogies (RU 221424 U1, B61K 5 / 02, publication date November 7, 2023). It consists of a U-shaped metal base with welded plates at the edges for attachment using a round-link chain with a spring split pin and a central eye for gripping a lifting lashing chain. The novelty of the proposed technical solution lies in the creation of a device that enables a single lifting, lifting, aligning, and rotating of a wheel pair under a freight car.
[0004] The disadvantage of the specified prototype is the lack of fixation of the transverse and longitudinal retaining chains between themselves, so that the chain holding the bogie wheelset is located exactly along the axis of the car, as well as the use of a heavier design of the device with a labor-intensive method of fastening to the axle of the wheelset.
[0005] A significant difference from the prototype is the fixation of the transverse and longitudinal retaining chains between themselves, so that the chain holding the wheelset of the bogie is located exactly along the axis of the car and the bogie is aligned as much as possible along the axis of the track when the car is placed on the track, as well as in simplifying the method of fixing the claimed device on the axle of the wheelset due to self-locking fixing brackets.
[0006] The technical result of the claimed utility model is the ability to align, relative to the axis of the track, the bogie of a derailed freight car when placed on the track, due to a device in which the ability to attach to the axle of the wheelset of a crossbar with an eye welded in the middle, corresponding in length to the distance between the wheel disks of the wheelset, is realized, with the help of self-latching fixing brackets located along its edges, as well as the presence of a longitudinal chain, threaded through the eye of the crossbar and a transverse chain with hooks at both ends, rigidly connected to each other.
[0007] The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the device for hanging and aligning the bogie of a freight car has a crossbar, on the edges of which there are self-locking fixing brackets that grip the axle of the wheel pair during installation, at a distance corresponding to the distance between the inner edges of the wheel rims of the wheel pairs and an eye secured by welding from below in the middle, as well as a longitudinal chain threaded under the axle of the wheel pair into the eye to ensure retention, the connection and change of length of which is adjusted with the help of a chain shortener, with a transverse chain rigidly secured in its middle by welding, at the ends of which there are two grips for fastening to the center beam.
[0008] The essence of the utility model is explained by a drawing, which depicts the following:
[0009] Fig. 1 - Chain part of the device for hanging and
[0010] Freight car bogie alignment;
[0011] Fig. 2 - Device for hanging and leveling the freight car bogie;
[0012] Fig. 3 - Method of installing a device for hanging and leveling a freight car bogie;
[0013] - Longitudinal chain 1 - a metal chain of the required load capacity and size, serves to encircle the axle of the wheelset, is threaded through the eye 6 and fixed with a chain shortener 4, ensuring the possibility of transmitting the holding force from the transverse chain 2 attached by welding.
[0014] - Transverse chain 2 - a metal chain of the required load capacity and size, has hooks 3 at the edges, and in the middle is rigidly connected by welding to the longitudinal chain 1 and serves to hook onto the center beam 8 of the car using hooks 3.
[0015] - Hooks 3 - metal hooks attached to the ends of the cross chain 2, designed for hooking onto the ridge beam 8 of the car.
[0016] - Chain shortener 4 is a claw-type chain shortener made of metal and shaped to secure the desired link of the longer section of longitudinal chain 1 in a special holder. It is attached to the short side of longitudinal chain 1 relative to the weld by the outermost link.
[0017] - Crossbar 5 - a metal profile 1250 long. Self-locking fixing brackets 7 are welded to one of the planes along the edges of crossbar 5, and an eye 6 is welded to the opposite plane of crossbar 5 in the center.
[0018] - Eye 6 - a metal loop welded to crossbar 5, centered on the plane opposite the self-latching locking brackets 7, where the wheelset axle is located. It is used to thread longitudinal chain 1 through it to transmit the retaining force.
[0019] - Self-locking fixing brackets 7 - paired elements made of a 50 mm wide metal strip with high elasticity, allowing it to deform when released when placed on the axle of the wheelset and return to its original state without residual changes.
[0020] - Self-latching locking brackets 7 are circular with a diameter of 190 mm and a gap of one-third the circumference. They are welded to the plane opposite the eye 6, at the edges of crossmember 5, perpendicular to it and symmetrical to each other, relative to its center. They are located under the wheelset axle and serve to hold the wheelset above crossmember 5 during suspension and alignment of the freight car bogie.
[0021] - Center beam 8 is a part of a freight car located on the bottom. Hooks 3 engage center beam 8.
[0022] The device for hanging and aligning the bogie of a freight car is intended for lifting the bogie of a freight car simultaneously with lifting the freight car by a crane on the track of a recovery train and returning it to the track axis when lowering it onto the rails, where, due to self-locking locking brackets 7 and a crossbar 5, skewing or slipping of the wheel pair is excluded, and due to the longitudinal chain 1 threaded through the eye 6, it ensures that the claimed device is pulled together with the wheel pair to the center of the track axis, positioning the wheel disks above the rails.
[0023] When a freight car derails, the car bogie is turned at an angle to the track axis, and during emergency recovery operations, additional work is required to place it back on the track using hydraulic equipment and special stops to align the bogie, which takes additional time.
[0024] In order to reduce the time required to perform work on putting a derailed freight car bogie back on the rails, it is proposed to use a device for hanging and aligning the freight car bogie, made in the form of a crossbar 5, having self-latching fixing brackets 7 at the ends, and on the opposite plane in the center an eye 6 and a transverse chain 2, equipped with grips 3 and a longitudinal chain 1, equipped with a chain shortener 4, connected to each other by welding.After installing the cross-beam 5 under the axle of the wheelset, with the help of self-locking fixing brackets 7, which embrace the axle, the longitudinal chain 1 is passed through the eye 6 under the axle of the wheelset and with the help of the chain shortener 4, its fixation in a closed state with the required length is ensured, and the transverse chain 2 with the help of grips 3 is hooked onto the lower part of the center beam 8, so that the place of the welded joint of the longitudinal and transverse chain is located under the axis of the center beam 8 and then with the help of a lifting crane or hydraulic jacks the car with the derailed bogie of the freight car attached with the help of the claimed device is lifted, and due to the location of the eye 6 in the middle of the cross-beam 5, its positioning occurs in accordance with the axis of the track.
