Abstract
Description
[0001] The utility model relates to the field of transport engineering, namely to the automotive industry, in particular to equipping trucks with closed-type luggage racks for external mounting, and can be used as a device for fastening tool boxes placed outside a vehicle, trailer or semi-trailer, for example, on its frame, made, for example, of a T-section, or in its body.
[0002] A truck toolbox is known from Russian Federation Patent No. 112114, Class B60R 9 / 00, 2012. It consists of a housing, a lid with a lock, and brackets for mounting it on the vehicle. The brackets have holes for attaching the toolbox, and the brackets are secured to the vehicle frame with bolts. This toolbox can be mounted externally, for example, on the frame, or in the truck bed.
[0003] Moreover, the capacity of such a box should not be large, since its body and lid are made of a polymer material and the load-bearing capacity should not be large due to the material of the box and the hanging fastening of the tool box itself to the frame of the vehicle, carried out with several bolts, while the bottom of the box does not have any support, which significantly limits the use of such a device.
[0004] A known toolbox mounting kit from the company "STAT", website: https: / / www.start-parts.ru / , produces attachments for trucks, tractors, trailers and semi-trailers Schmitz, Kogel, Krone, Kassbohrer, including: bumpers and panels, side protection, awning tension systems, mounting kits, bumpers. Central office in Moscow: 115304, ext. ter. g. Municipal district Tsaritsyno, Kaspiyskaya st., 22 k. 1 p. 5, floor / room. 3 / VII, off. 16.
[0005] The STAT toolbox mounting kit is the applicant's prototype. It comprises left and right side brackets with a flanged top edge and holes for mounting to the vehicle frame and toolbox mounting holes. The bracket mounting elements on the vehicle frame are designed as clamps and plates, secured with screws.
[0006] However, the side brackets of this design are designed to accommodate a lightweight tool box made of polymer material and small capacity, mainly for storing hand tools and other small-sized and light accessories, since the box remains in a suspended position, fixed on the brackets only along the side walls, without having any support on the bottom.
[0007] Therefore, the technical challenge faced when creating a toolbox is not the design of the box itself, but the development of a mounting device for it. Today, the pressing issue is how to mount a toolbox on a vehicle frame, specifically a cargo box, designed for external mounting, optimally adapted to existing vehicle designs, easy to manufacture, and ensuring secure storage of the accessories stored within. Furthermore, the device must ensure secure attachment of the toolbox, regardless of its size and the weight of the accessories stored within.
[0008] The stated problem is solved in that in the proposed solution, the device for fastening the tool box on the frame of a vehicle, containing side brackets, left and right, with a flange on the upper end and holes for fastening to the frame and holes for fastening the tool box, elements for fastening the brackets on the frame of the vehicle, made in the form of clamps and plates fastened with a screw connection, is provided with two support-ties, each of which is made from a profile, the base of each bracket is made with a bend, and in the bend there are holes for the passage of the support-tie profile, wherein each end of each support-tie is made bent at a right angle with the possibility of penetrating through an opening in the bend and connecting with the bracket, left and right, through the holes for fastening the tool box.
[0009] In addition, the profile of each support-tie is made in the form of a channel, and the number of holes in the bend for the passage of the profile is made according to the number of support-ties, while the bent end of each support-tie is made flat.
[0010] In addition, the flanging of the upper end of each side bracket, left and right, is designed to allow the bracket to be mounted on a T-section frame.
[0011] The technical result from the use of the claimed utility model is that the claimed design of the device ensures reliable fastening of the tool box, regardless of its size and weight, accessories placed in it, the device is easy to manufacture and does not require welding, provides maximum external fastening on the frame of most trucks, trailers and semi-trailers due to the use in the design, including support-ties, which significantly increase the possibilities of using the claimed device for fastening the tool box, both for modifications of vehicles and in terms of reliability, regardless of the load placed in the tool box, for which the claimed device is equipped with two support-ties, each of which is made from a profile, the base of each bracket is made with a bend, and holes are made in the bend for the passage of the support-tie profile, wherein each end of each support-tie is made bent at a right angle with the possibility of penetrating through an opening in the bend and connecting with the bracket, left and right, through the holes for fastening the tool box; the profile of each support-tie is made in the form of a channel, and the number of openings in the bend for the passage of the profile is made according to the number of support-ties, while the bent end of each support-tie is made flat; the flanging of the upper end of each side bracket, left and right, is made with the possibility of fastening the bracket on a T-section frame.
