Abstract
Description
[0001] FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY
[0002] The utility model relates to autonomous devices for cleaning vehicles, in particular, to car washes in underground parking lots.
[0003] PRIOR ART
[0004] One of the main requirements for car washes of any type is ensuring environmental safety during their operation, and in particular, the requirements for car wash wastewater treatment. The most effective car wash water supply systems are those that ensure the reuse of purified water, preventing the discharge of car wash wastewater into the sewer system.
[0005] Patent KR101399059, published May 27, 2014, IPC B60S 3 / 04, describes a car wash system comprising a car wash device and a wastewater treatment device. The treatment device comprises a settling tank, a sieve, a reaction tank, an oxygen supply tank, a condensate collection tank, an anaerobic tank, an aeration tank, a settling tank, a sludge thickener, a filter press, and a discharge unit.
[0006] Patent DE2910533, a water supply system for a car wash with a water recirculation and contaminant removal function, published September 18, 1980, IPC C02F1 / 00, B60S3 / 00. Water from the washing and rinsing stations is collected in a tray, where contaminants settle and separate. The tray is periodically emptied through a drain pipe. Cleaner water is pumped into a preparation chamber, from where it flows into the feeding chamber or mixing chamber for the car wash system. A sensor in the tray determines whether the water is clean enough for reuse or should be drained. The sensor is connected to a processor, which also controls the cleaning and refill system.
[0007] Patent RU2834524, published February 11, 2025, IPC C02F 1 / 52, B60S 3 / 04, describes the design of a wastewater treatment and water recycling unit. The unit comprises a storage tank, a pump for feeding water from the tank to a chemical reactor, a dosing pump for the coagulant working solution, a pump for feeding water to a coarse filter, and a storage tank for collecting purified water after the coarse filter. The unit also comprises a bioreactor and a storage tank. The storage tank is designed as a tray / sand trap for a multi-section polypropylene chamber and is located directly under the metal floor of the wash bay, which has a 1-degree slope, while the storage tank is located with a reverse slope of 5 degrees.
[0008] This technical solution is the closest analogue.
[0009] Despite the availability of various wastewater collection and treatment devices, there is a need for compact car wash water collection and treatment systems that eliminate the need for special site preparation. At the same time, it is essential to ensure efficient wastewater treatment for reuse in the car wash process or discharge into the sewer system.

[0021] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[0022] Fig. 1 shows a block diagram of the water supply device of a car wash.
[0023] Fig. 2 shows a diagram of a car wash.
[0024] OPTIONS FOR IMPLEMENTING A USEFUL PRAYER
[0025] The car wash water supply system (Fig. 1, Fig. 2) comprises a drain pump 1 housed in a sealed tray 2 with a sectional flooring designed to collect dirty water and also serve as a primary sedimentation tank for suspended solids. The drain pump can operate automatically. Sealed tray 2 is installed on an existing surface, which is especially important when installing a car wash in locations where it is impossible to create recesses for collecting dirty water, such as in underground parking garages.
[0026] Drainage pump 1 is connected to dirty water tank 3, which can be configured to accommodate sorption pads 11 for purifying the water of oil products. Dirty water tank 3 is configured to collect and dry the sludge accumulating therein in a bag sludge dewaterer (not shown in the figure). The outlet 5 of dirty water tank 3 is connected via the first circulation pump 4 to a hydrocyclone 5.
[0027] Hydrocyclone 5 is used for intensive water purification from large mechanical impurities. It can be equipped with a sludge dryer 12 attached to it. In addition to the dryer 12, the hydrocyclone outlet can be connected to a tray 2, which collects the separated impurities.
[0028] The outlet of the hydrocyclone 5 is connected to the purified water tank 6, the outlet of which is connected through the second circulation pump 7 to the mesh filter 8.
[0029] Tank 6, which holds purified water after the hydrocyclone, increases its efficiency by eliminating backpressure. Furthermore, the presence of this tank 6 increases the water pressure before mesh filter 8, further enhancing its efficiency. Sorption pads 11 can be additionally placed in tank 6 for additional purification of the water from oil products.
[0030] Mesh filter 8 is designed for finer water purification and can be equipped with an automatic backwash system. The outlet of mesh filter 8 is connected via magnetic transducer 13 to bulk sorption filter 9. Magnetic transducer 13 is designed to reduce the content of suspended colloidal particles in water (which bulk sorption filter 9 may not capture) by enlarging them through magnetic processing.
[0031] The bulk sorption filter 9 features automatic backwash capability and can be connected to an injector 14 for introducing a coagulant, enabling additional water purification from heavy metals, petroleum products, phenol, fluorine, and other substances, as well as reducing water color and turbidity. The outlet of the bulk sorption filter 9 is connected to an ultrafiltration unit 15, where the water is finally purified and clarified to a clear state by reducing the size of suspended particles to 0.01-0.001 µm. Furthermore, ultrafiltration eliminates protozoa, bacteria, and most viruses, preventing odor. The outlet of the ultrafiltration unit 15 is connected to a recycled water tank 10, which is then connected to vehicle wash systems.
[0032] It's important to note that the tray and all other car wash equipment (Fig. 2) are positioned on the surface of the car wash. This allows it to be installed on existing surfaces without modification, including in underground parking garages.
[0033] The car wash water supply device works as follows.
[0034] The contaminated water generated during the car wash flows into tray 2, where it is partially purified of suspended particles through settling. From tray 2, the water is automatically pumped by drainage pump 1 into dirty water tank 3. Sorption pads 11 are placed on the surface of dirty water tank 3, which absorb petroleum products without absorbing water.
[0035] The sorption capacity of one 11-mm pad is up to 9 liters of oil products. Once saturated with oil products, the pad is replaced with a new one. These pads are then disposed of. Using 11-mm pads effectively removes oils and oil products before further purification, allowing subsequent filters to operate more efficiently.
[0036] From dirty water tank 3, liquid is drawn by the first circulation pump 4 and fed to hydrocyclone 5, where mechanical impurities are removed through hydrodynamic flow swirl. This reduces suspended solids by up to 80%. The separated impurities enter sludge dryer 12 and accumulate in the sludge tank.
[0037] After the hydrocyclone 5, the water purified in it enters the purified water tank 6, where purification from oil products continues due to the placement of sorption cushions 11, and is fed by the second circulation pump 7 into the mesh filter 8.
[0038] Mesh filter 8 further purifies the water of suspended particles. An automatic vibration backwash system prevents contamination of mesh filter 8, thereby maintaining its constant functionality.
[0039] To increase water purification efficiency, a magnetic water converter (13) is installed before the next purification stage, which promotes the coagulation of suspended colloidal particles. To intensify the coagulation process, a coagulant is additionally introduced using an injector (14).
[0040] The water then enters the bulk sorption filter 9 for final purification, after which the purified water has the following parameters: no more than 30 mg / L of suspended particles and 10 mg / L of oil product content. From the bulk sorption filter, the water can be discharged into the recirculating water tank 10 or undergo further purification in the ultrafiltration unit 15.
[0041] The wastewater collected during the water treatment process from the dirty water tank 3, hydrocyclone 5, mesh filter 8, and bulk sorption filter 9 is diverted to a bag sludge dewaterer, from where it can be transported dewatered for disposal. Contaminant collection in this manner, including with sorption pads, allows for simple removal from confined spaces, particularly underground parking garages.
[0042] In the ultrafiltration unit 15, purified water can undergo final purification and be clarified to a clear state by reducing the size of suspended particles to 0.01-0.001 µm. Furthermore, ultrafiltration eliminates protozoa, bacteria, and most viruses, thereby preventing odor. The ultrafiltration unit 15 may contain hollow fiber ultrafiltration membranes or other known deep purification elements. If an ultrafiltration unit is used, the final purified water enters the recirculating water tank 10.
[0043] From the 10-return water tank, purified water is diverted to a high-pressure cleaner for a preliminary car wash. The final rinse of the car body is performed with clean tap water, which is supplied separately, for example, from the water supply.
[0044] If the car wash water supply system uses an ultrafiltration unit (15), the water from the recycled water tank (10) can be used not only for the pre-wash but also for the final wash. In this case, the final rinse of the car body with clean tap water is eliminated. This leads to significant savings in tap water, which is then used only to replenish minor leaks from the water circulation system of the car wash.
[0045] INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
[0046] A car wash water supply system, including a water treatment system, ensures the organization of water recycling, whereby purified contaminated water is subsequently used for washing cars. The quality indicators of the purified water at the outlet of the treatment system are:
