AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing methods for producing concrete well elements with folded joint surfaces require additional reinforcing bars, complicating the manufacturing process and increasing costs, while existing molds are limited to producing products with flat or tongue-and-groove connections, lacking flexibility for folded upper surfaces.

Method used

A collapsible mold design featuring a pallet with an inclined projection and a removable core, allowing for the production of concrete well elements with a folded upper butt surface and a lower flat surface, which automatically flips over upon removal from the pallet, facilitating installation and sealing.

Benefits of technology

Enables efficient production of concrete well elements with enhanced sealing properties and resistance to horizontal shear, reducing manufacturing complexity and cost by eliminating the need for additional reinforcing bars.

Abstract

The utility model is intended for the production of wall elements of buried and underground engineering structures such as wells, sump tanks, septic tanks, and cellars from a concrete mix. A mold for forming a concrete well element comprises a tray and a removable core and a shell connected to it and concentrically installed. On the tray, along the outer wall, there is a projection with a cross-section in the form of an inward-facing shape inclined relative to the vertical at an angle of 10-30° by the side of a rectangular trapezoid, the length of the upper base of which is 60 mm, the height of which is 20-40 mm, wherein the removable core is made with a main external diameter that coincides with the diameter along the internal dimension between the vertices of the rectangular trapezoid, in the lower part it rests on the tray and has a reduced external diameter, 40-60 mm high from the base of the core with a smooth conical transition to the main diameter with the conjugation point located at a height of 90-150 mm from the base of the core. The shell has four holes located opposite each other at 90°, into which pins are inserted to form technological holes in the molded element of the concrete well, wherein the holes are located 50-300 mm below the center of gravity of the concrete well element with the ability to independently turn it over when removed from the pallet. The technical result consists in the possibility of producing in a detachable mold an element of a concrete well with an upper folded joint surface with a lug, which has higher sealing properties and resistance to horizontal shear during operation than a flat joint or a tongue-and-groove joint. 1 fig.,
