Abstract

This utility model relates to construction, specifically to ceramic or porcelain-granite slabs intended for attachment to horizontal and vertical surfaces on the interior or exterior of buildings. The technical result of the claimed utility model is to eliminate the aforementioned shortcomings of known technical solutions.The said technical result is achieved due to the fact that the facing and decorative module includes a tile element provided with a substrate, the elements of which are attached to the tile element using mechanical clamps, wherein the substrate is formed from rods bent so that in each of the two adjacent sides a protrusion is formed beyond the tile element, in each of the opposite said adjacent sides a groove is formed, in accordance with the said protrusion, the size of the groove is chosen to be larger than the size of the corresponding protrusion, wherein on the sides of the groove formation from the rods hooks are formed, extending beyond the tile element and intended for its attachment to the surface for cladding.

Description

[0001] The utility model relates to the field of construction, namely to ceramic or porcelain-granite slabs intended for attachment to horizontal and vertical surfaces on the inside or outside of buildings.

[0002] A well-known classic method of covering a surface is to attach tiles to a surface that has undergone special preparation (wall leveling, plastering, puttying, priming, etc.) using tile adhesive.

[0003] The disadvantages of the known method are:

[0004] the need to use skilled labor;

[0005] high requirements for surface pre-treatment;

[0006] Long drying time for walls after each operation (plastering, puttying, priming, gluing tiles, grouting);

[0007] non-disassemblable structure;

[0008] When fastening the slabs to the floor, it is necessary to either fix gypsum fiber boards to it, or pour a cement screed with reinforcement;

[0009] Limited surface material for gluing boards (for example, wooden walls need to be covered with plasterboard boards after constructing a frame).

[0010] A method for producing ceramic tiles that do not require grouting is known [RU Patent for Invention No. 2606893, published on 10.01.2017], which involves providing a strong surface having a lower surface; casting a base to accommodate at least a section of the strong surface therein; fastening the strong surface to the base by injection molding the base around at least a section of the strong surface so that the strong surface is at least partially inserted inside the base; and after casting the base to obtain at least a section of the strong surface, milling at least a section of the base to create a first connecting element on the edge of the base and a second connecting element on the other edge of the base.

[0011] A multi-purpose tile system is known [patent for invention EA No. 041093, published on 13.09.2022], configured to be connected in a chevron pattern, in which each tile comprises a first pair of opposite edges, consisting of a first edge and an opposite second edge, and a second pair of opposite edges, consisting of a third edge and an opposite fourth edge, wherein the first pair of opposite edges is characterized by the presence of pairs of opposite first mechanical connecting means for fixing said tiles, at least vertically, and the second pair of opposite edges is characterized by the presence of pairs of second mechanical connecting means for fixing said tiles, at least vertically.

[0012] However, existing technical solutions are characterized by a complex method of joining tile elements, requiring the production of tile elements with complex geometric shapes and strict adherence to dimensions to ensure seamless joining. Furthermore, their production requires complex technological processes, such as molding, casting, etc., as well as specialized factory conditions.

[0013] The technical result of the claimed utility model is the elimination of the above-mentioned disadvantages of known technical solutions.

[0014] The specified technical result is achieved due to the fact that the facing and decorative module includes a tiled element provided with a substrate, the elements of which are attached to the tiled element using mechanical clamps, wherein the substrate is formed from rods bent so that in each of the two adjacent sides a protrusion is formed beyond the tiled element, in each of the opposite said adjacent sides a groove is formed, in accordance with the said protrusion, the size of the groove is selected to be larger than the size of the protrusion corresponding to it, while on the sides of the formation of the grooves from the rods hooks are formed, extending beyond the tiled element and intended for its attachment to the surface for cladding.

[0015] There are possible options for developing the basic technical solution, which consist of the following:

[0016] at least one hole is formed in at least one projection of the substrate layer for attaching the module to the surface;

[0017] A reinforcing mesh layer is located between the substrate layer and the tile element.

[0018] Thus, a fundamentally new and simple method of surface cladding has been proposed. The proposed technical solutions reduce the requirements for surface material and its preliminary preparation, simplify the manufacturing process, and enable the creation of prefabricated and disassemblable cladding and decorative modules with reduced requirements for substrate shape accuracy. This is due to the fact that cutouts and protrusions create a tongue-and-groove joint horizontally along the cladding surface.

[0024] The facing and decorative module (Fig. 1-4) includes a tile element 1, provided with a substrate 2, the elements of which are attached to the tile element using mechanical clamps 8.

[0025] The substrate 2 is formed from rods bent so that in each of the two adjacent sides a protrusion 3 is formed beyond the tile element 1.

[0026] In each of the opposite said adjacent sides, a groove 4 is formed, corresponding to the said protrusion 3.

[0027] The size of groove 4 is selected to be larger than the size of the corresponding protrusion 3.

[0028] On those sides of the tile element 1, from which grooves 4 from rods are formed in the substrate, hooks 7 are formed in the substrate, extending beyond the tile element 1 and intended for attaching it to the surface 5 for cladding, for example, using fasteners (not shown in the figures).

[0029] The thickness of underlay 2 is selected to support the weight of tile element 1 and also depends on the type of surface to be tiled. For example, when laying on a floor, underlay 2 requires greater load-bearing capacity and rigidity.

[0030] The edges of substrate 2 extend beyond the edges of tile element 1, forming protrusions 3 (ridges) and grooves 4 that do not extend to the edge of the module by the same amount as protrusions 3 extend beyond the edges of the module. Thus, protrusions 3 of one module must fit into grooves 4 of another module when they are joined.

Claims

1. A facing and decorative module that includes a tile element equipped with a substrate, the elements of which are attached to the tile element using mechanical clamps, wherein the substrate is formed from rods bent so that in each of the two adjacent sides a projection is formed beyond the tile element, in each of the adjacent sides opposite to said said projection a groove is formed, corresponding to said projection, the size of the groove is chosen to be larger than the size of the corresponding projection, while on the sides of the groove formation from the rods hooks are formed that extend beyond the tile element and are intended for attaching it to the surface for cladding.

2. A facing and decorative module according to paragraph 1, characterized in that at least one hole is formed in at least one projection of the substrate for fastening the module to the surface.

3. A facing and decorative module according to paragraph 1, characterized in that a reinforcing mesh layer is located between the substrate and the tile element.
