Abstract
Description
[0001] Field of technology to which the utility model belongs
[0002] The utility model relates to the field of decameter (DCM) radio communication and can be used to assess the timeliness of message transmission in conditions of small-scale ionospheric formations.
[0003] Technology Level
[0004] Analysis of the propagation conditions of decameter-range radio waves in the ionosphere shows that the reliability and timeliness of message transmission significantly depend on the state of the ionized environment, particularly on the occurrence of ionospheric formations [1-3]. Under conditions of pronounced diffuseness, the signal is a superposition of multiple components with similar amplitudes and phases, making the channel particularly sensitive to rapid fading. Consequently, the probability of timely message transmission in a decameter-range radio link is closely related to the current level of ionospheric diffuseness, since it determines the degree of temporal signal smearing and the depth of fading [4].Thus, forecasting and assessing the probability of timely transmission in DCM radio channels requires a detailed consideration of the dynamics of small-scale ionospheric irregularities and their influence on the temporal structure of the signal, since it is these parameters that determine the channel's maximum capabilities to ensure a given delay in message delivery, i.e., ensuring the timeliness of message transmission.

[0010] The disadvantage of this device is its limited functionality, since it only allows calculating the reliability of communication in the DCM range, when transmitting signals with multiple (multi-position) modulation, and does not evaluate the timeliness of message transmission under conditions of frequency-selective fading and intersymbol interference.
[0011] Disclosure of the essence of the utility model
[0012] The technical result of the utility model is the development of a device for determining the timeliness of message transmission in decameter radio lines during ionospheric disturbances, taking into account the occurrence of frequency-selective fading and intersymbol interference.
[0013] The technical result of the claimed utility model is achieved by introducing new (in relation to the prototype) functional elements, namely: a block for estimating the probability of timely transmission of messages, a block for determining the coherence band of the DCM radio channel, a block for determining the diffraction parameter, a block for determining energy losses due to frequency-selective fading and intersymbol interference.
[0014] The device for determining the timeliness of message transmission in decameter radio links under small-scale ionospheric formations does not include a unit for determining the modulation ratio and type, or a unit for determining the error probability during diversity reception.
