Abstract
Description
[0001] The utility model relates to furniture production and can be used in the manufacture of transformable upholstered furniture items, in particular sofa beds and chair beds.
[0002] A transformation mechanism is known, consisting of two transforming mechanisms that are mirror images, a synchronizer for the transforming mechanisms, locking devices for the transforming mechanisms in the folded and unfolded positions, and load compensators. Each transforming mechanism includes a mounting bar attached to the supporting elements of the transforming structure and two links equipped with hinged joints located at the vertices of the triangles, which connect the mounting bar to the base of the first berth section and the base of the second berth section. The straight line between the axes of the hinge joints of both links with the bases of the first section of the transformable berth and, respectively, with the fastening bar, the straight line between the axes of the hinge joints of the first link with the base of the first section and the fastening bar, and the straight line between the axes of the hinge joints of the second link with the base of the first section and the fastening bar constitute one parallelogram. The straight lines between the axes of the hinge joints of both links with the bases of the second section of the transformable berth and, respectively, with the fastening bar, the straight line between the axes of the hinge joints of the first link with the base of the second section and the fastening bar, and the straight line between the axes of the hinge joints of the second link with the base of the second section and the fastening bar constitute another parallelogram. The links are made with a bend, the cross-section of which is perpendicular to the straight line between the hinge joints of the link with the fastening bar and with the base of the first section. The bending value is equal to or greater than the thickness of the lever of the articulated lever mechanism [RU 2340269, A47C 17 / 13, A47C 17 / 20, A47C 17 / 22 published 10.12.2008].
[0003] The disadvantage of the transformation mechanism is the limitation of the size of the sleeping area, which creates discomfort for lying down and reduces the ergonomics of the furniture; the sleeping area is limited by the length of the transformation mechanism.
[0004] A transformation mechanism is known comprising two articulated multi-link mechanisms connected by a beam, each consisting of a support link, an upper intermediate link, and a lower platform link for attachment to berths. The platform links are interconnected by two pivoting links formed as angular levers, each of which is pivotally connected by the angular portion of the short arm to the support link, by the end section of the arm to the lower platform link, and by the middle arm to the intermediate platform link. The end sections of the long arm of each angular lever are pivotally connected to the upper platform link. The mechanism may additionally be equipped with a support for the intermediate platform link and a support roller mounted on the lower platform link. The unloading device is made primarily in the form of an extension spring connected to the short arm of the rotary link [WO 2013162410, A47C 17 / 13, published 10 / 31 / 2013].
[0005] A disadvantage of the upholstered furniture transformation mechanism is its poor ergonomics: the product cannot be used in small spaces because it cannot be folded compactly. When unfolded, the transformation mechanism cannot be folded compactly, allowing for the entire sleeping area to be used.
[0006] The closest mechanism in technical essence and achieved effect is a mechanism for transforming upholstered furniture. It comprises a support bar for connection to the furniture base, a first bar for attachment to the main seat of the furniture, a second bar for attachment to an additional seat of the furniture, and two curved levers for horizontal movement of the first bar and raising / lowering the second bar. Each lever has short and long arms connected at an angle. The second bar has two horizontal projections. The arms of the first lever are connected at an acute angle, with the first lever pivotally connected to the support bar at the point where the arms connect. The free end of the short arm of the first lever is pivotally connected to the first projection of the second bar, and the free end of the long arm of the first lever is pivotally connected to the first bar.The arms of the second lever are connected at an obtuse angle, wherein the second lever is pivotally connected to the second projection of the second bar at the point where the arms are connected, the free end of the short arm of the second lever is pivotally connected to the support bar, and the free end of the long arm of the second lever is pivotally connected to the first bar [RU 174893, A47C 17 / 00, published 09.11.2017].
[0007] The disadvantage of the upholstered furniture transformation mechanism is the labor intensity when unfolding the transformation mechanism, since the mechanism does not have unloading devices, usually made in the form of an extension spring to facilitate unfolding, a wooden frame of the upholstered furniture base is used as a synchronizer for the mechanism; it does not provide sufficient rigidity and, with prolonged use, gaps are formed between the support bar and the wooden base of the upholstered furniture seat, which ultimately lead to a distortion of the entire upholstered furniture transformation mechanism and the impossibility of using the latter.
[0008] The technical problem that the claimed utility model is aimed at solving is the creation of a mechanism for transforming upholstered furniture that ensures the possibility of using a soft covering up to 180 mm thick on the main frame while maintaining the standard height of the sleeping area relative to the floor, and also ensures the same height relative to the floor of the soft covering located on the main frame, the soft covering located on the intermediate frame, and the soft covering located on the pull-out frame when the mechanism for transforming upholstered furniture is transferred to the sleeping position.
[0009] The technical result of the claimed utility model is to ensure the possibility of using a soft covering of increased thickness, including a thickness of up to 180 mm, while maintaining the standard height of the sleeping area relative to the floor and forming a single flat surface of the sleeping area in the unfolded position of the transformation mechanism.
[0010] The said technical result is achieved in that in the mechanism for transforming upholstered furniture, comprising a headrest frame pivotally connected to a main frame provided with front and rear legs with height adjustment, an intermediate frame mounted on the main frame, made with the possibility of extension and provided with front and rear wheels, wherein the rear wheels of the intermediate frame are arranged with the possibility of interaction with guides mounted on the main frame, and the front wheels of the intermediate frame are made with the possibility of resting on the floor, and a retractable frame provided with front and rear wheels, wherein the rear wheels of the retractable frame are arranged with the possibility of interaction with guides mounted on the intermediate frame, and the front wheels of the retractable frame are made with the possibility of resting on the floor, and on the retractable frame are placed right and left mechanisms made mirrored,According to the claimed utility model, each of the right and left mechanisms comprises a load compensator made in the form of springs, a synchronizer made in the form of a transverse rod connected by the ends of the ties of each of the right and left mechanisms, each of the right and left mechanisms comprises a front rod and a rear rod movably connected to the base of the retractable frame and the corner of the base, wherein the rear rod comprises a lower part and an upper part movably connected to each other by a riveted rivet with an intermediate cylindrical washer, and a cylindrical stop-lock of the extreme position, a lever with an opening for connection with one end of the load compensator is movably attached to the lower part of the rear rod, wherein the other end of the load compensator is fixed to the base of the retractable frame, the upper part of the rear rod has an L-shape, the short side of which is provided with an opening for fastening to the corner of the base,a stop-lock of the extreme position is installed at the boundary between the long and short sides of the L-shaped form, the rear rod is movably fixed between the corner of the base and the base of the sliding frame, while a cylindrical washer is installed in the lower fastening of the rear rod with the base of the sliding frame, and a frame for fastening the base of the upholstered furniture is installed on the corners of the base of the right and left mechanisms.
[0011] Proof of achievement of technical result
[0012] Causal relationship between the features of the claimed transformation mechanism and the achieved technical result
[0013] The technical result, which consists in ensuring the possibility of using a soft covering of increased thickness, including a thickness of up to 180 mm, while maintaining the standard height of the sleeping area relative to the floor and forming a single flat surface of the sleeping area in the unfolded position of the transformation mechanism, is achieved by a combination of the essential features of the claimed utility model.
[0014] The main frame, equipped with front and rear height-adjustable legs, allows for the desired positioning of the main frame relative to the floor. The height-adjustable legs compensate for the increased thickness of the upholstery placed on the main frame without exceeding the standard bed height. Furthermore, the adjustable position of the main frame allows for the height of the upholstery placed on the main frame to be matched to the upholstery placed on the intermediate and pull-out frames.
[0015] The headrest frame, hinged to the main frame, ensures the headrest is integrated into the overall design of the transformation mechanism, allowing it to be positioned in a coordinated manner relative to the main frame. The hinge allows the headrest frame to be positioned relative to the main frame without disturbing the overall geometry of the bed, creating a flat surface when the mechanism is unfolded.
[0016] The presence of an intermediate frame, mounted on the main frame with the ability to slide out, allows for the creation of an additional sleeping area, positioned relative to the main frame at a predetermined position. The sliding position of the intermediate frame allows for an increase in sleeping area during transformation and allows the soft covering of the intermediate frame to be positioned at a level consistent with the soft covering of the main frame.
[0017] The intermediate frame's front and rear wheels ensure stable and controlled movement when extended and folded. The wheels reduce the frame's resistance to movement and prevent uncontrolled shifting or warping, which is important for maintaining the desired height and position of the soft covering relative to the rest of the bed.
[0018] The placement of the intermediate frame's rear wheels, which interact with the guides mounted on the main frame, ensures the intermediate frame moves along a predetermined path relative to the main frame. This controlled movement prevents the intermediate frame from deviating from its intended position and ensures that when unfolded, it remains at the desired level relative to the main frame, creating a uniform, level sleeping surface.
[0019] The front wheels of the intermediate frame are designed to rest on the floor, providing additional support for the intermediate frame when extended. By resting the front wheels on the floor, the intermediate frame maintains a stable position under load, preventing sagging or changes in the level of the intermediate frame's soft surface relative to the soft surface of the main and extending frames.
[0020] The pull-out frame, equipped with front and rear wheels, allows for the formation of an additional sleeping area and its movement relative to the intermediate frame. The pull-out frame wheels ensure stable movement and maintain the intended position of the pull-out frame both when transformed and when unfolded, which is necessary to align the soft surface on the pull-out frame with the rest of the sleeping area.
[0021] The rear wheels of the extendable frame are positioned so that they interact with the guides mounted on the intermediate frame, ensuring the guided movement of the extendable frame relative to the intermediate frame. This ensures that the extendable frame maintains its intended position without distortion or misalignment, and the soft surface on the extendable frame is aligned with the soft surface of the main and intermediate frames.
[0022] The front wheels of the pull-out frame are designed to rest on the floor, providing additional support for the frame when unfolded. This support allows for the load of the user and the thicker soft covering, reduces the risk of the pull-out frame sagging or sinking, and thus helps maintain a consistent sleeping surface.
[0023] The right and left mechanisms on the pull-out frame allow for the lifting and adjustment of the corresponding portion of the bed to the desired operating position. The right and left mechanisms allow the soft covering connected to the pull-out frame to be moved from its stowed position to the sleeping position, ensuring it is level with the other soft coverings that make up the bed.
[0024] The mirror image design of the right and left mechanisms ensures symmetrical action on the raised and moved parts of the structure. This symmetrical design of the right and left mechanisms reduces the risk of distortion during transformation and ensures the corresponding part of the bed is positioned evenly across the width of the product, which is necessary for creating a level surface.
[0025] The presence of a spring-based load compensator in each of the right and left mechanisms compensates for the forces generated when moving the mechanism elements and when using thicker soft coverings. The load compensator reduces the force required to fold and unfold the mechanism and facilitates smoother movement of the structural elements, reducing the risk of sudden displacement, distortion, or incomplete positioning of the elements. This ensures a stable position in which the soft coverings form a single, even surface.
[0026] The presence of a synchronizer, designed as a transverse rod connected at its ends to the rods of each of the right and left mechanisms, ensures coordinated operation of the right and left mechanisms. This synchronization prevents uneven movement of the right and left sides of the mechanism, prevents the lifting part from tilting, and ensures its uniform positioning for sleeping. This directly affects the ability to create a uniform, even sleeping surface across the entire width of the product.
[0027] The design of the rear link with a lower and upper section movably connected by a screw with a cylindrical intermediate washer ensures a flexible connection between the rear link elements, allowing for their coordinated relative movement during transformation. This connection ensures the required mechanism kinematics, reduces friction, and helps maintain the calculated trajectory of the elements, which is necessary for bringing the retractable section to the desired elevation.
[0028] The presence of a cylindrical end-position stop lock ensures that the movement of the mechanism elements is limited to a predetermined final position. Locking the end position prevents excessive movement of the mechanism elements, ensures a consistent position of the pull-out section when unfolded, and helps maintain a uniform bed surface.
[0029] A movable lever mount with a hole for connecting one end of the load compensator to the bottom of the rear link ensures the transfer of force from the load compensator to the rear link during the transformation process. This connection applies the compensating force to the corresponding link in the mechanism, facilitating movement of the structure and ensuring its smooth, unskewing final position.
[0030] Securing the other end of the load compensator to the base of the sliding frame creates a support point for the load compensator. This placement allows the compensator to absorb and redistribute forces between the sliding frame and the right and left mechanism components, increasing the mechanism's stability when using thicker soft coverings.
[0031] The L-shaped top section of the rear link allows for its rational placement and connection to the base elements of the mechanism while maintaining the desired trajectory of the rear link. This shape creates a kinematic connection that ensures the corresponding part of the mechanism reaches the desired height, which contributes to the smoothness of the sleeping surface.
[0032] The presence of a hole for mounting to the base corner on the short side of the L-shaped upper section of the rear link allows for the rear link to be flexibly connected to the base corner at a given point. The location of the mounting point on the short side of the L-shaped section determines the geometry of the rear link's movement and helps ensure the desired final position of the mechanism elements.
[0033] Placing the end-position stop at the boundary between the long and short sides of the L-shaped upper section of the rear link limits the rear link's movement precisely at the point where its shape changes direction, i.e., at a structurally significant point in the kinematic diagram. This ensures precise locking of the mechanism in the end position and improves the repeatability of the extended section's position.
[0034] The movable rear linkage between the base corner and the base of the sliding frame ensures its integration into the transformation mechanism's kinematic chain. This attachment allows the rear linkage to transmit forces and ensure the movement of the corresponding mechanism elements relative to the base of the sliding frame, which is necessary to raise the soft covering of the sliding section to the required level.
[0035] The presence of a cylindrical washer in the lower connection between the rear link and the base of the extendable frame reduces friction and stabilizes the movable joint in the mounting area. This promotes smooth movement of the rear link, reduces the risk of jamming or mechanism distortion, and thus ensures more precise alignment of the elements when unfolded.
[0036] Installing the upholstered furniture base mounting frame on the base corners of the right and left mechanisms ensures a structural connection between the transformation mechanism and the upholstered furniture base. This connection ensures stable placement and correct relative positioning of the right and left mechanisms, helps maintain the structure's geometry under load, and ensures the stability of the upholstered furniture when unfolded.
[0037] Thus, the combination of these features ensures coordinated movement of the main, intermediate, and extending parts of the transformation mechanism, stable frame positioning when unfolded, load compensation when using thicker soft covering, and locking of the mechanism elements in the designed position. This allows for the use of thicker soft coverings, including those up to 180 mm, while maintaining the standard bed height relative to the floor and creating a single, level sleeping surface when the transformation mechanism is unfolded.
[0038] The mechanism of transformation of upholstered furniture is illustrated by the drawings, where Fig. 1 shows the general view of the mechanism of transformation of upholstered furniture in the folded state - the sitting position, Fig. 2 - a view of the mechanism of transformation of upholstered furniture with the extended sliding frame and the folded right and left mechanisms, Fig. 3 - the left part of the mechanism in the raised state, Fig. 4 - the right part of the mechanism in the raised state, Fig. 5 - the right part of the mechanism in the folded state, Fig. 6 - shows the general view of the mechanism of transformation of upholstered furniture in the unfolded state - the sleeping position, Fig. 7 - shows the general view of upholstered furniture using the mechanism of transformation of upholstered furniture in the unfolded state - the sleeping position.
[0039] The upholstered furniture transformation mechanism comprises a headrest frame 1 (Fig. 1, 2, 6, 7) pivotally connected to a main frame 2. The main frame 2 is provided with front legs 3 and rear legs 4, configured to be height-adjustable. An intermediate frame 5 is mounted on the main frame 2 and is configured to slide out. The intermediate frame 5 is provided with front wheels 6 and rear wheels 7 (Fig. 2, 6, 7). The rear wheels 7 are arranged so as to be able to move along guides 8, mounted on the main frame 2, and the front wheels 6 are configured to move along the floor. An extendable frame 9 (Fig. 2, 3, 4, 6, 7) is mounted on the intermediate frame 5. The retractable frame 9 is provided with front wheels 10 (Fig. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) and rear wheels 11. The rear wheels 11 are arranged so as to be able to move along guides 12 mounted on the intermediate frame 5, and the front wheels 10 are designed so as to be able to move along the floor. The right 13 (Fig.2, 4) and left 14 (Fig. 1, 3, 6) mechanisms, made mirror images of each other. Each of the right 13 (Fig. 4) and left 14 (Fig. 3) mechanisms contains a load compensator 15 (Fig. 4, 5, 6), made in the form of springs, as well as a synchronizer made in the form of a transverse rod 16 (Fig. 6). The transverse rod 16 is connected by its ends to the rods of the right 13 (Fig. 5) and left 14 (Fig. 7) mechanisms, ensuring their coordinated movement. The rear rod 17 (Fig. 6) contains a lower part 18 and an upper part 19, movably connected to each other by a riveted 20 with an intermediate cylindrical washer (not shown in the figure). To fix the extreme position, a cylindrical stop-lock of the extreme position 21 is installed (Fig. 3, 4). A lever with an opening 22 intended for connection with one end of the load compensator 15 is movably attached to the lower part 18 (Fig. 3) of the rear rod 17. The other end of the load compensator 15 is fixed to the base of the retractable frame 9. The upper part 19 (Fig.4) the rear rod 17 has an L-shape, the short side of which is provided with an opening (not shown in the figure) for fastening to the corner of the base 24. At the border between the long and short sides of the L-shaped upper part 19 of the rear rod 17, a stop-lock of the extreme position 23 is installed. The rear rod 17 is movably fixed between the corner of the base 24 and the base of the sliding frame 9. A cylindrical washer is installed in the lower fastening of the rear rod 17 with the base of the sliding frame 9 (not shown in the figure). On the corners of the base 24 of the right 13 and left 14 (Fig. 3) mechanisms, a fastening frame 25 (Fig. 2) of the base of upholstered furniture is installed.
[0040] The upholstered furniture transformation mechanism works as follows.
[0041] In the initial folded position, the transformation mechanism elements are arranged to form a seat for upholstered furniture. The main frame 2 rests on front legs 3 and rear legs 4, which are height-adjustable. The headrest frame 1 is pivotally connected to the main frame 2, allowing for changing the position of the headrest of the upholstered furniture relative to the main frame 2. To form a sleeping area, the intermediate frame 5 is extended relative to the main frame 2. In this case, the rear wheels 7 of the intermediate frame 5 move along guides 8 mounted on the main frame 2, and the front wheels 6 move along the floor. This movement ensures the directed exit of the intermediate frame 5 relative to the main frame 2 and its stable position during transformation. Next, the extendable frame 9 is extended relative to the intermediate frame 5.In this case, the rear wheels 11 of the retractable frame 9 move along the guides 12 installed on the intermediate frame 5, and the front wheels 10 move along the floor. Due to the said interaction of the wheels 11 with the guides 12 and the support of the front wheels 10 on the floor, the retractable frame 9 occupies a given position relative to the intermediate frame 5. The right mechanism 13 and the left mechanism 14, made mirror images, are mounted on the retractable frame 9. When the mechanisms 13 and 14 are transferred to the unfolded position, the corresponding part of the berth moves upward and forward relative to the retractable frame 9. The movement of the right 13 and left 14 mechanisms is carried out in a coordinated manner due to a synchronizer, made in the form of a transverse rod 16, connected by its ends to the rods of the right 13 and left 14 mechanisms. The transverse rod 16 ensures the simultaneous movement of the right and left sides of the mechanism, reduces the likelihood of distortion and helps bring the corresponding part of the berth to the calculated position.Load compensator 15, implemented in the form of springs, interacts with the elements of mechanisms 13 and 14 and reduces the force required to move the mechanism to the unfolded and folded positions. One end of load compensator 15 is connected to a lever with an opening 22, movably fixed on the lower part 18 of the rear rod 17, and the other end of load compensator 15 is fixed on the base of the retractable frame 9. The rear rod 17 comprises a lower part 18 and an upper part 19, movably connected to each other by a rivet 20 with an intermediate cylindrical washer. The said movable connection ensures coordinated mutual movement of the lower part 18 and the upper part 19 of the rear rod 17 during operation of the left 13 and right 14 mechanisms and facilitates the bringing of the mechanism elements to a predetermined end position. A cylindrical stop-lock of the extreme position 21 is provided to limit the movement of the mechanism elements and fix their extreme position. The upper part 19 of the rear link 17 is made in an L-shape, wherein the short side of the upper part 19 is provided with an opening, not shown in the figure, for fastening to the corner of the base 24. At the boundary between the long and short sides of the L-shaped upper part 19 of the rear link 17, a stop-lock of the extreme position 23 is installed, which limits the travel of the rear link 17 when the mechanisms 13, 14 are transferred to the extreme position. The rear link 17 is movably fixed between the corner of the base 24 and the base of the sliding frame 9. In the lower fastening of the rear link 17 with the base of the sliding frame 9, a cylindrical washer is installed, not shown in the figure, providing for a decrease in friction in the movable joint and an increase in the smoothness of the mechanism operation. On the corners of the base 24 of the right 13 and left 14 mechanisms, a frame for fastening the base 25 of the upholstered furniture is installed. The mounting frame 25 ensures the connection of the transformation mechanism with the base of the upholstered furniture and the absorption of operational loads. When the upholstered furniture transformation mechanism is unfolded, the main frame 2, intermediate frame 5, and pull-out frame 9 occupy a mutually coordinated position relative to the floor. When placing thicker upholstery, including up to 180 mm, on these frames, the standard bed height is maintained relative to the floor, creating a single, level sleeping surface.
[0042] Example of the implementation of the utility model
[0043] In one embodiment, the upholstered furniture transformation mechanism can be used as part of a sofa bed, designed with the ability to transform from a sitting position to a sleeping position.
[0044] The upholstered furniture transformation mechanism comprises a main frame 2 mounted on front legs 3 and rear legs 4, which are height-adjustable. Legs 3 and 4 are adjustable so that when thicker upholstery, such as 180 mm, is installed on the main frame 2, the upper surface of said upholstery is positioned at the standard sleeping height relative to the floor.
[0045] The headrest frame 1 is pivotally connected to the main frame 2. An intermediate frame 5 is mounted on the main frame 2 and is equipped with front wheels 6 and rear wheels 7. The rear wheels 7 of the intermediate frame 5 are located in guides 8 mounted on the main frame 2, and the front wheels 6 are designed to rest on the floor. This design ensures the directional extension of the intermediate frame 5 relative to the main frame 2 and the maintenance of its specified height position in the unfolded state.
[0046] A retractable frame 9 is mounted on the intermediate frame 5, equipped with front wheels 10 and rear wheels 11. The rear wheels 11 are located in guides 12 mounted on the intermediate frame 5, and the front wheels 10 are designed to rest on the floor. When the frame 9 is extended, this arrangement of wheels 10, 11 ensures its stable movement and installation in a position consistent with the position of the intermediate frame 5.
[0047] Right 13 and left 14 mechanisms, mirror images, are mounted on the sliding frame 9. The right 13 and left 14 mechanisms are connected by a synchronizer, implemented in the form of a transverse rod 16, due to which, when mechanisms 13 and 14 are moved to the sleeping position, the right and left sides move simultaneously and without distortion.
[0048] Each of the right 13 and left 14 mechanisms is equipped with a load compensator 15, implemented in the form of springs. One end of the load compensator 15 is connected to a lever with an opening 22, movably attached to the lower part 18 of the rear link 17, and the other end is secured to the base of the retractable frame 9. When unfolding and folding the mechanism, the load compensator 15 reduces the force required to move the mechanism elements, which is especially important when using thicker soft coverings.
[0049] The rear link 17 is composite and comprises a lower part 18 and an upper part 19, movably connected to each other by a rivet 20 with an intermediate cylindrical washer. The upper part 19 of the rear link 17 is L-shaped and is connected to the base corner 24. An extreme position stop 21 and an extreme position stop 23 are provided on the rear link 17, ensuring that the movement of the mechanism elements is limited and they are set in a predetermined end position.
[0050] A cylindrical washer is installed in the lower connection between the rear link 17 and the base of the sliding frame 9. This washer reduces friction in the sliding joint and facilitates smooth movement of the rear link 17 during transformation.
[0051] A frame for fastening the base 25 of the upholstered furniture is installed on the corners of the base 24 of the right 13 and left 14 mechanisms, by means of which the transformation mechanism is connected to the base of the upholstered furniture and bears operational loads.
[0052] When converting the sofa bed to the sleeping position, intermediate frame 5 is extended relative to main frame 2, then extendable frame 9 is extended relative to intermediate frame 5, after which mechanisms 13 and 14 are moved to the unfolded position. The directional movement of frames 5 and 9, the coordinated operation of right 13 and left 14 mechanisms, the action of load compensator 15, and the fixation of mechanism elements in their extreme positions ensure the calculated relative positions of main frame 2, intermediate frame 5, and extendable frame 9.
[0053] As a result, when unfolded, the soft covering installed on the main frame 2, the soft covering installed on the intermediate frame 5, and the soft covering installed on the pull-out frame 9 are all flush with the floor. This allows for the use of thicker soft coverings, including up to 180 mm, while maintaining the standard height of the bed relative to the floor and creating a single, level sleeping surface.
[0054] Thus, the given example of implementation confirms the achievement of the declared technical result, since the design of the upholstered furniture transformation mechanism ensures the use of a soft covering of increased thickness, including up to 180 mm, without increasing the height of the sleeping area relative to the floor beyond the standard, and also ensures the formation in the sleeping position of a single flat surface formed by the soft coverings of the main, intermediate and pull-out frames.
