Abstract
The utility model relates to the field of construction and materials science, specifically to composite armor panels for protecting buildings, structures, and special equipment from bullets and shrapnel. The essence of the utility model: a multilayer armor panel comprises front and back layers of fiberglass, between which is a damping layer of a geopolymer matrix with ceramic spheres uniformly distributed therein. The compressive strength of the spheres is at least 2 times higher than the strength of the matrix. The spheres are arranged in two layers with an offset (checkerboard pattern). Mounting holes are molded along the edges of the panel. The technical result: reduced manufacturing costs (use of waste), ensured fire safety (non-combustible mineral matrix), increased resistance to multiple hits (absorption of bullet energy due to the rotation of the spheres in the matrix). Fig. 2 shows a cross-section of the panel.
