Abstract

This utility model pertains to sports equipment and is designed for developing forearm muscles. The technical objective of this utility model is to selectively target the direct development of only the arm extensor and chest muscles by performing extensions while lying on the floor. This objective is achieved by allowing the user to fix the body in a prone position on the floor and perform extension movements using only the arms. A rubber band is used as an elastic element, which can be of varying lengths and secured with a knot to adjust the degree of physical exertion. After positioning the arm extension band on the floor, the user lies back on the platform with the handle in front of or on the chest. The handle is grasped with an overhand grip, with the arms bent at the elbows. With an extension movement of the arms, the handle is lifted upward under the resistance of the rubber band.The elastic element is a rubber band with adjustable length and a knot to adjust the intensity of the exercise. This model allows for movements limited to the muscles directly involved in arm extension in a prone position, ensuring precise muscle development. The prone arm extension expander is used in physical education, therapeutic exercise, and physical rehabilitation classes, and can also be used in sports training for young athletes beginning to learn the bench press.

[0001] The utility model is related to sports equipment and is designed to develop the muscles of the arms and chest.

[0002] A known auxiliary sports trainer for facilitating the exercise of flexion and extension of the arms from a lying position on the floor (description of the invention to the patent RU 2697489, declared on 09.01.2019, published on 14.08.2019), comprising a spring suspension system on belts. Its disadvantage is that the user uses the trainer while lying face down, and it is difficult to provide an isolated, targeted developing effect directly only on the shoulder extensor muscles and the chest muscles. Also known is a trainer for hands (description of the invention to the patent RU 2201782, declared on 07.08.2001, published on 10.04.2003), comprising body belts and gloves, which are connected to each other by rubber bands. The disadvantage of this invention is that there is no physical load on the hands and they are free, since they are in gloves.
