Abstract

This utility model relates to tannery equipment, specifically to a fleshing machine pressure roller, designed for the mechanical processing of hides to remove residual flesh. The technical objective of this utility model is to simplify assembly and disassembly during repairs when the fleshing machine pressure roller wears out. The technical result of this utility model is to improve the maintainability of the fleshing machine roller. This technical result is achieved by the fleshing machine pressure roller comprising a steel tube with a vulcanized rubber coating applied to its outer surface, equipped on both sides with journals fitted with bearings and splines formed on the journals, which engage with longitudinal grooves in bushings welded to the inner surface of the steel tube ends, forming a detachable splined joint.

Description

[0001] The utility model relates to equipment for leather production, in particular to a pressing roller of a fleshing machine, intended for mechanical processing of skins in order to remove the remains of the flesh layer.

[0002] It is known [1] that in a fleshing machine, the transmission of rotation to the pressure shaft of the fleshing machine is carried out using journals that are welded to the shaft before it is installed in the machine.

[0003] A disadvantage of the known design is the difficulty of repairing the fleshing machine's pressure roller when it wears out, since in the event of damage, it is necessary to replace not only the fleshing machine shaft itself, but also the journals welded to it, which leads to additional material and labor costs.

[0004] The technical objective of the utility model is to simplify the assembly and disassembly of the structure during repairs when the pressure roller of the fleshing machine wears out.

[0005] The technical result of the utility model is to increase the maintainability of the fleshing machine shaft.

[0006] The specified technical result is achieved in that the pressure shaft of the fleshing machine contains a steel pipe with a vulcanized rubber coating applied to its outer surface, equipped on both sides with journals equipped with bearings, with splines made on the journals, which engage with the longitudinal grooves of the bushings, secured by welding on the inner surface of the ends of the steel pipe, forming a detachable splined connection.

[0007] The essence of the utility model is explained by drawings, where:

[0008] Fig. 1 shows the pressure roller of the fleshing machine with a welded sleeve (main view and left view).

[0009] Fig. 2 shows a drawing of a journal equipped with bearings (main view and local view A).

[0010] Fig. 3 shows the assembly drawing of the fleshing machine pressure roller.

[0011] The pressure roller of the fleshing machine consists of a steel pipe 1 with a coating of vulcanized rubber 2 applied to its outer surface, equipped on both sides with journals 4, equipped with bearings 3, with splines made on the journals, which engage with the longitudinal grooves of the bushings 5, secured by welding on the inner surface of the ends of the steel pipe 1, forming a detachable splined connection.

[0012] The device operates as follows. In operating mode, the fleshing machine's pressure roller is mounted in the fleshing machine frame. Rotation from the drive mechanism is transmitted to journals 4, mounted in bearings 3. Thanks to the splined connection of journals 4 with bushings 5, which have longitudinal grooves, torque is transmitted to steel tube 1, ensuring synchronous rotation of the entire structure. The outer coating of vulcanized rubber 2 creates the necessary friction and uniform pressure of the processed hide against the working parts of the machine, mechanically removing any remaining flesh layer.

[0013] During operation, if the rubber coating 2 wears out or the steel pipe 1 becomes deformed, the fleshing machine shaft may require repair or replacement. The detachable splined connection of the journals 4 with the bushings 5, welded to the ends of the pipe 1, allows for easy disassembly: the journals 4 are removed from the bushings 5 without the need for welding or mechanical work to destroy the permanent connections. After repairing or replacing the steel pipe 1 with the coating 2, the journals 4 are reinserted into the bushings 5 until the splined grooves align, after which the fleshing machine shaft is reassembled in reverse order and returned to service.

[0014] This solution allows you to disconnect the journals 4 from the fleshing machine shaft when performing repair work to restore the worn surface of the fleshing machine pressure roller.
