Abstract
Description
[0001] The utility model relates to means for cutting fastening tapes and films during the process of packaging or opening packaging.
[0002] When using tape or electrical tape, please bring a knife to open the packages.
[0003] Standard methods for tearing / cutting tape involve the constant use of portable tools such as a knife, scissors, tape dispenser, etc. In this case, when cutting tape, a series of steps are required: release the tape, pick up the tool from the table, make the cut, put down the knife, and put down the tape. The same procedure applies when wrapping with film.
[0004] When using a sharp fingertip, actions such as “put down the tape, lift the knife, put down the knife” are eliminated, since the cutting tool is always on the packer’s hand.
[0005] Various solutions are known from the prior art that are aimed at solving this problem, including a tool with a triangular or other shaped tip, which is placed on the thumb of the working hand during the packaging process.
[0006] From patent CN 203344077 U, published: 12 / 18 / 2013, a finger cot made of a hard material with serrated blades at the end is known.
[0007] From patent CN 202934604 U, published: 05 / 15 / 2013, a finger cot made of a hard material with a blade at the end is known.
[0008] The closest analog is patent CN 107139219 A, published September 8, 2017, which describes a tape-cutting tool that is always worn on the finger of the right hand, with a finger cot and blade. The finger cot is a cylinder with a longitudinal slot that fits over the index, middle, or thumb of the right hand. It fits snugly but does not cause discomfort to your fingers, and the blade is a microblade of small length and width, serrated and pointing upward. The finger cot is made of plastic and rubber.
[0009] Also known are solutions similar in principle to the prototype in patents US 2022371213 A1, FR 2918306 A1, which describe a ring with a blade.
[0010] The technical problem with all known solutions is the rigid shape of the ring with a blade or the fingertip with a blade.
[0011] This rigid mold is sized to fit a specific finger size, requiring the tool to be made in different sizes for men and women. This is inconvenient.
[0012] A more rational solution - a universal size finger cot.
[0013] Although the prototype CN 107139219 A indicates that the finger cot can be made of rubber, this solution still has a certain minimum size, below which the finger will dangle in such a finger cot, and if it is larger and the finger cot sits tightly on the finger, it creates discomfort by tightening the finger too much, squeezing its blood vessels.
[0014] Furthermore, a finger cot made of an elastic material like rubber lacks the firmness to support the finger. Consequently, when the blade hits the tape, the rubber base of the cot provides cushioning and the blade doesn't press against the tape with much resistance, making it difficult to cut.
[0015] Thus, finger cots made of hard material that holds its shape have limitations in size, and finger cots made of elastic material are ineffective in cutting tape due to low resistance.
[0016] The purpose of the stated solution is to eliminate the above mentioned problems.
[0017] The technical result of the declared solution is the universality of attachment to fingers of any size, as well as a tight fixation of the blade on the finger.
[0018] The specified technical result is achieved due to the fact that a device for fixing a blade on a finger is claimed, containing an elastic material and a blade fixed to it, characterized in that the elastic material is made with the possibility of fixing one side of it to the other side, wherein the base of the fixing part is located on one side of the elastic material, and on the other side there is a corresponding fixing part, wherein the blade in its base contains through holes through which it is fixed to the elastic material.
[0019] Preferably the elastic material is made in the form of rubber fabric.
[0020] Preferably, the base of the fixing part is made in the form of a Velcro tape with villi (loops), and the mating fixing part is made in the form of Velcro hooks.
[0021] It is acceptable for the Velcro tape to be attached to the fabric by stitching or through an adhesive layer.
[0022] It is permissible for the blade to be stitched through the fabric and in the area of the base of the locking part. In this case, the mating locking part can be designed to interact with the base of the locking part through the blade holes.
[0023] The blade is preferably made with a triangular tip cutter.
[0024] The blade is preferably made of steel.
[0025] The blade base is preferably made in an arcuate cross-section.
[0026] It is acceptable for the fixing base and counter parts to be made in the form of hooks and loops or rivet buttons.

[0040] Implementation of a utility model
[0041] The utility model is a device for fixing a blade on a finger, containing an elastic material and a blade attached to it.
[0042] What is new is that the elastic material is designed with the possibility of fixing one side of it to the other side, wherein the base of the fixing part is located on one side of the elastic material, and on the other side is a corresponding fixing part, wherein the blade in its base contains through holes through which it is fixed to the elastic material.
[0043] The elastic material can be made of rubber fabric or silicone or rubber.
[0044] For example, if (see Fig. 1 - Fig. 3) an elastic material 1 in the form of a rubber fabric is used, then the base of the fixing part 2 is attached to a piece of rubber fabric on one side, and the mating fixing part 3 is attached to the other.
[0045] Similar design using silicone or rubber material.
[0046] In this case, the blade 4 in the base 5 is made to contain through holes 6.
[0047] At the moment of fixation on the finger with part of the fabric 1, wrap the finger of the hand with tension of the base of the fixing part upwards (see Fig. 6), on which the base of the blade is placed (see Fig. 7) so that it is located above the fingernail, and under tension the remaining part of the fabric is fixed with the mating fixing part through the holes of the blade (see Fig. 8).
[0048] This blade attachment principle, thanks to the claimed utility model, ensures universal attachment to fingers of any size by using an elastic material that tightly wraps around any finger, and the blade is secured in the desired position on the finger by clamps. Furthermore, a tight fit of the blade 4 on the finger is ensured by the blade being tightly clamped to the elastic material 1 by clamps 2 and 3 through holes 6 in its base 5 and by the tension of the material 1 itself.
[0049] For example, for elastic fabric, cut a knitted elastic to the required length, usually enough to wrap 2-3 times around the finger. Then, if necessary, hem the 8 edges by 3-4 mm (to prevent the fabric from fraying). Then, sew on Velcro or other fasteners and a 4-blade.
[0050] The fixing base and the mating parts are made, for example, in the form of Velcro, or hooks and loops (for example, https: / / www.ozon.ru / product / kryuchki-prishivnye-1-0300-4005-24-sht-upak-ayris-520877273 / ) or rivet buttons (for example, https: / / www.ozon.ru / product / knopki-alfa-15-mm-nikel-1006620193 / ).
[0051] So, when making fasteners using Velcro, the base of the fastening part 2 is made in the form of Velcro tape with loops, and the opposite fastening part 3 is made in the form of Velcro hooks. The same applies when using hooks and loops or snap rivets.
[0052] Velcro tape can be attached to the fabric by stitching (sew-on tape, for example, https: / / www.ozon.ru / product / lenta-kontaktnaya-25mm-1m-chernaya-lipuchka-velkro-prishivnaya-596103966 / ) or through an adhesive layer (self-adhesive tape, for example, https: / / www.ozon.ru / product / lenta-lipuchka-samokleyashchayasya-2-metra-shirina-25-mm-chernaya-288953487 / ).
[0053] To ensure a tighter fixation of the blade 4 on the finger, the blade is pre-stitched on the elastic material 1 through the through holes 6. This stitching 7 is carried out in the same way as sewing on a button.
[0054] Blade 4 can be made of various shapes, for example, with a cutter of a triangular tip (Fig. 4) or another shape (Fig. 5).
[0055] The blade material can be any (hard plastic, aluminum (Fig. 5), plexiglass). The most preferred blade material is steel (Fig. 14), as it is the hardest.
[0056] To more securely attach the blade to the finger, it is preferable for its base 5 to be arcuate in cross-section (see Fig. 1, Fig. 14). This way, it wraps more tightly around the finger and presses more firmly against it, increasing the resistance density.
[0057] The claimed solution is used as follows.
[0058] A finger knife is a tool with a blade that is placed, preferably on the thumb of the working hand, during the packaging process.
[0059] When working with tape or other fixing tape (e.g., transparent packaging film), place a finger cot on the finger of your working hand, apply the tape to the desired packaging (box, bubble wrap, etc.), and after applying the required length of tape, pierce the tape with your thumb and cot at the desired location and tear it off. The same procedure applies to packaging film.
[0060] The finger knife in this solution is designed to be comfortable for the packer. It features a tightening mechanism, ensuring a universal size and fits any finger. The blade is moderately sharp, preventing the packer from injuring themselves.
[0061] Examples of fixing a blade on a finger using the claimed utility model are shown below.
[0062] Example 1.
[0063] The blade is made with through holes at the base (Fig. 14). The elastic material is in the form of rubber fabric, to a piece of which the base of the fixing part is pre-attached on one side, and the corresponding fixing part on the other.
[0064] The fastening mechanism uses Velcro. The base of the fastening part is made of Velcro tape with loops, and the opposite fastening part is made of Velcro hooks.
[0065] If a blade needs to be secured to a finger, wrap a portion of the fabric (somewhere in the middle) around the finger, pulling the base of the securing portion upward (Fig. 6). Then, place the blade on the base of the securing portion so that it rests above the fingernail (Fig. 7). Then, while maintaining tension, secure the remaining portion of the fabric with the corresponding securing portion through the holes in the blade (Fig. 8).
[0066] The blade is ready for use (Fig. 9).
[0067] Example 2.
[0068] Differs from Example 1 in that a working blade is sewn onto the overlap.
[0069] Example 3.
[0070] Differs from Example 1 in that it uses hooks and loops as the locking mechanism. The loops are threaded through holes in the blade base.
[0071] Example 4.
[0072] Differents from Example 1 in that it uses rivet buttons as the locking mechanism. The base of the rivet buttons is inserted through holes in the blade base.
[0073] Example 5.
[0074] Differs from Example 1 in that silicone is used as the elastic material, Velcro is used as the fixing mechanism, the base of the fixing part and the mating fixing part are made in the form of Velcro hooks and are attached to the silicone during its molding.
[0075] Example 6.
[0076] Differs from Example 5 in that rubber is used as the elastic material.
[0077] Testing of prototypes (Fig. 4, Fig. 5) revealed a tight blade fit to the finger and a high degree of blade resistance when pressed against adhesive tape (Fig. 10 - Fig. 13) and transparent film. This makes cutting adhesive tape and film quick and easy.
