[0001] The utility model relates to catheters, namely to a device for attaching a catheter tube to the body for draining urine.
[0002] In cases of extensive bladder cancer, such as carcinoma, where partial bladder preservation is impossible, surgeons resort to a radical solution: bladder ectomy (removal). In this procedure, one or both ureters are brought out onto the anterior abdominal wall. Special catheters are inserted into the resulting channel, such as a J-shaped polypropylene tube. One end has holes for draining urine from the kidneys, and the other has a special nipple for connection to a plastic bag into which urine flows from the catheter. As these bags fill, patients periodically drain the urine, thus replacing the natural function with medical means. Some J-shaped tubes contain fasteners for suture to the skin, while others do not have fasteners and are attached with medical tape.Both suturing to the skin and securing the tube with medical tape have various disadvantages. 1. A device for attaching a catheter tube to a body for draining urine, comprising a housing made in the form of a plate, on one side of which a groove is made for placing the catheter tube in it, while a clamp is placed on the housing for securing the catheter tube, and the entire device is made with the possibility of being attached to the skin using a medical patch.
2. A device for attaching a catheter tube to the body for draining urine according to paragraph 1, characterized in that the clamp for the tube is made in the form of a plate placed on the body.
3. A device for attaching a catheter tube to the body for draining urine according to paragraph 1, characterized in that the clamp for the tube is made in the form of a clamp, and in the center of the body there is an opening for placing the clamp therein, which tightens the tube.
