Abstract
Description
[0001] The utility model relates to hand-held construction tools for bricklaying and is designed for applying and leveling masonry mortar on the surface of the masonry while simultaneously forming an inter-brick seam.
[0002] A bricklaying device, patented under US20140345231A1, comprises a leveling lever and a gripping area for securing an auxiliary post, ensuring vertical and horizontal alignment of bricks. The device requires an additional support and is not intended for applying and leveling mortar directly onto the masonry surface.
[0003] Also known is a manual bricklaying device (patent RU222924U1), which contains parallel guides and crossbars with adjustable spacing between the guides. This device ensures the positioning of bricks, but is not intended for simultaneously leveling mortar and forming joints between bricks.
[0004] Known solutions do not provide for the simultaneous leveling of masonry mortar, the formation of inter-brick joints and the limitation of mortar spreading within the working area using a single device.
[0005] The technical result consists in ensuring uniform leveling of the masonry mortar and simultaneously forming an inter-brick joint when performing brickwork, as well as preventing the masonry mortar from flowing onto the facing part of the masonry.
[0006] The specified technical result is achieved in that the bricklaying device contains an elongated body, on the lower side of which a lower projection of a wave-shaped form is made, and removable end strips are installed along the ends of the body.
[0007] The lower wave-shaped projection is designed to rest against the front part of the brickwork, set the depth of the inter-brick joint and level the already formed inter-brick joint when moving the device along the surface of the masonry.
