Description

[0001] The utility model relates to devices for cavitation treatment of flowing liquid media, such as, for example, alcohol-containing mixtures, fruit and dairy juices and drinks, purees, pastes, mayonnaise oil mixtures, water-fuel emulsions and suspensions, paints and varnishes, etc., and can be used in the food, processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, and other industries.

[0002] A device for circulating mixing of flowing liquid media is known, comprising a container, a first shut-off valve through which the inlet of the device is connected to the first inlet pipe of the container, a pump, a second shut-off valve through which the inlet of the pump is connected to the outlet pipe of the container, a third shut-off valve through which the outlet of the device is connected to the outlet of the pump, a fourth shut-off valve, the inlet of which is connected to the outlet of the pump [Gorbatyuk V.I. Processes and equipment for food production. - M.: Kolos, 1999. - P. 142, Fig. 5.25].

[0003] This unit cannot ensure high homogeneity of the flowing liquid medium due to the lack of cavitation treatment in it, which improves the homogeneity of the flowing liquid medium.

[0004] A cavitation unit is known, comprising a cavitation reactor with a cavitator installed in it, a diffuser and a confuser connected to the inlet and outlet of the reactor, a feed pump and pipelines [Patent RU No. 2152465. Cavitation unit. IPC D21B 1 / 36 dated 10.07.2000. Bulletin No. 19].

[0005] This unit cannot ensure high homogeneity of the flowing liquid medium due to the lack of additional capacity to control the cavitation treatment of the flowing liquid medium.

[0006] A known installation for cavitation treatment of flowing liquid media is selected as a prototype, containing two containers with inlet and outlet pipes connected to a circulation circuit including a pump, a cavitation homogenizer, and shut-off valves [Patent RU No. 2336939. Method for circulation mixing of flowing liquid media and an installation for its implementation. IPC B01F 5 / 04 dated 17 / 27 / 2008. Bulletin No. 30].

[0007] The disadvantage of the known installation for cavitation treatment of flowing liquid media is the increased energy consumption for cavitation treatment and recirculation of flowing liquid media, and the inability to ensure high homogeneity of the flowing liquid medium during its one-time passage through the cavitation homogenizer.

[0008] The utility model is based on the task of improving the installation for cavitation treatment of flowing liquid media by modernizing the design of the cavitation homogenizer block and the relative position of the containers for flowing liquid media, due to which the efficiency of processing flowing liquid media is increased and the energy intensity of the process is reduced.

[0009] The stated problem is solved in that in an installation for cavitation treatment of fluid liquid media, containing two containers with inlet and outlet pipes connected to a circulation circuit including a pump, a cavitation homogenizer, shut-off valves, according to the utility model, the cavitation homogenizer is equipped with a second cavitator installed in series with the first, wherein the pump inlet is connected through a shut-off valve to the outlet pipe of the first container, and the outlet is connected to the inlet of the cavitation homogenizer unit, the outlet of which is connected to the inlet pipe of the second container, the outlet pipe of which is connected through a shut-off valve to the inlet pipe of the first container, wherein the lower level of the second container is installed above the upper level of the first container.

[0010] Such a combination of essential features as supplying a cavitation homogenizer with a second cavitator installed in series with the first one will ensure intensification and efficiency of processing of flowing liquid media in a single pass [Dumitrash P.G., Bologa M.K., Shemyakova T.D. Preparation of highly dispersed suspensions of bentonite in a bi-frequency cavitation field. / Electronic processing of materials. 2015. No. 51(1). Pp. 85-91], and installation of the second tank above the upper level of the first tank in combination with the first essential feature will reduce the energy intensity of the process, eliminating the use of a pump for pumping liquid media from tank to tank.

[0011] Fig. 1 shows a flow chart of an installation for cavitation treatment of fluid liquid media.

[0012] The apparatus for cavitation treatment of fluid liquid media comprises a first container 1, a first shut-off valve 2 through which a fluid liquid medium to be mixed is supplied to the container 1, a pump 3, the inlet of which is connected to the outlet pipe of the container 1 through a second shut-off valve 4, a third shut-off valve 5 through which the treated fluid liquid medium is released, a fourth shut-off valve 6 through which the outlet of the pump 3 is connected to the inlet pipe of the cavitation homogenizer unit 7. The cavitation homogenizer unit 7 includes two cavitators 8 and 9 installed in series, and its outlet pipe is connected to the inlet pipe of the second container 10, wherein the lower level of the second container 10 is installed above the upper level of the first container 1. Containers 1 and 10 are connected to each other by a pipe with a shut-off valve 11.

[0013] The claimed installation for cavitation treatment of flowing liquid media operates as follows.

[0014] At the initial moment, all shut-off valves 2, 4, 5, 6, 11 are closed, pump 3 is turned off, and tank 1 is empty.

[0015] To operate the unit, open the first valve 2 and feed the fluid medium to be processed into tank 1. After tank 1 is filled with the fluid medium, close the shut-off valve 2. Open the second and fourth valves 4 and 6 and turn on the pump 3. As a result, the fluid medium is withdrawn from the bottom of tank 1 through its outlet pipe and fed to the cavitation homogenizer unit 7, where it undergoes homogenization in the cavitation mode in sequentially installed cavitators 8 and 9 and enters the upper tank 10. High homogeneity of the fluid medium is ensured by its double processing in the cavitation homogenization mode in cavitators 8 and 9 during its single pass.

[0016] After the first tank 1 is empty and the upper tank 10 is filled, pump 3 is turned off and the second valve 4 and fourth valve 6 are closed. Valve 11 is then opened, and the liquid flows by gravity from the upper tank 10 to the lower tank 1 without any energy consumption.

[0017] After analyzing the results of cavitation treatment of the fluid, it is either re-treated or drained from the unit. To drain, open valves 4 and 5 and turn on pump 3.

[0018] The unit can operate in partial mixing mode between treated and untreated liquid media. To do this, during operation as described above, open valve 11 and allow liquid to flow by gravity from the upper tank 10 to the lower tank 1. The unit can also add liquid ingredients to the treated liquid by adding them to the lower tank 1 through valve 2.

[0019] Thus, the use of the described installation allows us to expand the scope of its application, improve the quality of processing of flowing liquid media and reduce the energy intensity of the process.
