Abstract

This utility model relates to fruit irradiation devices and can be used in agriculture to improve crop safety by reducing the incidence of diseases in apple, pear, and other fruit during storage. The fruit irradiation device comprises radiation sources mounted on a frame with supports that are height-adjustable with screws. These sources consist of semiconductor lasers powered by a pulse generator. The pulse generator is powered from the mains. When the pulse generator is activated, the fruit continuously moves along a conveyor belt and enters the radiation zone, where it is treated with laser beams. Screws on the supports can be used to adjust the height of the irradiation device to vary the radiation intensity. This allows the radiation to penetrate deep into the fruit, enhancing immunity against various pathogens during subsequent storage.

[0001] The utility model relates to devices for irradiating fruits and can be used in agriculture to increase the safety of crops by reducing the incidence of diseases of apple, pear, and other fruits during storage.

[0002] A device for irradiating fruit is known, patented by the Russian Federation for utility model No. 103445 "Device for Irradiating Fruit" U1 IPC A23L3 / 36. It contains radiation sources mounted on a frame with openings, consisting of semiconductor lasers powered by a pulse generator. The pulse generator is powered by the tractor's power system.
