Abstract

This utility model relates to household wet cleaning devices, specifically floor mops, and can be used for cleaning floors. The technical result consists of expanded functionality, namely, a secure attachment of the mop to the handle, allowing for increased pressure on the tool for more efficient operation. The mop base, designed as a housing containing a collet, comprises a threaded nut capable of being secured to the collet, and a clip capable of being secured to the collet, containing a pin for securing the mop handle within the collet. The collet is threaded on the outside.

[0001] The utility model relates to household devices for wet cleaning of premises, in particular to mops for cleaning floors, and can be used for washing floors.

[0002] A device for washing floors is known, comprising a base and a handle, wherein the base is provided with symmetrical stiffening ribs in the shape of a triangle, a socket for the handle, located in the middle part of the base between the stiffening ribs, and the device is additionally provided with an external element for pressing a rag, wherein the external element is a loop in the shape of an ellipse, and when the rag is stretched, it presses it to the base, resting on the inclined edge of the symmetrical stiffening ribs (patent for utility model RU 200838 U1, published on 11 / 13 / 2020).

[0003] The disadvantages of the well-known floor cleaning device include the complexity of the design and the need for a large number of manipulations during operation, which in turn complicates the cleaning process and reduces the reliability of the tool.

[0004] A mop is known, characterized in that it contains a handle, on the end of which a cleaning nozzle is hingedly attached, a sleeve put on the handle, a pressing element consisting of two parts, and a rod mounted on the handle and connected with the upper end to the sleeve, and with the lower end to parts of the pressing element, wherein the connection of the rod with the parts of the pressing element is made movable with the possibility of folding the parts of the pressing element when raising the sleeve upward and unfolding them with installation on the cleaning nozzle when lowering the sleeve downward (patent for utility model RU 166406 U1, published 20.11.2016).

[0005] The main disadvantage of the well-known mop is the presence of a hinge joint, which is a quickly wearing unit.

[0006] The closest technical solution is a holder for cleaning attachments, consisting of a collet on a rotating mechanism attached to the upper part of the cleaning plate, on which a pedal for folding the cleaning plate is located, while at both ends of the upper part of the cleaning plate there are additional support strips for threading and U-shaped clamping clamps for the mop “tongue”, in addition, on the lower part of the cleaning plate there are grooves for contact tapes (patent for utility model 184762 U1, published on 08.11.2018).

[0007] The disadvantages of the closest analogue, as well as well-known floor cleaning devices, are the presence of a large number of moving joints, which overall complicates their design.

[0008] The technical problem addressed by the claimed utility model is the creation of a more efficient and easy-to-use mop design, as well as the expansion of its technical capabilities. Furthermore, the claimed mop base reduces labor costs during operation and expands its functionality by allowing the use of any type of cleaning material.

[0009] The technical result of the claimed utility model consists in expanding the functional capabilities, namely in ensuring a secure attachment of the mop to the handle, which allows for increasing the pressing force on the tool for more efficient work.

[0010] The technical result is achieved in that the base of the mop, made in the form of a housing containing a collet clamp, according to the utility model, contains a threaded nut made with the possibility of fixing on the collet clamp and a clip made with the possibility of fixing on the collet clamp, containing a pin for fixing the mop handle inside the collet clamp, wherein the collet clamp is made with a thread on the outer side.

[0011] The technical problem was solved by developing a mop base based on making the mop base as a single unit with a collet clamp and supplementing it with a fixing clip for a tighter fixation of the handle (handle) of the mop in the collet clamp.

[0012] This utility model is illustrated by images (Figs. 1-3), the example of the mop base embodiment in which, however, is not the only possible one, but clearly demonstrates the possibility of achieving the claimed technical result. At the same time, the given examples of the implementation of the claimed utility model do not limit the possibilities of its implementation and are not exhaustive. Fig. 1 shows a general view of the mop base with a partial section of the collet clamp, Fig. 2 is a front view of the mop base, and Fig. 3 is a side view of the mop base.

[0013] According to the utility model, the base of the mop is made in the form of a housing 1 containing a collet clamp 2 with a thread on the outer side (Fig. 1). The housing 1 with the collet clamp 2 are made as a single unit, monolithically without any adapters or hinge joints. The base of the mop also contains a threaded nut 3 configured to be fixed on the collet clamp 2 and a clip 4 configured to be fixed on the threaded collet clamp 2 (Figs. 1-3). Clip 4 contains a pin 5 for fixing the mop handle inside the threaded collet clamp 2 (Fig. 1).

[0015] The mop base is cast. Each part is cast separately. To use the tool, attach the mop base to the universal aluminum handle. Insert clip 4 into the mounting hole. Then tighten threaded nut 3 of collet chuck 2. The tool is ready for use. Thanks to collet chuck 2 and retaining clip 4, the tool is significantly more reliable than existing alternatives.

A mop base made in the form of a housing containing a collet clamp, characterized in that it contains a threaded nut configured to be fixed on the collet clamp and a clip configured to be fixed on the collet clamp, containing a pin for fixing the mop handle inside the collet clamp, wherein the collet clamp is made with a thread on the outer side.
