Description
[0001] Technical field
[0002] The claimed technical solution relates to the field of compressor engineering and can be used primarily in crosshead-type piston compressors.
[0003] Technology Level
[0004] The prior art includes a design of a crosshead piston compressor with a rod on which a cast disc piston is fixed (Frenkel M.I. Piston compressors. L.: Mechanical Engineering, 1969, pp. 395-399).
[0005] A prior art technical solution is known in which a compressor piston consists of two piston halves assembled together. A through hole is made in the center of each half-piston, through which a piston rod passes, and the piston is secured to the piston rod using a crown nut and a locking pin (see RU 144560).
[0006] The prior art contains a technical solution accepted as the closest analogue, which presents a composite piston made in the form of two half-pistons fixed on a rod with a nut and a lock washer (see RU 157448).
[0007] In known technical solutions, the piston designs are complex due to the use of additional fasteners, as well as the fact that the piston is made of two parts, which complicates the design, which reduces the operating efficiency of the crosshead piston compressor.
[0008] The technical result is to simplify the design of the piston of a crosshead-type piston compressor.
[0009] The technical result is achieved in that a crosshead-type piston compressor comprising a housing, a cylinder with a piston placed inside it in the form of a cylindrical element mounted on a rod and made with the possibility of performing reciprocating movements, a nut that fixes the position of the cylindrical element on the rod, sealing elements installed in grooves made on the outer surface of the cylindrical element, characterized in that the cylindrical element is made in the form of a solid sleeve installed through locking rings on the rod, wherein between the locking rings on the rod a bushing is placed that prevents axial displacement of the locking rings, and the outer surface of each of the locking rings is made with a recess for installing the solid sleeve.
[0010] Brief description of drawings
[0011] The claimed utility model is illustrated by the following illustrations:
[0012] Fig. 1 shows a general view of a crosshead type piston compressor.
[0013] Fig. 2 shows the cylinder liner of a crosshead piston compressor.
[0014] Where: 1 - body; 2 - cylindrical element; 3 - rod; 4 - nut; 5 - sealing element; 6 - grooves made on the outer surface of the piston; 7 - retaining ring; 8 - sleeve; 9 - recess made on the outer surface of the retaining ring; 10 - cylinder.
[0015] A crosshead piston compressor comprises a housing 1, a cylinder with a piston located therein in the form of a cylindrical element 2 mounted on a rod 3 and capable of performing reciprocating movements, a nut 4 fixing the position of the cylindrical element 2 on the rod 3, sealing elements 5 installed in grooves 6. Grooves 6 are made on the outer surface of the cylindrical element. Sealing elements 5 are made in the form of rings, for example, from SCh25, polyamide, fluoroplastic, AFGM, ATM-2. The cylindrical element 2 is made in the form of a solid sleeve. The solid sleeve is removable, which allows changing the configuration of the sealing elements 5 while maintaining the standard size of the piston, which is made in the form of a cylindrical element 2. The removable solid sleeve is placed on the rod 3 through fixing rings 7.A sleeve 8 is positioned between the retaining rings 7, designed to be mounted on the piston rod 3 and limiting the axial movement of the retaining rings 7. The retaining rings 7 are mounted on the outer surface of the piston rod 3 and are provided with a recess 9 for the installation of a removable one-piece sleeve. By fitting the removable one-piece sleeve to the retaining rings with an interference fit, a tight seal is ensured and gas ingress into the piston's interior is prevented.
[0016] This example demonstrates the use of a piston designed as a removable one-piece liner installed in a crosshead-type piston compressor with a universal piston rod bore diameter, for example, d=45 mm with a cylinder size range of D=100–140 mm. Preliminary calculations revealed several advantages over known analogs, including the ability to change the groove configuration by replacing the removable one-piece liner without replacing the entire unit. This allows for the use of a removable one-piece liner with pre-formed grooves of the desired profile.
[0017] During production, it is possible to change the outer diameter of the removable solid liner to adjust the gap between the removable liner and cylinder 10 from 0.25 to 0.75 mm, since when the removable solid liner is in operation, the sealing elements rub against the inner surface of cylinder 10 and the gap can increase, and to compensate for this increase in the gap, it is possible to replace the current liner with a removable solid liner of an increased diameter.
[0018] Thus, the use in the design of a crosshead piston compressor of a cylindrical element made in the form of a solid sleeve installed through retaining rings on the rod, while between the retaining rings on the rod there is a bushing that prevents axial displacement of the retaining rings, and the outer surface of each of the retaining rings is made with a recess for installing a solid sleeve, which simplifies the design of the piston of a crosshead piston compressor.
