Description

[0001] This utility model pertains to railway engineering, specifically to devices installed on tracked vehicles to enable them to cross railway tracks or perform tasks on railway tracks (loading and unloading, construction and restoration work, etc.). When using equipment, particularly in emergency response situations, it becomes necessary to enable it to cross a railway track that is not equipped with a permanent crossing or to perform construction and restoration work from railway tracks. The lack of special devices leads to limitations in work on railway tracks, damage to the track superstructure by the tracks, and increased wear on tracked vehicle components caused by driving over obstacles such as rails. There is a need for mobile devices that are small in size for transportation, allowing them to be transported on tracked vehicles, where necessary, to quickly construct a crossing and move tracked vehicles across a railway track, to perform tasks on railway tracks (loading and unloading operations, construction and restoration work, etc.) while maintaining the integrity of the track superstructure, rails, sleepers, and fastenings.

[0002] A railway crossing [Author's Certificate No. 983164, published December 23, 1982, Bulletin No. 47] is known, designed for moving equipment across railway tracks. It consists of slabs with U-shaped openings for installation on sleepers. A disadvantage of a railway crossing is that it is a permanent device, intended for final installation on the railway track.

[0003] A railroad crossing [Patent 2100514, published December 27, 1997] is known, comprising monolithic rubber-based slabs containing reinforcing elements made of randomly distributed rubber-containing waste material in the center and fastened together with brackets to form a closed loop. A disadvantage of this railroad crossing is that it is a permanent device, intended for final installation on the track.

[0004] A railway crossing with a rubber-containing coating and a device for installing a rubber-containing coating are known [Patent 2177522, published on 27.12.2001], which have disadvantages similar to those of the above-mentioned devices.

[0005] The Composite rubber / concrete railroad grade crossing system [US 5181657 A] is known, which is a device for moving equipment across railroad tracks, but is not a mobile device and requires additional elements for installation.

[0006] A mobile device for moving equipment across a railroad track is known [Patent for Utility Model RU 216288 U1]. It is designed to move wheeled and tracked vehicles across a railroad track in the absence of a standard crossing and consists of identical purlins, each shaped like a channel and longer, wider, and taller than a railroad tie. The purlin flanges face downward, and the ends of the purlins are bounded by identical inclined metal sheets such that the purlin on the side of each flange has the shape of an isosceles trapezoid.

[0007] A disadvantage of the mobile track crossing device is its inability to operate tracked vehicles from the track or perform maneuvers (turns). The mobile track crossing device is a rather bulky structure.

[0008] A similar in design portable collapsible railway metal decking is known and is considered a prototype [Patent No. 170804, 2017], consisting of several identical metal purlins, each of which is shaped like a channel. Each purlin is greater in length, width, and height than a railway sleeper. The purlin flanges face downward, and the purlin ends are limited by identical inclined metal sheets. At the bottom of each purlin, there are two identical grooves symmetrically located from the purlin axis, with the distance between them equal to the railway track gauge. The disadvantages of the portable collapsible railway metal decking are the time-consuming assembly time, the large number of decking elements, and the inability to transport the portable collapsible railway metal decking on vehicles as a mobile device that does not interfere with the transportation of goods or people.

[0009] The technical objective of the utility model is to expand the functional capabilities of a portable, collapsible railway metal flooring, increasing its mobility and allowing it to be transported on tracked vehicles, if necessary, to quickly construct a crossing and move tracked vehicles across the railway track, to perform tasks on railway tracks (loading and unloading operations, construction and restoration work, etc.) while maintaining the integrity of the track superstructure, rails, sleepers, and fastenings.

[0010] The technical task is accomplished due to the fact that the flooring for crossing a railway track and working on railway tracks of tracked vehicles, consisting of sections, and each section is a three-dimensional metal product in the form of a channel of a U-shaped cross-section, and the base of the section, connecting the shelves facing downwards, is directed upwards, and each section is longer than the length of a railway sleeper, at the same time, in the shelves there are identical grooves, two in each shelf of each section, which are wider in size than the width of the sole of the railway rail, and in height equal to the height of the railway rail, while the ends of each section are limited by identical inclined metal sheets in such a way that from the side of each shelf the section has the outlines of an isosceles trapezoid, in which the upper base is smaller than the lower one, differs in that all sections are movably connected to each other into a single product by means of hinges, allowing one section to deviate from another at an acute angle in such a way that the bases of all sections, when deviating from each other, remain in the same plane, as before the deviation, and one loop connects two sections pressed against each other at the place where the ends of the sections are limited by inclined sheets, while the axis of rotation of each loop is perpendicular to the plane of the base of the section, and the loops are placed in the flooring for crossing the railway track and work on the railway tracks of tracked vehicles in a checkerboard pattern: one non-extreme section of the flooring on the right is connected to the adjacent section by a loop on one side of the inclined metal sheet, on the left - on the other side, while in order to ensure the possibility of deviation of the sections from each other, the inclined metal sheets on the side of the loops have a truncation, and the maximum distance between the sections deviated from each other is less than the width of the track of the tracked vehicle.

[0011] Fig. 1 shows a top view of the flooring for crossing a railway track and working on railway tracks of tracked vehicles (hereinafter referred to as the flooring) in a folded state, which shows: pos. 1 - section; pos. 2 - loop.

[0012] Fig. 2 shows the procedure for installing the decking on a railway track, which shows: pos. 3 - decking; pos. 4 - groove; pos. 5 - rail.

[0013] Fig. 3 shows the order of laying out the decking sections, with arrows indicating the directions of movement of the ends of the sections.

[0014] The decking consists of sections 1, movably connected to each other by means of hinges 2, as shown in Fig. 1. Each section is a three-dimensional metal product in the form of a U-shaped channel, as shown in Figs. 1, 2 and 3. The base of the section, connecting the shelves facing downwards, is directed upwards and is a support for the tracks of the machines. Each section 1 is longer than the length of a railway sleeper, which protects the sleepers and other elements of the track superstructure from running into and slipping of the tracks. In the shelves of the sections, there are identical grooves 4, two in each shelf of each section 1 for installing the decking 3 on the rails 5 of the railway track. In this case, the grooves 4 have dimensions wider than the width of the base of the railway rail, and their height is equal to the height of the railway rail. The ends of each section 1 are limited by identical inclined metal sheets (Fig. 2 and Fig.3) in such a way that from the side of each shelf section 1 has the outline of an isosceles trapezoid, in which the upper base is smaller than the lower one, as shown in Fig. 2 and 3. Inclined sheets provide access for tracked vehicles onto the flooring 3.

[0015] All sections 1 are connected to each other into a single product by hinges 2, allowing one section 1 to deviate from another at an acute angle in such a way that the bases of all sections 1, when deviating from each other, remain in the same plane, as before the deviation. One hinge 2 connects two sections 1 pressed against each other at the place where the ends of the sections are limited by inclined sheets, which is reflected in Fig. 1. In this case, the axis of rotation of each hinge 2 is perpendicular to the plane of the base of section 1. The hinges are arranged in the decking 3 in a staggered order: one, not the extreme section of the decking on the right is connected to the adjacent section by a hinge on one side of the inclined metal sheet, and on the left - on the other side. Moreover, in order to ensure the possibility of deviating sections 1 from each other, the inclined metal sheets on the side of the hinges 2 have a truncation, which ensures this deviation, as shown in Fig. 1.

[0016] Deck 3 is used as follows. Each tracked vehicle, operating in conjunction with railroad tracks or performing tasks on railroad tracks (loading and unloading operations, construction and restoration work, etc.), is equipped with the proposed deck 3 in a set of two pieces (one for each track). The deck 3 is stored folded on the tracked vehicle (as shown in Fig. 1) in a location that does not interfere with and is safe for operating the tracked vehicle or performing other operations using the tracked vehicle. If it becomes necessary to move a tracked vehicle across a railway track or to perform work on the railway tracks, the person operating the tracked vehicle or another designated person from the crew (crew) of the vehicle dismantles the flooring 3 from the tracked vehicle and installs the flooring on the railway track with grooves 4 on the heads of the rails 5, as shown in Fig. 2.After this, decking 3 is manually laid out as shown by the arrows in Fig. 3, increasing the track support area. The maximum distance between sections 1, oriented away from each other, is less than the track width of the tracked vehicle for which decking 3 is intended. The tracked vehicle then drives onto the track without damaging the track superstructure, rails, sleepers, or fastenings.

[0017] After it is no longer necessary for the tracked vehicle to cross the railway track or to perform work on the railway tracks, the person operating the tracked vehicle or another designated person from the crew (crew) of the vehicle manually folds the flooring 3, pressing sections 1 against each other, and removes it to the designated place on the tracked vehicle.

[0018] The use of a track crossing deck and track work on track by tracked vehicles, as a mobile device characterized by small dimensions during their transportation, will increase the efficiency of constructing a track crossing and speed up the crossing of tracked vehicles by tracked vehicles, increase the efficiency of performing tasks by tracked vehicles on track (loading and unloading operations, construction and restoration work, etc.), maintain the integrity of the track superstructure, rails, sleepers, fastenings when performing work by tracked vehicles.
