Abstract
Description
[0001] The utility model relates to mechanical engineering, namely to supporting devices for thread rolling machines.
[0002] A loading device is known, mainly for machines for rolling threads with two rollers, one of which is fixed on a headstock having an automatic cycle of movements, containing a hopper with a supply tray, a driven feeder with a lock and a discharge tray-slide, in which, in order to simplify the design, the feeder drive is made in the form of two adjustable stops fixed on a movable headstock, and the feeder is made in the form of a slider with grooves, connected to a spring-loaded feed lever interacting with one of the stops, while the lock is made in the form of a spring-loaded latch entering the groove of the slider and contacting the second stop (see patent SU 476929, published 15.07.1975).
[0003] The disadvantages of the known design are its relative complexity and the fact that a large free area on the machine bed is required to accommodate the loading device, which is not possible on all thread rolling machines.
[0004] As a prototype, based on the totality of its essential features, we adopt a loading device for a thread rolling machine, comprising a housing mounted on the machine frame with a guide tray, a pneumatic cylinder, a supporting knife, a drive pusher and a discharge tray, in which, in order to increase the productivity of rolling threads on long workpieces by combining loading and unloading operations, the device is equipped with a movable carriage with a prismatic groove, a lift with a bevel, a spring-loaded clamp, a support roller located on the supporting knife, and a lock, wherein the supporting knife is installed with the possibility of rotation and interaction with the lock, and the movable carriage is placed in the device housing with the possibility of interaction with the drive pusher, the lift with a bevel is placed on the said movable carriage with the possibility of interaction with the support roller, and the spring-loaded clamp is rigidly fixed to the housing above the carriage (see.patent for invention SU 1632595, published 07.03.1991).
[0005] The disadvantage of the prototype is its relative complexity, as well as the fact that the design uses a pneumatic cylinder, which increases the cost of the design, makes it larger, and requires a lot of space on the machine frame.
[0006] The technical problem that the utility model is aimed at solving is the development of a design that ensures the safety of loading and unloading the workpiece and the ability to adjust the unloading of the workpiece.
[0007] The stated problem is solved due to the fact that in the supporting device for the thread rolling machine, containing a housing, guides and a tray for feeding workpieces, in accordance with the proposed technical solution, the device contains an ejector, the housing is equipped with a hard-alloy soldered plate with a cylindrical groove for basing the workpiece, a rack with two parallel guide holes is attached to the housing, an ejector is installed in the lower hole of the rack, a guide lock is installed in the upper hole of the rack, in which a drive handle is installed with the possibility of axial movement, the drive handle and the ejector are connected to each other by a guide plate and are installed with the possibility of axial movement in one direction, a spring is installed inside the rack with the possibility of adjusting the tension force by the lock.
[0008] A set of essential features consisting in the fact that "the device contains an ejector, the housing is equipped with a hard-alloy brazed plate with a cylindrical groove for basing the workpiece, a rack with two parallel guide holes is attached to the housing, an ejector is installed in the lower hole of the rack, a guide lock is installed in the upper hole of the rack, in which a drive handle is installed with the possibility of axial movement, the drive handle and the ejector are connected to each other by a guide plate and are installed with the possibility of axial movement in one direction, a spring with the possibility of adjusting the tension force by the lock is installed inside the rack" allows to ensure the safety of loading and unloading workpieces and the ability to adjust the force for unloading workpieces, eliminate the possibility of injury to the operator when removing the workpiece from the thread rolling zone and makes it possible to compactly assemble the processed parts in the working area,easily accessible to the operator,
[0009] A search of scientific, technical, and patent documentation revealed no equivalent that matches the entire set of essential features of the claimed technical solution. This suggests that the claimed technical solution meets the patentability requirement of "novelty" for a utility model.
[0010] The utility model is illustrated by drawings which depict:
[0011] Fig. 1 - supporting device for a thread rolling machine, general front view;
[0012] Fig. 2 - view A in Fig. 1.
[0013] The thread rolling machine support device consists of a housing 1 with brazed carbide inserts 2 containing a cylindrical groove for supporting the workpiece. Using carbide inserts increases the service life of the device. Housing 1 has slots for mounting the device on the machine bed, allowing vertical movement and adjustment to the required workpiece diameter. Tray 4 is attached to housing 1 with screws 3. Tray 4 carries the workpiece and removes it after the thread rolling operation. Tray 4 also has a cylindrical groove for movement. Tray 4 has a large overhang, allowing the machine operator to remove the workpiece outside the machining zone. Column 6, containing two parallel holes, is attached to housing 1 with screws 5. Ejector 7 is installed in the lower hole of column 6, allowing axial movement.A guide lock 8 is installed in the upper opening, in which a drive handle 9 is mounted with axial movement. Ejector 7 and drive handle 9 are connected by a guide plate 10. Lock 8 allows the tension of spring 11, which is installed inside post 6, to be adjusted. A large-head screw 12 serves as a stop for guide plate 8, preventing it from slipping out of the groove in post 6.
[0014] The thread rolling machine support device operates as follows: device body 1 is mounted to the thread rolling machine frame using screws. The device's projection height is adjusted depending on the diameter of the workpiece being machined. The workpiece is then placed in the cylindrical groove of tray 4 until it touches the end of ejector 7. The thread rolling process then begins with the thread rolling rollers. After the thread rolling process is complete and the thread rolling rollers have been retracted from the machining area, the operator gently pulls drive handle 9 to the right. Spring 11 is compressed, and guide plate 10 moves to the right along the guide groove along with ejector 7, removing the workpiece from the machining area and transferring it to tray 4, where the operator can conveniently and safely pick it up. Ejector 7 and drive handle 9 return to their original position under the pressure of spring 11.
[0015] The supporting device for the thread rolling machine can be manufactured on standard equipment using well-known materials and modern tools, which meets the criterion of “industrial applicability”.
