Abstract
Description
[0001] The utility model relates to the field of armament, namely to devices that facilitate the activation of hand fragmentation grenades equipped with a fuse with a safety cap.
[0002] It is well known that to fire a grenade, the safety cap must be removed. In combat, this is accomplished using the index and middle fingers of the hand holding the pistol grip. This necessitates removing the index finger from the trigger. In combat, this can increase the time from the moment the weapon needs to be used until the actual shot is fired.
[0003] The technical result of the proposed utility model consists in the implementation of combat cocking of a cap grenade without the need to remove the index finger from the trigger of a small arms weapon.
[0004] The specified technical result is achieved in that the device contains a housing in the form of a corner, one shelf of which is intended for fastening to the side surface of a small armament, and in the second shelf a through slot is made for inserting a grenade cap, while the inner contour of the slot is made with the possibility of hooking onto the flange of the grenade cap.
[0005] Fig. 1 shows a general view of the device mounted on the small arms.
[0006] Figure 2 shows the device with a grenade inserted and the process of removing the cap by moving the grenade in the direction away from the device.
[0007] The cap grenade cocking device consists of a body 1, shaped like an angle, one shelf of which is designed for attachment to the side of a small arms weapon. The second shelf is located perpendicular to the first and contains a slot 2, the shape of which allows the grenade cap bushing 3 to be inserted into it.
[0008] The device operates as follows.
[0009] The soldier holds the assault rifle by the pistol grip, tilting the weapon slightly horizontally for easy access to the side where the trigger guard is attached. With their free hand, the soldier grabs the grenade and inserts its cap into slot 2. Then, with a movement of the hand holding the grenade, they move the grenade away from the trigger guard. The trigger guard holds the grenade cap 3 and separates it from the grenade. The grenade is then cocked and ready to be thrown.
[0010] Due to the design of the body in the form of a corner with a slot, the inner contour of which ensures a secure grip of the cap, a quick and trouble-free removal of the cap with one hand is achieved, without the need to remove the index finger from the trigger of the firearm.
