Abstract
Description
[0001] Application area
[0002] The utility model relates to the field of satisfying human vital needs, more precisely to equipment for processing and cooking food on a gas stove, and is intended for use in devices for grilling (barbecuing) meat and sausage products.
[0003] Technology Level
[0004] Grill attachments used in conjunction with devices with gas burners are known from the prior art, for example, those disclosed in patents US 4593676 A, publication date, AU 2014295918 A1, publication date 03 / 17 / 2016, KR 20070099729 A, comprising a tray with a central through hole formed therein, a grate installed thereon, and a lid. For cooking, the devices are installed on the burner of a gas stove, gas hob, or similar device using gas. A stream of hot air from the gas burner is directed into the interior of the grill attachment, heating the surface of the grate, thereby ensuring the cooking of products placed on said grate.
[0005] The drawback of these technical solutions is uneven heating of the grate and the food placed on it, as the heat from the burner is directed toward the center of the grate. As a result, the center of the grate heats up faster than the perimeter, resulting in uneven cooking times. Food in the center or closer to the center tends to burn, while food on the perimeter tends to be undercooked.
[0006] Thus, the technical problem solved by the claimed utility model is to increase the efficiency of grill attachments for gas stoves.
[0007] Disclosure of the essence of the utility model
[0008] The technical result consists in ensuring the possibility of uniform heating of the surface of the grill grate for a gas stove by means of uniform distribution over the entire surface of the grate of a flow of hot air entering the grill grate from the switched-on gas burner.
[0009] The said technical problem is solved, and the technical result is achieved by making a grill-attachment divider for a gas stove, which contains a cone-shaped hollow cast-iron body, located in the internal volume of the grill-attachment, and is designed with the possibility of uniformly distributing the flow of hot air along the perimeter of the grill-attachment grate by cutting the said flow of hot air with the apex of the cone-shaped body, directed at the opening of the grill-diffuser tray.
[0010] An additional feature is that it is attached to the grill grate.
[0011] Brief description of drawings
[0012] Fig. 1 and 2 show a grill attachment for a stove with a diffuser installed in it, where 1 is a grill attachment cover; 2 is a grill attachment grate; 3 is a diffuser; 4 is the top of the diffuser body; 5 is a grill attachment tray; 6 is an opening in the grill attachment tray; 7 is a bolted connection of the diffuser and the grate.
[0013] Implementation of a utility model
[0014] The declared divider 3 is intended for use as part of a grill attachment (Fig. 1) for a gas stove and is located in the internal volume of the grill attachment between the grate 2 and the tray 5. The divider is secured with a bolted connection 7 on the grate 2 of the grill attachment in such a way that the top 4 of the conical body of the divider 3 is directed towards the opening 6 of the tray 5 of the grill attachment.
[0015] The grill attachment and diffuser are made of cast iron, which allows it to retain the heat coming from the gas stove burner and eliminates the possibility of deformation from exposure to high temperatures, which also solves the problem of increasing efficiency due to the elimination of deformation of the diffuser body.
[0016] When the grill attachment is placed on a hot stove burner, a stream of hot air rushes into the grill attachment through opening 6 of the tray, heating the grate and any food placed on it (meat, fish, etc.). Without a diffuser, the center of the grate overheats, while the edges are not heated sufficiently because the hot air flow, encountering no resistance, passes only through the center of the grate. This results in uneven heating of the grate surface and, consequently, uneven heating of the food, which affects the quality of the cooking.
[0017] After installing the diffuser, the apex of the cone-shaped body "cuts" the hot air flow. The air, deflected first by the apex and then by the sides of the diffuser body, hits the areas farthest from the center of the grate, heating them. This ensures uniform heating of the entire grate surface, significantly improving cooking time and thereby increasing the efficiency of gas grill attachments.
Claims
1. A grill-attachment divider for a gas stove, comprising a cone-shaped hollow cast-iron body located in the internal volume of the grill-attachment, and designed with the possibility of uniformly distributing a flow of hot air along the perimeter of the grill-attachment grate by cutting said flow of hot air with the apex of the cone-shaped body, directed toward the opening of the grill-attachment tray.
2. A grill attachment divider according to paragraph 1, characterized in that it is designed with the possibility of being secured to the grill grate.
