Abstract
Description
[0001] The utility model relates to devices for supplying internal combustion engines with gaseous fuel, namely to the design of a system for refueling gas cylinder equipment for a vehicle.
[0002] A device is known for filling cylinders with compressed gas, comprising a shut-off valve and an electric contact pressure gauge connected to a high-pressure line, a filling hose with a connector for cylinders, a check valve and a three-way valve, wherein the shut-off valve is provided with a drain valve connected to a low-pressure line, and the filling hose is provided with a ball valve installed in front of the check valve in the direction of flow, and a relief valve located behind the check valve in front of the cylinder connector (see patent RU No. 2189522, IPC F17C 5 / 06, published 09.20.2002).
[0003] A gas cylinder system for internal combustion engines is known, comprising a gas cylinder for storing gas fuel, with a shut-off valve located in the neck of the cylinder, connected to a filling device, and containing a gas filter, a pressure reducer, a filling device, which is made remote and adapted for mounting on the body of a vehicle and for connection to a low-pressure gas filling compressor station, connected in series by a gas pipeline, wherein the filling device includes a first shut-off valve, in addition, the gas cylinder system for internal combustion engines is provided with an additional filling device, adapted for connection to a high-pressure gas filling compressor station (see patent RU No. 123844, IPC F02M 21 / 00, published 10.01.2013).
[0004] The disadvantage of known technical solutions is the problem of the layout of the gas cylinder equipment elements and the laying of new gas pipe routes for each car model.
[0005] The closest to the claimed technical solution in terms of the set of essential features is a system for filling gas cylinder equipment, containing a filling unit consisting of a pressure gauge tee, which is connected by means of gas tubes to a filling pressure gauge, a filling device and a main engine heating valve connected to a high-pressure reducer for a heater (HPR), a high-pressure gas filter with a sensor connected to a high-pressure reducer for an engine, a low-pressure gas hose, coolant hoses used to heat the reducer for the HPR, wherein the elements of the system form a single filling module located in a box having a lid, which is placed on a frame using a bracket (see patent RU No. 175181, IPC F02M 21 / 00, B67D 7 / 00, F17C 5 / 00, published. 24.11.2017).
[0006] The disadvantage of the prototype is that its design is within the overall framework of the box, which leads to labor-intensive subassembly of the unit and requires space to locate the box between the cabin and the flatbed or dump truck unit.
[0007] The task that the proposed technical solution is aimed at solving is to simplify the layout work on the location of the main elements of the gas cylinder filling device on gas vehicles.
[0008] The said technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the device for filling gas cylinder equipment, comprising a filling unit consisting of a pressure gauge, which is connected by a tee and gas pipes to the filling device and the main valve, a high-pressure gas filter connected to a high-pressure reducer, a low-pressure gas hose, coolant hoses serving to heat the reducer, wherein the elements of the device form a single filling module secured to the frame by means of a bracket, the filling unit, high-pressure reducer and high-pressure filter are located on a separate bracket fixed to the frame near the cylinder cassette, and are protected with the cylinders by a single protective casing. In addition, the main valve is designed as a ball valve, and the bracket is made prefabricated, consisting of additional brackets and a clamp for fixing the filling elements.
[0009] The combination of distinctive features, which consists of the fact that the filling unit, high-pressure reducer and high-pressure filter are located on a separate bracket fixed to the vehicle frame next to the cylinder cassette, and are protected with the cylinders by a single protective casing, allows for simplified assembly work due to the reduction in the dimensions of the device, ensured by the compact placement of the elements.
[0010] As a result of the search conducted in patent and other scientific and technical literature, no analogue was found that matches the claimed technical solution in terms of the entire set of essential features.
[0011] The claimed technical solution is explained by drawings, which depict:
[0012] Fig. 1 - device for filling gas cylinder equipment, general view from the front;
[0013] Fig. 2 - the same, general view from behind;
[0014] Fig. 3 - assembly bracket, general view;
[0015] Fig. 4 - gas heating pipe bracket, general view;
[0016] Fig. 5 - example of the location of the device for filling gas cylinder equipment with a cylinder cassette;
[0017] Fig. 6 - gas cylinder equipment filling device, assembled view with cylinder cassette in protective casing.
[0018] The device for filling gas cylinder equipment (hereinafter referred to as LPG) comprises a filling unit consisting of a pressure gauge 1, a filling device 2 and a main valve made in the form of a ball valve 3, a high-pressure gas filter 4, a high-pressure reducer 5, a low-pressure gas hose 6, and coolant hoses 7 (Fig. 1). The elements of the device form a single filling module secured to the vehicle frame using a prefabricated bracket 8 (Fig. 2).
[0019] The assembled bracket 8 consists of a curved pipe 9 of a round cross-section, to which a shaped bracket 10 made of sheet metal is welded by welding (Fig. 3). A clamp 11 is secured to the bracket 10 by welding, which is designed to fix a rigid fuel line 12 (hereinafter referred to as gas pipes) to the bracket 8. The main elements of the LPG filling device are placed and secured on the assembled bracket 8: a filling unit, a high-pressure reducer and a high-pressure filter. The free end of the pipe 9 of the assembled bracket 8 is installed and secured by means of a pin 13 with a cotter pin 14 in a holder 15, with the help of which the bracket 8 is secured to the frame (not shown) of the vehicle by means of bolts 16 and nuts 17.
[0020] The pressure gauge 1 is connected via a tee 18 and gas pipes 12 to the filling device 2 and the ball valve 3. Flexible hoses 7 for cooling liquid, which serve to heat the reducer, are connected to the high-pressure reducer 5. A gas heating pipe 19, which is connected via tees 20 to the ball valve 3 and the high-pressure filter 4, serves to heat the gas inside the gas pipes 12, also using cooling liquid. A shaped bracket 21 (Fig. 2, 4) is provided to fix the gas heating pipe 19 and the low-pressure gas hose 6, secured with a bolted connection on the holder 15.
[0021] The gas cylinder equipment filling device operates as follows.
[0022] To fill gas cylinders, insert the gas nozzle into filling device 2, such as type NGV2. The gas then flows through tee 18, which contains nipple 22 and pressure gauge 1, which displays the gas pressure in the system during filling and operation. The gas then flows through gas line 12 to tee 23, which divides it into two directions. One direction of the gas flow is filled into the gas cylinders installed on the vehicle (pipeline not shown), while the other direction of the gas flow goes through gas line 12 to ball valve 3.
[0023] When refueling gas cylinders, ball valve 3 is closed for safety reasons. Similarly, when the engine is running and not refueling, ball valve 3 is open.
[0024] When supplied from cylinders, gas, on its way to the engine, passes through tee 23 and open ball valve 3, enters gas heating pipe 19 into high-pressure filter 4. The purified gas then enters high-pressure gas reducer 5 with a built-in pressure sensor to supply the engine. The reducer reduces high gas pressure and maintains a constant output pressure, even if the pressure in the cylinder drops as gas is consumed. After the pressure from reducer 5 decreases, the gas enters the engine's low-pressure gas filter (not shown) through flexible low-pressure hose 6 (not shown), after which it flows to the engine.
[0025] The compact size and size of the LPG filling device allow it to be installed directly next to the cassette module 24 on the vehicle frame (Fig. 5). Furthermore, the filling device can be placed on either the left or right side of the vehicle (Fig. 6). The installation of a single protective cover 25 protects the LPG filling device and the cassette module from the negative effects of precipitation and moisture, simplifying and speeding up assembly at the factory and giving the vehicle an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
[0026] The technical solution allows to simplify the layout work on the location of the main elements of the LPG filling device on gas vehicles, reducing the time for filling and servicing the unit.
[0027] The claimed device also allows for the fulfillment of the requirements of UN Regulation No. 110 regarding the placement and fastening of the gas cylinder equipment filling system on a vehicle that meets the conditions for absorbing loads without causing damage.
[0028] The proposed design of the gas cylinder filling device meets the conditions of industrial applicability and can be manufactured on standard equipment using previously developed technologies.
