Description

[0001] This utility model relates to equipment for painting, preparatory, and drying work, primarily devices for holding and rotating parts during painting, priming, drying, or other surface treatment. The utility model can be used in auto paint shops, powder and liquid coating areas, as well as in small-scale production of metal structures and panel products.

[0002] The prior art includes rotary painting tables and "helicopter"-type stands designed to support parts to be painted on a longitudinal beam, allowing them to be rotated to a position convenient for the operator. These solutions typically comprise a support frame, stands, a rotating beam, and replaceable or adjustable supports for securing the parts.

[0003] The disadvantages of known solutions include insufficient stability when working with large-sized parts, the inconvenience of fixing the beam in intermediate angular positions, as well as insufficient versatility when placing parts of different shapes and sizes.

[0004] Devices for holding and rotating parts to be painted, used in the preparation, painting and drying of body parts of vehicles, are known from the prior art.

[0005] The IQ "Helicopter" rotating painting table is designed for painting doors, hoods, bumpers, fenders, spoilers, and other panels. It consists of a frame, a rotating workpiece, and adjustable support beams. The workpiece mounted on the table can be rotated nearly 360° and, after rotation, is locked at the desired angle using a gear wheel and a hollow rod with a pedal for releasing rotation. The design utilizes 30x1.5mm and 20x1.2mm tubular elements, and the table is equipped with wheels.

[0006] The NORDBERG S2 rotating paint booth is also known for its ability to secure dismantled automotive parts during preparation, painting, and drying. It comprises a base, a vertical stand, a rotating workpiece, a set of extensions, and six removable holders secured to the frame with special clamps. When mounted on the stand, the part can be rotated 360°. The workpiece is held in place by a stopper that can be released by pressing a pedal. The entire structure is equipped with wheels for mobility. The frame profile measures 30x30 mm.

[0007] The closest equivalent to the claimed utility model is a paint booth according to document DE 20219107 U1, which pertains to booths for painting, in particular, body parts, comprising a frame structure with an upper crossbar capable of rotation around its longitudinal axis and locking in various positions. Rod-shaped holders are secured to said crossbar by means of clamping elements, and are mounted so as to be movable both transversely and along the crossbar. This solution also includes an additional holder for small parts.

[0008] The disadvantage of the closest solution is that the rotary unit and the unit for fixing the angular position of the working crossbar are not reliable enough, as a result of which sufficiently stable retention of the painted part in a given orientation is not ensured, especially when the mass, dimensions and asymmetrical position of the part relative to the axis of rotation change.

[0009] The technical problem that the utility model is aimed at solving is the creation of a rotary painting table that ensures convenient placement of parts of various sizes, reliable fixation of the rotary beam in selected angular positions, simplification of the operator's work and increased stability of the structure.

[0010] The technical result consists in expanding the functional capabilities of the table when working with various parts, increasing the reliability of fixing the rotary unit and increasing the stability of the table during the process of painting and drying products.

[0011] The specified technical result is achieved in that the rotary painting table contains a base with spaced posts, an upper supporting crossbar installed between the posts with the possibility of rotation around its longitudinal axis, holders of the part to be painted, installed on the upper supporting crossbar with the possibility of rearranging along it and fixing, and a unit for fixing the angular position of the upper supporting crossbar, wherein the upper supporting crossbar is made as a composite of two parts, one of which is inserted into the other, and both parts of the upper supporting crossbar are made of square section profile pipes, the unit for fixing the angular position of the upper supporting crossbar contains a disk locking element with radial recesses located along its periphery, interacting with a locking element kinematically connected to a foot drive located in the lower part of one of the posts, and the foot drive is provided with a return spring, and each holder of the part to be painted contains a clamping unit made in the form of a clamp with a screw clamp that encloses the upper supporting crossbar, a transverse support element and a vertical suspension element welded to each other.

[0012] In one embodiment, the upper supporting crossbar is made of a first part 1200 mm long and a second part 800 mm long.

[0013] In one embodiment, the main power elements of the table are made of 30×30 mm profile pipes with a thickness of 2 mm.

[0014] In one embodiment, the holders of the part to be painted are made of 20×20 mm profile pipes with a thickness of 1.5 mm.

[0015] In one embodiment, the length of each holder of the part to be painted is 665 mm.

[0016] In one embodiment, the clamping unit of each holder is made in the form of a bracket made of 3 mm thick sheet metal.

[0017] In one embodiment, the screw clamp of the clamping unit is provided with a T-shaped handle.

[0018] In one embodiment, at least part of the vertical suspension elements of the holders are provided with hook-shaped ends.

[0019] In one embodiment, the central pillar, located in the middle part of the structure, is made 1020 mm long.

[0020] In one embodiment, the side posts are made 895 mm and 945 mm high, respectively.

[0021] In one embodiment, the foot drive is designed in the form of a pedal element installed with the ability to move along the rack.

[0022] In one embodiment, a turning handle is installed on the end part of the upper supporting crossbar, made in the form of two diverging beams made of profile material.

[0023] In one embodiment, the turning handle is welded to the disc locking element.

[0024] In one embodiment, the base comprises a lower longitudinal element connecting the posts.

[0025] In one embodiment, at least one of the posts is connected to the lower longitudinal element by a diagonal brace.

[0026] In one embodiment, at least one lower support is provided with wheels for moving the table.

[0027] In one embodiment, each rack is formed by several elements connected to each other, mainly by welding.

[0028] In one embodiment, the upper supporting crossbar is connected to the rack via a rotary assembly containing a disk locking element mounted at the end of the upper supporting crossbar with the possibility of joint rotation relative to the rack.

[0029] The implementation of a rotary painting table of the "helicopter" type, containing a base with spaced posts and an upper supporting crossbar installed between them with the ability to rotate around its longitudinal axis, on which holders of the part to be painted are mounted with the ability to rearrange and fix along the crossbar, as well as a unit for fixing the angular position of said crossbar, forms the basic kinematic diagram of a manipulator with one degree of freedom of rotation. This configuration allows for the placement of a part of arbitrary geometry in any angular position relative to the horizontal plane to ensure access of the painting tool to all surfaces, which directly results in the expansion of the table's functionality when working with various parts, increased reliability of the rotary unit fixation, and increased stability of the table during the process of painting and drying products, since the closed power frame of the base with two crossbar support points creates a statically determinate system that prevents the axis of rotation from beating during coating application.

[0030] The design of the upper supporting crossbar, consisting of two parts telescopically inserted into one another, both parts being made of square section profile tubes, affects the expansion of the table's functionality when working with various parts, increasing the reliability of the rotary unit's fixation and increasing the table's stability during painting and drying of products as follows: the square section of the profile eliminates the rotation of the holders relative to the longitudinal axis of the beam, ensuring a strictly vertical orientation of the suspended elements regardless of the load applied to the part, while the telescopic connection of the parts allows changing the working moment arm to balance both long body elements (sills, side members) and compact units, while maintaining the vector of application of the gravity force within the support base unchanged.

[0031] The angular position locking unit is equipped with a disc locking element with radial grooves along the periphery. This element interacts with a locking element, which is kinematically linked to a foot drive mounted at the bottom of the column. This directly impacts the table's functionality when working with various parts, increases the reliability of the rotary unit locking, and enhances the table's stability during painting and drying. Discrete locking via radial grooves eliminates the possibility of gradual angular displacement (slippage) of the crossbar under alternating loads during paint application with a pneumatic sprayer. The relocation of the control pedal to the bottom of the column ensures contactless (foot-operated) engagement and disengagement of the locking element, preventing contamination of the operator's hands and contact with the surface of the part being painted.

[0032] The addition of a return spring to the foot drive expands the table's functionality when handling various parts, improves the reliability of the rotary unit's locking, and enhances the table's stability during painting and drying. This ensures the locking element automatically locks into the nearest radial recess when the pedal is released. This technical solution improves the reliability of the rotary unit's locking by eliminating the human factor—the inability to leave the table in an unsecured position, which, if the part is eccentric, would inevitably lead to spontaneous rotation, dynamic impact, and instability of the entire structure during paint curing.

[0033] The clamping unit of each holder is designed as a bracket encircling the upper support beam and equipped with a screw clamp. Combined with a transverse support element and a vertical suspension element welded together, this creates a highly rigid connection with guaranteed tension. This expands the table's functionality when working with various parts, improves the reliability of the rotary assembly's fixation, and enhances the table's stability during painting and drying. The absence of play at the holder's attachment to the beam prevents resonant micro-oscillations of the part during its rotation and drying, maintaining a uniform distribution of the system's moment of inertia relative to the axis of rotation and preventing the overturning effect.

[0034] The specific geometric parameters of the upper support crossbar, namely the first section with a length of 1200 mm and the second section with a length of 800 mm, are designed to expand the table's functionality when working with various parts, improve the reliability of the rotary joint, and enhance the table's stability during painting and drying. The combined base and length adjustment range correspond to the average dimensions of most passenger car body repair parts (doors, bumpers, hoods). This length ratio ensures that the center of gravity of the mounted system is positioned within the projection of the support contour of the pillars when the second section is extended, which is critical for maintaining stability and preventing the loss of rigid kinematic connection in the rotary joint.

[0035] The table's main load-bearing elements are manufactured from 30x30 mm profile tubing with a 2 mm wall thickness, resulting in a sectional moment of inertia sufficient to withstand alternating bending loads without causing residual deformation. This directly translates into expanded table functionality when working with various parts, increased reliability of the rotary unit locking, and increased table stability during painting and drying. The high profile rigidity minimizes elastic deflection of the crossbar under load, maintaining the alignment of the rotary units in the bearing supports of the columns, preventing jamming or excessive friction during rotation, thereby ensuring ease of operation and maintaining a fixed angular position in the locking mode.

[0036] The production of holders for the workpiece to be painted from profile pipes of reduced cross-section 20×20 mm with a wall thickness of 1.5 mm helps to expand the functionality of the table when working with various parts, increase the reliability of fixing the rotary unit and increase the stability of the table during the process of painting and drying products, since while maintaining the necessary structural strength and resistance to fatigue bending of the cantilever part, this section minimizes the shaded area ("dead zone"), allowing for uniform application of paint and varnish material to the back side of the part without the risk of unpainted areas in the places of contact between the supporting surfaces of the holder and the part.

[0037] The installed length of each holder, 665 mm, is optimal for creating a console overhang, expanding the table's functionality when handling various parts, improving the reliability of the rotary assembly, and enhancing the table's stability during painting and drying. This dimension ensures a guaranteed clearance between the body part being painted and the upper support crossbar, eliminating the possibility of the part colliding with the rotating beam if the clamping screw is not fully tightened or if elastic deformations of the suspended element occur, maintaining the part's spatial position relative to the paint booth.

[0038] The clamping unit bracket of each holder is made of 3 mm thick sheet metal, creating a high-rigidity element against crushing, which expands the table's functionality when handling various parts, improves the reliability of the rotary assembly, and enhances the table's stability during painting and drying. The thickness of the clamp material prevents it from bending under extreme torque, which occurs when clamping a heavy part at the maximum distance from the beam axis, thereby preventing the holder from slipping along the beam and subsequently shifting the load vector on the rotary assembly.

[0039] Equipping the screw clamp of the clamping unit with a T-shaped handle makes it possible to create the necessary tightening force using the operator's muscular force without the use of additional metalworking tools, which in the context of expanding the functionality of the table when working with various parts, increasing the reliability of fixing the rotary unit and increasing the stability of the table during the process of painting and drying products allows for a quick change in the size of the part or adjustment of the balance of the system, ensuring a reliable frictional locking between the bracket and the square profile of the beam, eliminating relative displacement during table rotation.

[0040] Providing at least some of the vertical suspension elements with hook-shaped ends expands the table's functionality when handling various parts, improves the reliability of the rotary assembly, and enhances table stability during painting and drying. This suspension end design allows for the quick installation and removal of lightweight hollow parts (wings, trims) by means of flanges or holes without the use of threaded clamps, reducing table setup time and maintaining system stability through symmetrical weight distribution without introducing additional bending stress into the holder structure.

[0041] The 1020 mm long geometrical dimension of the central column determines the height of the upper support beam's pivot axis above floor level, providing expanded table functionality when handling various parts, increased reliability of the rotary assembly, and increased table stability during painting and drying. This height is selected to ensure ergonomic operator access to the part during a full 360-degree beam rotation without the bottom edge of the largest workpiece touching the floor. The center of gravity of the beam-workpiece system remains low enough to effectively dampen lateral vibrations with the support base.

[0042] The design of the side supports, 895 mm and 945 mm high respectively, provides for variable height adjustments, enhancing the table's functionality when working with various parts, improving the reliability of the rotary assembly, and increasing table stability during painting and drying. The asymmetrical height compensates for the difference in arm lengths with a composite crossbar, allowing for the overall horizontal alignment of the rotation axis at varying degrees of telescopic extension. This ensures uniform distribution of vertical force in the support bearings and prevents distortion, which could cause the locking element to bind in the disc recesses.

[0043] The foot drive, designed as a pedal element mounted movably along the column, provides a linear kinematic action on the locking element and contributes to the table's expanded functionality when working with various parts, increased reliability of the rotary assembly locking, and increased table stability during painting and drying. The pedal's linear movement along the vertical guide minimizes friction and distortion in the release mechanism, ensuring precise locking with each command, which is critical for reliable locking under constant load and in the contaminated environment of the paint shop.

[0044] A welded rotary handle, shaped like two diverging beams made of profile material, is located on the end of the upper support crossbar. This creates an effective lever to overcome the moment of inertia of a loaded table. This technical requirement expands the table's functionality when working with various parts, improves the reliability of the rotary unit, and enhances the table's stability during painting and drying. This handle allows for smooth rotation of a heavy part for inspecting the coating quality in reflected light without causing jerking motions that could cause the part to slip in the clamps or rock the entire structure.

[0045] The welded connection of the rotary handle and the disc locking element forms a monolithic control unit. Its rigidity directly expands the table's functionality when working with various parts, increases the reliability of the rotary unit's locking, and enhances the table's stability during painting and drying. This rigid, integral connection eliminates play between the operator's hand control and the disc's response, ensuring precise alignment of the radial recess with the locking element and a tight, gap-free fit of the locking element in the groove. This prevents dynamic wear of the mating surfaces and maintains angular stability throughout the entire painting and drying cycle.

[0046] The inclusion of a lower longitudinal element connecting the uprights in the base creates a closed force circuit that absorbs the bending moment from the horizontal component of gravity of the displaced part. This significantly expands the table's functionality when handling various parts, improves the reliability of the rotary unit's fixation, and enhances the table's stability during painting and drying. This element prevents the upright legs from sliding apart under load, ensuring the chassis base remains stable and, consequently, the rotation axis remains vertical, a critical factor for the uniform distribution of radial loads on the rotary unit's bearings.

[0047] The addition of at least one diagonal brace connecting the upright to the lower longitudinal member creates a triangular truss connection in the frame plane, which expands the table's functionality when handling various parts, improves the reliability of the rotary assembly, and enhances the table's stability during painting and drying. The presence of the diagonal brace greatly increases the structure's resistance to shear stresses arising from the rotation of a massive part with a high polar moment of inertia, thereby completely eliminating swinging and vibration of the upper crossbar during rotational start-up and stop.

[0048] Equipping at least one lower support with wheels for moving the table ensures mobility without compromising the clamping geometry, which expands the table's functionality when working with various parts, improves the reliability of the rotary unit, and enhances the table's stability during painting and drying. The ability to move the table with the part already secured and fixed in the rotary unit from the preparation area to the paint booth and then to the infrared drying area eliminates the need for re-locating and re-securing the part, maintaining the initially established clamping reliability and stability balance, minimizing the risk of coating defects associated with contact with uncured enamel.

[0049] Each column is constructed from multiple elements, primarily welded together, creating a one-piece structure with high isotropic rigidity. This is fundamental in expanding the table's functionality when handling various parts, improving the reliability of the rotary assembly, and enhancing the table's stability during painting and drying. The columns' all-welded construction eliminates micro-movements in the threaded connections, which are common in disassembled structures under cyclic loads, guaranteeing long-term stability of the rotation axis and, consequently, a stable gap between the disc lock and the locking element.

[0050] The connection of the upper support crossbar to the column via a rotating assembly containing a disc locking element mounted at the end of the crossbar, capable of rotating relative to the column, defines the kinematic basis of the entire manipulator. This arrangement directly expands the table's functionality when handling various parts, improves the reliability of the rotary assembly's locking, and enhances the table's stability during painting and drying. The cantilevered mounting of the disc on the crossbar shaft minimizes the bending moment applied to the locking element, relieving the locking element of the part's weight and limiting it to angular locking, greatly increasing the reliability of holding the part in a given orientation under the vibrations of a painting production facility.

[0051] The figure shows the general appearance of the rotary painting table.

[0052] A rotary "helicopter" painting table comprises a base configured to be mounted on a supporting surface and support loads from the parts being placed and the rotating workpiece. The base includes spaced-apart side posts, a lower longitudinal member connecting the posts, and lower supports. At least one lower support is equipped with wheels for moving the table. To increase structural rigidity, at least one of the posts can be connected to the lower longitudinal member by a diagonal brace.

[0053] Each post is comprised of several elements joined together to form a single rigid support structure, primarily by welding. This design ensures the required rigidity, stability, and reliable support of the loads generated when the upper support crossbar rotates and the parts being painted are placed on the holders.

[0054] The central section of the structure is home to a 1020 mm long central post. The side posts are 895 mm and 945 mm high, respectively. This difference in height is due to the design of the pivot assembly and allows for the installation and operation of the upper support crossbar in the desired position.

[0055] The upper load-bearing crossbar is installed between the uprights and can be rotated around its longitudinal axis. The upper load-bearing crossbar is composite, comprising a first part 1200 mm long and a second part 800 mm long, with one part nested within the other to form a composite telescopic joint. Both parts of the upper load-bearing crossbar are made of square-section profile tubing. This design ensures sufficient rigidity of the working section, ease of manufacture, ease of assembly, and the ability to efficiently configure the structure.

[0056] The table's main structural members, including the uprights, lower supports, and upper crossbar, are made of 30x30 mm profile tubing with a thickness of 2 mm. The holders for the painted part are made of 20x20 mm profile tubing with a thickness of 1.5 mm. This ratio ensures the necessary load-bearing capacity and structural rigidity while maintaining manufacturing efficiency.

[0057] The upper support crossbar is fitted with adjustable and securely mounted holders for the part being painted. Each holder comprises a clamping unit, a transverse support element, and a vertical suspension element. The transverse support element and vertical suspension element are welded together, creating a rigid spatial structure capable of supporting the loads from the part being painted without changing the relative positions of these elements.

[0058] The length of each paintable part holder is 665 mm. At least some of the vertical hanging elements are equipped with hook-shaped ends, ensuring convenient hanging of the part and reducing the risk of slipping.

[0059] The clamping unit of each holder is designed as a bracket that encircles the upper support bar. This bracket is made of 3 mm thick sheet metal. The bracket has a curved shape and encircles the upper support bar from above. A screw clamp with a T-handle is installed on the clamping unit. When the T-handle is rotated, the screw clamp presses the clamping unit against the upper support bar and secures the holder in the desired position along the bar. The 3 mm thick bracket increases the rigidity of the clamping unit and ensures secure attachment of the holder to the upper support bar.

[0060] The upper load-bearing crossbar is connected to the post via a pivot assembly. Said pivot assembly is located at the top of one of the posts and allows the upper load-bearing crossbar to rotate around its longitudinal axis. A disc-type locking element is mounted at the end of the upper load-bearing crossbar and is connected to said crossbar so that it can rotate relative to the post. Preferably, the connection point for the upper load-bearing crossbar is located in the central portion of the disc-type locking element.

[0061] The disc locking element contains radial recesses along its periphery, creating a set of fixed angular positions. A locking element interacts with this disc locking element. The locking element is kinematically connected to a foot control located at the bottom of one of the posts. The foot control is a pedal element mounted for movement along the post and is equipped with a return spring.

[0062] When the foot control is pressed, the locking element disengages from one of the radial recesses of the disc locking element, allowing the upper support crossbar to rotate. After the foot control is released, the return spring returns it to its original position, at which point the locking element reengages with the next radial recess of the disc locking element, locking the upper support crossbar in its new angular position. This design ensures secure, step-by-step locking of the rotating working part and improves ease of use.

[0063] A rotation handle, shaped like two diverging beams made of profile material, is mounted on the end of the upper support crossbar. The handle is welded to a disc locking element, ensuring the combined rotation of the handle and the disc locking element, as well as reliable transmission of torque from the operator to the upper support crossbar.

[0064] During operation, the required number of holders are placed on the upper support crossbar, sliding them along the crossbar and securing them with screw clamps in positions appropriate to the shape, weight, and size of the part being painted. The part is suspended or mounted on the holders. To change the part's orientation, the operator presses the foot control, disengaging the locking element from the disc locking element. Then, turning the upper support crossbar using the rotation handle, releases the foot control once the desired position is reached. The return spring re-locks the rotating working part.

[0065] Thus, the claimed technical solution ensures reliable fixation of the rotating working part, ease of changing the orientation of the part being painted, the ability to adapt the device to parts of various shapes and sizes, as well as sufficient rigidity and stability of the structure.

[0066] The utility model is industrially applicable, since it can be manufactured from standard rolled metal, profile pipes, sheet metal, fasteners, springs and wheel supports using known technological operations of cutting, drilling, bending and welding.

[0067] The rotary "helicopter" painting table is a device for positioning, holding, hanging, and rotating parts to be painted during surface preparation, paint application, and drying. The table is constructed primarily of metal profile elements and includes a base, supports, an upper rotating support crossbar, a rotation and locking unit, a rotation handle, a foot-operated release mechanism, and a set of adjustable holders for the part to be painted.

[0068] The table base is formed by lower support elements that support the load of the entire structure and the components placed upon it. The base is spatially spaced, with the supports spaced lengthwise and widthwise, ensuring stability when suspending components with asymmetrical mass relative to the pivot axis. In one embodiment, the base includes a front lower cross support, a rear lower cross support, and a lower longitudinal element connecting the uprights. These elements are made of square tubing, preferably 30x30 mm with a wall thickness of 2 mm.

[0069] The front lower crossbar is located near the front post and oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis of the device. Its ends extend laterally relative to the post, forming a support base. Similarly, the rear lower crossbar is located near the rear of the structure. At least one of the lower crossbars is equipped with wheels. The wheels are mounted at the ends of the corresponding crossbar, symmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis of the device, and serve to roll the table along the supporting surface. The wheel assemblies can be axial rollers mounted at the ends of a tubular crossbar using bolted or axial fastening.

[0070] The side posts are located at the ends of the device and form the main supporting elements on which the upper pivoting load-bearing crossbar is mounted. Each post is not a single piece, but rather composed of several elements connected to form a single rigid system. Specifically, each post includes a vertical load-bearing element, a lower support section, and, for at least one post, an inclined connecting element. These elements are connected primarily by welding. This design allows for the formation of a rigid spatial frame with a minimum number of detachable joints and sufficient resistance to torsion and bending.

[0071] The front side post is made of a vertically oriented square section. At its bottom, this vertical member is connected to the lower crossbar. This connection can be welded, with the vertical member located in the middle of the crossbar and welded to its upper surface or to a specially designed mounting area. The upper portion of the front post houses the mounting point for the rotating crossbar. Additionally, the front post is equipped with a foot control mechanism running along its length.

[0072] The rear pillar also includes a vertical member made of square tubing. To increase spatial rigidity, the rear pillar is connected to the lower longitudinal member via an inclined diagonal brace. The diagonal brace is made of square tubing and is attached at one end to the middle or upper portion of the pillar, and at the other end to the lower longitudinal member. This creates a triangular force structure, preventing the structure from swaying when the supporting crossbar rotates and when under load from the component. All of these elements are preferably made of 30x30 mm profile with a thickness of 2 mm.

[0073] The lower longitudinal member is located between the uprights along the longitudinal axis of the device and connects the front and rear sections of the base. This member absorbs longitudinal forces, stabilizes the relative position of the uprights, and serves as a base for attaching the inclined braces. In a typical design, the lower longitudinal member is located below the midsection of the uprights and is connected to them by welding or by bolting through embedded plates. The photo also shows a transverse brace connecting one of the uprights to the lower longitudinal member, which further increases rigidity.

[0074] The central section of the device features a 1020 mm long central post. It is located under the upper support crossbar and serves as an additional support element to support the loads from the central area of the rotating section. The central post is made of square tubing and is connected at its lower end to the bottom of the frame, while its upper end is located near the upper crossbar. The central post can be welded to the lower longitudinal member or to the intermediate crossbar of the base. The presence of the central post reduces structural deflection and increases the stability of the device when supporting heavy or long parts.

[0075] The upper support crossbar is the working, rotating part of the device. It is mounted between the uprights and can rotate around its longitudinal axis. The upper crossbar is composite, consisting of a first part 1200 mm long and a second part 800 mm long. Both parts are made of square-section profile tubing. One part is inserted into the other, forming a telescopic joint. In one embodiment, the outer part has a larger internal dimension, and the inner part has a smaller external dimension, allowing it to be inserted into the cavity of the outer part with sufficient clearance for assembly and alignment of the components. This design eliminates mutual rotation of the parts due to the square profile shape and simultaneously simplifies manufacturing, transportation, and assembly.

[0076] The telescopic connection of the upper crossbar sections can be designed with mutual overlapping lengths, ensuring reliable transmission of bending and torque. The sections can be secured to each other by welding, bolting, pinning, or other means. The photographs show a design in which the working crossbar forms a single longitudinal rotating beam, passing through several holders and a rotating assembly.

[0077] The upper support crossbar is attached to the front post via a pivot joint. This joint provides support for the crossbar and allows it to rotate around its longitudinal axis. A disc locking element is mounted at the end of the upper crossbar. The disc locking element is designed as a round plate of significant thickness or as a disk with a side wall, forming a volumetric drum. A series of radially oriented recesses, grooves, or toothed depressions are formed along the periphery of the disc locking element. These recesses create a plurality of fixed angular positions in which the pivoting crossbar can be secured.

[0078] The central portion of the disc locking element is rigidly connected to the end of the upper support crossbar. This connection can be achieved by welding the disc to the end of the crossbar via a coupling sleeve, sleeve, support plate, or directly through a welded central unit. The photographs show that the end of the crossbar is inserted into a cylindrical or box-shaped part connected to the disc and secured by bolting or welding. The upper support crossbar and the disc locking element form a single rotating unit.

[0079] The swivel assembly itself is mounted on the front pillar. A support section is provided on the pillar side, through which the swivel assembly is held relative to the pillar, allowing for rotation. This can be an axial connection, a bushing connection, a pin connection, an axle connection, or another hinged joint. Preferably, the axis of rotation coincides with the longitudinal axis of the upper support crossbar, allowing the holders and the suspended part to change their angular position during rotation without changing their longitudinal position.

[0080] The rotation handle is located on the outer side of the front pillar near the rotation unit. The handle is double-beamed and consists of two profiled elements radiating outward from a central area. Each handle beam is made of a profiled tube, primarily square in cross-section. The beams are connected to each other at the junction with the disc locking element and welded to it. This allows the handle and disc locking element to rotate together. The double-beam configuration allows the operator to apply force to the handle in a comfortable position and smoothly move the upper crossbar from one angular position to another.

[0081] The locking element of the locking unit is located in the engagement zone with the peripheral recesses of the disc locking element. It is designed to engage one of the recesses and prevent the disc from rotating spontaneously. Based on its design and the presence of a foot mechanism, the locking element can be described as a spring-loaded detent, moving in the direction of disengagement. The detent is kinematically connected to a foot actuator located along the A-pillar.

[0082] The foot actuator is designed as an elongated rod or tie rod oriented along the front pillar. The lower portion of this element is connected to a foot pedal. The pedal is a loop-shaped element made of a metal strip or rod, bent to form a closed or partially closed support surface for the operator's foot. The pedal is secured to the lower portion of the front pillar and is mounted for movement, preferably longitudinally along the pillar or pivoting relative to the lower hinge. The upper portion of the tie rod is connected to a locking element. When the pedal is pressed, the tie rod moves and disengages the locking element from the disc locking element.

[0083] A return spring is used to automatically return the foot control and stopper to their original locking position. The spring is located outside the front pillar and oriented along it. One end of the spring is connected to the movable element of the foot control, and the other to the fixed section of the pillar or a bracket attached to it. In the photo, the spring is located in the middle lower part of the pillar and secured between the fixed section and the movable rod. Under the action of the spring, after the pedal is released, the foot control returns upward, and the stopper reenters the nearest recess in the disc locking element.

[0084] The upper support crossbar contains holders for the part to be painted. The holders are mounted so they can slide along the crossbar and then lock into place. The number of holders may vary depending on the size of the part. Each holder is an assembly unit consisting of a clamping unit, a cross support element, and a vertical suspension element.

[0085] The clamping unit of each holder is made in the form of an enclosing bracket made of 3 mm thick sheet metal. The bracket has a curved U- or omega-shaped form and encircles the top and sides of the supporting crossbar. The bracket's configuration ensures it encircles the square profile of the top crossbar and allows movement along it. The lower portion of the bracket can be configured with straight sections that limit its lateral movement and create support surfaces for attaching the supporting elements of the holder. In one of the photos, you can see that the bracket encircles the crossbar, and below it, a box-shaped or frame-like section forms an additional guide to hold the holder in the correct orientation.

[0086] A screw clamp is installed at the top of the clamp. The clamp consists of a threaded rod and a T-handle. The threaded rod passes through a threaded hole or a welded nut at the top of the clamp. The lower end of the rod, when rotated, rests against the surface of the upper support crossbar or an auxiliary clamping pad. By rotating the T-handle, the operator moves the threaded rod downward, creating clamping force and securing the clamp at the selected location along the crossbar. The manual screw clamp allows for repeated adjustment of the clamps without the use of separate tools.

[0087] The crossbar support element of the holder is made of a profile tube, preferably 20x20 mm square with a wall thickness of 1.5 mm. The crossbar is oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis of the upper crossbar and extends away from it. On different holders, the crossbars can be oriented in different directions, depending on the configuration of the workpiece being held. The crossbar length is selected to ensure sufficient support point overhang from the pivot axis and the ability to secure workpieces of varying widths.

[0088] The vertical suspension element of each holder is also made of 20x20 mm profile tubing with a thickness of 1.5 mm and welded to the cross support element. The cross and vertical elements are connected by welding, forming a rigid L-shaped or T-shaped joint. Depending on the specific holder configuration, the vertical element can be directed downward or upward. In some holders, the vertical element is located below the cross element and is designed to suspend the workpiece from below or to provide a stop. In other designs, the element can be directed upward and serve as a stop, suspension, or limiter.

[0089] The length of each workpiece holder is 665 mm. The length of the holder in this case refers to the total size of its working cantilever portion or the distance between the extreme points of the transverse and vertical elements in a given configuration. Some of the vertical suspension elements are equipped with hook-shaped ends. The hook-shaped end is formed by bending a round or other rod and points outward or upward, allowing it to engage holes, edges, protrusions, or other areas of the workpiece. The photo also shows versions of the holder in which a transverse cylindrical rod is welded to the top of the vertical element, forming a T-shaped head. This configuration can be used as a support, spacer, or for holding the workpiece by its holes.

[0090] Therefore, a set of holders may include several variations. The first variation is a holder with a horizontal crossbar and a vertical downward-facing member, the lower end of which is equipped with a hook. The second variation is a holder with an upward-facing vertical member and an upper crossbar cylindrical pin or rod. The third variation is a holder with a long vertical member and an intermediate crossbar, allowing for supporting extended workpieces. All these holders share a common clamping unit for mounting on the upper support crossbar and a rigid welded connection between the workpieces.

[0091] The device assembly method can be as follows. First, the base, uprights, and braces are cut to size from profile pipes. The base and uprights are then joined together, typically by welding, to form a spatial frame. Next, a composite upper support crossbar is fabricated by inserting one profile pipe into another and securing them relative to each other. A swivel assembly and a disc locking element are mounted at the end of the crossbar. A double-beam handle is welded to the disc locking element. The swivel assembly is then mounted on the front upright, allowing rotation. Next, the locking mechanism, foot actuator, and return spring are installed. The holders are fabricated separately by forming brackets from 3 mm thick sheet metal, welding or fastening the working elements made from profile pipe to them, and installing screw clamps with T-shaped handles. After assembly, the holders are placed on the top crossbar and fixed in the required places.

[0092] The device operates as follows. The required number of holders are installed on the upper support crossbar. Each holder is loosened by rotating the T-handle, moved along the crossbar to the desired position, and then secured by tightening the screw clamp. After the holders are positioned, the part to be painted is hung or mounted on them. To change the spatial position of the part, the operator presses the pedal with their foot, causing the foot drive to move the locking element and disengage it from the radial recess of the disc locking element. After unlocking, the operator operates the double-beam handle and rotates the upper support crossbar, along with the holders and the part, around its longitudinal axis. When the desired position is reached, the pedal is released. Under the action of the return spring, the locking element moves back and engages the nearest radial recess of the disc locking element, securing the crossbar in its new position.Next, painting, drying, or other surface treatment operations are performed.

[0093] The rotating top crossbar, adjustable holders, and step-by-step foot-operated clamping unit allow the operator to quickly reposition the workpiece without removing it from the device. A composite square crossbar ensures rigidity and maintains the orientation of the holders. 3mm thick bracket clamping units ensure secure attachment of the holders to the crossbar. A welded spatial frame with uprights, braces, and lower supports ensures stability during operation.

[0094] The utility model can be made in various versions, differing in the number of holders, the length and configuration of the working elements, the number of wheels, the method of fixing the components of the upper crossbar and other particular features, without going beyond the essence of the claimed technical solution.
