Abstract
Description
[0001] This utility model relates to the field of oilfield equipment manufacturing technology and can be used in the assembly of a flexible tubing reel.
[0002] The working drum is designed for winding and reeling in flexible tubing (hereinafter referred to as CT) during tripping operations, for supplying process fluid pumped into the well, etc. The metal spool is included with the flexible tubing drum and is designed for storing and transporting flexible tubing.
[0003] The coiled tubing drum is a spool of coiled tubing spooled onto it, mounted on a frame using supports. The drum spool is equipped with axle shafts on both sides, which are supported by bearing supports mounted in supports. The supports are mounted on the working drum frame.
[0004] Since coiled tubing reel requirements include a minimum capacity (at least 4,000 m3), compliance with injector head specifications (pulling force, pushing force), and lowering and retrieval speed requirements, a reliable clamping device, and compliance with minimum ambient temperature requirements (down to -60°C), manufacturing precision and the creation of durable welds directly impact the mechanical strength and rigidity of the product and ensure the reel's reliable operation. The strength of welded joints depends on many factors, including the design and geometry of the joint, the quality of the base and deposited metal, the perfection of the welding process (method, welder qualifications, edge preparation), and the nature of the applied loads.
[0005] The correct choice of all these parameters ensures the reliability and durability of the structure.
[0006] Furthermore, the assembly process of the reel is labor-intensive, as the reel consists of numerous parts and components that must be positioned and secured before each step of the process. For example, the spokes must be aligned before welding them to the shaft, etc. Considering the weight of the parts and components that make up the reel, this requires a significant amount of labor.
[0007] The task that the claimed utility model is aimed at solving is to simplify the process of assembling a coil, which satisfies the requirements for the reliability of the final product.
[0008] The specified technical result is achieved by ensuring the correct orientation and preliminary fixation of the coil parts before welding.
[0009] This problem is solved, and the technical result is achieved by using a device for assembling the coiled tubing drum reel, which allows the coil units and parts to be positioned in the correct orientation before the welding process.
[0010] The essence of the utility model is explained by drawings, where Fig. 1a and Fig. 1b schematically depict a device for the correct orientation of the coil parts before welding.
[0011] In Fig. 1a, the device includes:
[0012] - platform (1) with adjustable supports (2);
[0013] - I-shaped guides (3) with adjustable supports (4);
[0014] - connecting chords (5);
[0015] - brackets (7) and holes (10) located evenly around the circumference on the base of the platform (1) with fasteners for attaching the guides (3) to the platform;
[0016] - platform pad (6) for mounting the spool shaft. Pad (6) may be flush with the surface (L) of the platform base, or may be located at some distance above the platform base if it is formed by an additional part or parts mounted on the platform base (Fig. 1b). In this case, the pad is coaxial with the platform and parallel to the plane formed by the upper edges (K) of the guides (3). The diameter of pad (6) ensures the installation of a spool shaft of the corresponding diameter on the pad.
[0017] Figure 1b shows another version of the device, which includes:
[0018] - platform (1) with adjustable supports (2);
[0019] - I-shaped guides (3) with adjustable supports (4);
[0020] - T-shaped guides (13) with adjustable supports (14);
[0021] - fasteners for connecting the platform and guides.
[0022] The platform also has a platform for positioning the reel shaft. This platform is formed by the upper edges (I) of rectangular profiles (15), positioned on the platform base and rigidly secured to it. The platform's horizontal alignment is adjusted by adjusting the height of the supports (2).
[0023] The platform base is surrounded by brackets (7) for attaching I-shaped guides, as well as holes (10) for bolting T-shaped guides to the platform. The T-shaped and I-shaped guides are connected to each other by a detachable joint (11). Guides (3, 13) rest on the platform (1) and adjustable supports (4, 14), respectively. In this design, the guides are evenly distributed around the circumference, and the angles between the guides are equal.
[0024] Assembly procedure of the device before assembling the drum spool:
[0025] 1) Install the platform (1) on the supports (2) (Fig. 1b).
[0026] Set the horizontal level by adjusting the height of the supports (2).
[0027] 2) Install the I-shaped guides (3) on the platform (1) and supports (4). Fasten the guides to the platform brackets (7) with bolts. Adjust the horizontal level by adjusting the supports (4).
[0028] 3) Install the T-shaped guides (13) on the platform (1) and supports (14) (Fig. 1b). Adjust the horizontal level by adjusting the supports (14). Secure with bolts to the platform (1) and I-shaped guides (3).
[0029] Next, the process of assembling the reel itself begins on this fixture. Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 schematically depict the process of assembling the coiled tubing drum reel. In Fig. 2, the shaft (21) is installed on the platform formed by the faces I of the rectangular profiles of the fixture (30) using a lifting device, centering the position from the T-shaped guides, and the cheek (22) of the reel. H-shaped spokes (23) are placed on top of the cheek on the I-shaped guides. Since the width of the spokes (23) and guide profiles coincide, the side faces (M) of the spokes are aligned with the side faces (H) of the guides flush (Fig. 4), the spokes are placed against the shaft (21) and preliminarily tack-welded. After all the H-shaped spokes have been positioned and repeated measurements have been taken, full-fledged welded joints are made. After installing and welding the inner rings (24) and the connected segments of the upper cheek (25), U-shaped spokes (29) are installed on the T-shaped guides (Fig.3) and are also aligned along the side edges with the guides and welded to the cheek segments (25) and inner rings (24). Next, the outer rims (26) and plates (27) are welded to the spokes (U-shaped and H-shaped). Auxiliary ties (28) can also be used to increase the rigidity of the spoke structure; these are cut off after the spool is assembled.
[0030] In general, the device (30) for assembling a flexible tubing reel, having a collapsible design, characterized in that it contains a platform (1) mounted horizontally on height-adjustable supports (2), I-shaped (3) and T-shaped (13) guides, located evenly around the longitudinal axis O of the platform and connected to each other by a detachable connection (11), mounted on height-adjustable supports (4, 14) on one side and on the platform (1) on the other side, wherein the platform (1) has a base, which is made of sheet material, brackets (7) and through holes (10) for fastening the guides, located on the base of the platform evenly around the circumference around the longitudinal axis O of the platform, a platform (6) lying in the plane formed by the upper faces (I) of parts (15) made of rectangular profiles, located on the base of the platform evenly around the circumference around the longitudinal axis O of the platform, with a diameter,allowing the shaft (21) of the reel to be installed coaxially with the longitudinal axis O of the platform, while the plane of the platform (6) is parallel to the plane formed by the upper edges of the I-shaped (K) and T-shaped (P) guides,
[0031] Also possible is a design variant (Fig. 1a), in which all the guides are I-shaped, and the guides are connected to each other by chords (5), located evenly around the circumference around the longitudinal axis of the platform.
[0032] It is worth noting that the base of the platform has the shape of an equilateral polygon with an even number of angles or a circle, and the guides and chords can be made of rectangular profiles.
[0033] This coiled tubing reel assembly fixture ensures the correct orientation of the reel components before welding, simplifying the reel assembly process. Furthermore, the use of this fixture and assembly process reduces assembly time and the number of assembly workers.
