Abstract

This utility model pertains to mechanical engineering, specifically to devices for enhancing the survivability and controllability of amphibious armored vehicles when crossing water obstacles in combat situations. The technical result is increased survivability of amphibious armored vehicles through the use of a multifunctional device that not only improves controllability but also allows for the rapid removal of water that has entered the vehicle's hull through combat damage, as standard water pumping devices are not designed or effective for this purpose.The technical result is achieved by introducing a damper into a drift compensation device comprising a tunnel, an electric motor, an angular gearbox, and impellers. The damper is secured by a keyed connection to a shaft mounted in two bearing bushings pressed into the tunnel body. A branch pipe is welded to the tunnel in the area of ​​the damper, and a damper drive is connected to the damper shaft via gears. The damper has two positions: to ensure water flow through the tunnel (stabilization mode) and to redirect the water flow from the branch pipe through the tunnel to the outside (drying mode). 2 fig.

Description

[0001] The utility model relates to mechanical engineering, namely to devices for increasing the survivability and controllability of floating armored vehicles when overcoming water obstacles in combat conditions.

[0002] Of the studied analogs, a device for compensating for the drift of a floating machine by the water current was adopted as a prototype (Patent for invention RU No. 225951 U1 IPC B60F 3 / 00, B63N 25 / 00, B63N 5 / 14 published on 05 / 14 / 2024), containing a tunnel installed in the bow below the waterline with impellers driven by an electric motor through an angular gearbox.

[0003] The disadvantage of the device for compensating for the drift of a floating vehicle by the water current is its limited functionality, since it is intended only for maneuvering and does not allow for pumping out water entering the vehicle’s hull through combat damage.

[0004] The technical result of the claimed proposal is to increase the survivability of an amphibious armored vehicle by using a multifunctional device that not only improves controllability, but also allows for the rapid pumping out of water that has entered the vehicle's hull through combat damage, since standard water pumping devices are not designed for this and are not effective.
