Abstract
Description
[0001] Technical field
[0002] The utility model relates to the field of valve technology, in particular to a differential pressure balancing valve.
[0003] Technology Level
[0004] The differential pressure balancing valve (also known as a dynamic differential pressure balancing valve or self-acting differential pressure control valve) is a hydraulic control valve that requires no external power source and is automatically adjusted by changes in the pressure of the working medium itself, maintaining a constant differential pressure in the controlled system. It measures the pressure in the supply and return lines separately through pulse tubes, and the opening degree of the valve is automatically adjusted based on the balance between the differential pressure on both sides of the diaphragm and the spring force.
[0005] Patent No. CN 204114273 U discloses an adjustable differential pressure balancing valve designed to pre-balance the flow rate in branches of closed circulation systems and maintain a constant differential pressure between the supply and return pipelines. The valve mainly consists of a body, a plug, a stem, a handwheel assembly, and a spring balancing unit. The differential pressure between the supply and return pipelines is set by the spring balancing unit and a diaphragm and maintained at a constant level. Furthermore, the valve is equipped with a handwheel, which pre-sets the preload force of the balancing spring to fix the operating differential pressure of the valve.
[0006] The above-mentioned differential pressure valve has the following disadvantages: differential pressure balancing is achieved by moving the diaphragm and valve stem under the influence of the pressure differential, with the stem's range of movement limited by the internal height of the valve body. The valve cover and diaphragm clamp are connected only by threads. The operating differential pressure is determined by presetting the spring tension using a handwheel. Opening and closing the valve, as well as adjusting the spring tension, are all performed using the handwheel, making operation unintuitive and complex, and the valve is not very user-friendly.

[0034] Implementation of a utility model
[0035] The present embodiment discloses a differential pressure balancing valve as shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, comprising a valve body, in the inner cavity of which a dynamic balancing unit is located, designed to maintain a differential pressure; a flywheel 15 is installed in the upper part of the body, the flywheel 15 is connected to the body via a connecting pipe 4, and the height of the flywheel 15 determines the range of dynamic adjustment of the balancing unit. An adjustment wheel 5 is installed on the valve body, which is movably connected to the connecting pipe 4 and is capable of moving the connecting pipe 4, the flywheel 15 and the dynamic balancing unit up and down as a single unit.
[0036] By using the adjusting wheel 5, the connecting pipe 4 moves up and down relative to the valve body, thereby adjusting the height of the connecting pipe 4, the flywheel 15 and the dynamic balancing unit, and therefore changing the height of the internal cavity of the valve and adjusting the working value of the pressure difference of the dynamic balancing unit.
[0037] Preferably, the connecting pipe 4 is connected to the valve body via a threaded connection, and the adjusting wheel 5 is connected to the connecting pipe 4 via a connecting structure. Specifically, the connecting structure includes vertical grooves 41 formed on the outer wall of the connecting pipe 4, and locking blocks 51 located on the inner wall of the adjusting wheel 5 and slidably entering the vertical grooves 41; two locking blocks 51 are provided, which are symmetrically located on the adjusting wheel 5, and accordingly two vertical grooves 41 are provided, each of which interacts with its own locking block 51. Due to the interaction of the locking blocks 51 and the vertical grooves 41, the adjusting wheel 5 can move relative to the connecting pipe 4 along the axis, but cannot rotate relative to it, therefore, turning the adjusting wheel 5 leads to synchronous rotation of the connecting pipe 4.
[0038] When adjusting wheel 5 rotates, connecting pipe 4 also rotates. Since connecting pipe 4 is threaded to the valve body, it rises or falls relative to connecting seat 6 during rotation, causing synchronous movement of flywheel 15 and the dynamic balancing unit. This effectively changes the height of the valve's internal cavity and, consequently, the working space of the dynamic balancing unit.
[0039] Preferably, in the present embodiment, the valve body includes an outer body 1, a base 2 mounted on the outer body 1, and a connecting seat 6 mounted on the base 2; the connecting seat 6 is connected to an adjusting wheel 5, wherein the adjusting wheel 5 is mounted on the outer side of the connecting seat 6. When the adjusting wheel 5 rotates, the connecting pipe 4 moves relative to the connecting seat 6, wherein the connecting seat 6 is made detachable relative to the base 2, which facilitates the installation and dismantling of the elements of the lower part of the valve.
[0040] According to another embodiment of the present utility model, as shown in Fig. 3-5, in order to prevent the spontaneous rotation of the adjusting wheel 5, a limiting structure is provided between it and the body, which limits the rotation of the adjusting wheel 5 when it is not in use. The limiting structure includes several locking grooves 61 formed along the circumference of the valve body and corresponding to the locking blocks 51. When adjustment is not required, the locking blocks 51 enter the locking grooves 61 and are held by them from rotating along the circumference, which effectively prevents accidental rotation of the adjusting wheel 5; for adjustment, it is sufficient to move the adjusting wheel 5 upward so that the locking blocks 51 come out of the locking grooves 61, and after that, the adjusting wheel 5 can freely rotate the connecting pipe 4.
[0041] There are a total of four locking grooves 61, which are evenly spaced around the circumference of the upper part of the connecting saddle 6, and the vertical grooves 41 can be aligned with any of the locking grooves 61; that is to say, after the adjusting wheel 5 is turned, only when the vertical groove 41 is aligned with the locking groove 61, the adjusting wheel 5 can be lowered again so that the locking blocks 51 enter the locking grooves 61; therefore, the adjusting wheel 5 can rotate the connecting pipe 4 by an angle multiple of 90° in one cycle. To visually check the position of the connecting pipe 4, a scale is applied to its outer surface.
[0042] According to another embodiment of the present utility model, as shown in Fig. 3-5, between the adjusting wheel 5 and the valve body, a structure is additionally provided for preventing the locking blocks 51 from accidentally exiting the locking grooves 61; the protective structure includes an annular groove 62 on the outer surface of the valve body, an annular limiting groove 63 located above the annular groove 62, and an elastic locking hook 52 mounted on the adjusting wheel 5.When the inner side of the elastic locking hook 52 enters the annular groove 62, the locking blocks 51 are in the locking grooves 61 and are limited by them along the circumference, while the locking blocks 51 are always inside the vertical grooves 41, therefore, in this state, the adjusting wheel 5 and the connecting pipe 4 are blocked from rotation by the locking grooves 61; when the elastic locking hook 52 rises upward and enters the annular limiting groove 63, the locking blocks 51 come out of the locking grooves 61, but at the same time continue to be in the vertical grooves 41, and the adjusting wheel 5 is able to rotate the connecting pipe 4.
[0043] Operating principle: when the adjusting wheel 5 is not in use, the lower part of the elastic locking hook 52 is fixed in the annular groove 62 from below, the interaction of the elastic locking hook 52 and the annular groove 62 prevents the adjusting wheel 5 from accidentally lifting and the locking blocks 51 from coming out of the locking grooves 61; when using the adjusting wheel 5, it is necessary to press the upper ends of the elastic locking hook 52 from both sides so that the lower ends are raised and come out of the annular groove 62, then lift the adjusting wheel 5 upward until the lower ends of the elastic locking hook 52 enter the annular limiting groove 63 from above; to re-lock, it is sufficient to lower the adjusting wheel 5 downward so that the lower ends of the elastic locking hook 52 again enter the annular groove 62.
[0044] According to another embodiment of the present utility model, as shown in Fig. 4, this embodiment proposes a detachable design of the connection between the base 2 and the connecting saddle 6, in particular, on the outer wall of the connecting saddle 6 there is a group of locking strips 64 and elastic plates 65, while there are two locking strips 64 and elastic plates 65; the two groups are symmetrically located on both sides of the connecting saddle 6; the elastic plates 65 and the locking strips 64 are located one above the other with an offset in height; an annular rotary groove 21 is formed on the base 2 for the entry of the locking strips 64, two stop strips 22 above the annular rotary groove 21 are located with a gap between them; at one end of the locking bar 64 a limiting element 641 is formed, at one end of the elastic plate 65 a limiting projection 651 is formed; the locking bar 64 is configured to rotate within the annular rotary groove 21;when the locking bar 64 is rotated to a position where the limiting element 641 rests against one end of the stop bar 22, and the limiting projection 651 rests against the side wall of the other end of the stop bar 22, the connecting saddle 6 and the base 2 are fixed to each other; when the locking bar 64 is rotated to a position where it is completely displaced relative to the stop bar 22, the connecting saddle 6 can be separated from the base 2.
[0045] Operating principle: to connect the base 2 and the connecting saddle 6, the locking bars 64 are aligned with the insertion point in the annular rotary groove 21 (the gap between the two stop bars 22), then the connecting saddle 6 is pressed downward so that the locking bars 64 are temporarily located in the gap between the two stop bars 22, after which the locking bars 64 are inserted into the annular rotary groove 21; during the insertion process, the elastic plates 65 contact the upper surface of the stop bars 22 and bend upward relative to the locking bars 64.Then the connecting saddle 6 is turned so that the locking strips 64 gradually rotate under the stop strips 22 until they are completely overlapped with them, wherein the limiting element 641 of the locking strip 64 rests against one end of the stop strip 22; at the same time, the elastic plates 65, subjected to elastic deformation, gradually rotate and separate from the surface of the stop strips 22, and at the moment of separation, the limiting projections 651 on their ends enter the insertion place of the annular rotary groove 21 (the gap between the two stop strips 22).Thus, the interaction of the stop bars 22 and the locking bars 64 prevents the axial disconnection of the connecting saddle 6 from the base 2; at the same time, when the limiting element 641 rests against one end of the stop bar 22, and the limiting projection 651 rests against the other end of the stop bar 22, this interaction limits the mutual rotation of the base 2 and the connecting saddle 6, thereby completing the installation of the connecting saddle 6 and the base 2.
[0046] For dismantling, the operating principle is reversed: using a tool (there is a hole for inserting a tool on the side surface of the elastic plate 65, after inserting the tool, it is lifted up), the ends of the elastic plates 65 are lifted up on both sides (causing their elastic deformation) so that the limiting protrusions 651 come out onto the upper surface of the stop strips 22, then the connecting saddle 6 can be turned in the opposite direction and separated from the base 2.
[0047] According to another embodiment of the present utility model, as shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the dynamic balancing unit includes a rod 3, an elastic membrane 7, a cap 10, a spring 11; the rod 3 is installed in the valve cavity with the possibility of rising and falling; the elastic membrane 7 divides the space between the outer casing 1 and the base 2 into an upper chamber 8 and a lower chamber 9, wherein the upper chamber 8 is in communication with the supply pipeline through an external pipeline; it should be noted that distribution manifolds for underfloor heating systems are a known technical solution, the present balancing valve is installed after the return manifold; the coolant is supplied first to the supply manifold, then the coolant passes through the underfloor heating circuits and returns to the return manifold; the valve inlet is connected to the outlet part of the return manifold, and the flow passes through the valve inlet and then exits through its outlet pipe;the lower chamber 9 communicates with the valve inlet; the stem 3 passes through the membrane 7, which has an interference fit relative to the stem 3, due to which the elastic membrane 7 is able to move the stem 3 up and down; the cap 10 is connected by a thread to the upper end of the stem 3 of the valve; the spring 11 is put on the stem 3 from the outside, wherein the lower end of the spring 11 rests against the base 2, and the upper end of the spring 11 rests against the cap 10.
[0048] As shown in Fig. 7, on the outer surface of the cap 10 there are lugs 16, which are mated with longitudinal grooves 42 on the inner surface of the connecting pipe 4 with the possibility of sliding; the longitudinal grooves 42 extend along the axis of the connecting pipe 4, so that the cap 10 can only move up and down inside the connecting pipe 4, but cannot rotate relative to it, which allows the connecting pipe 4 to drive the cap 10 into rotation synchronously; in another embodiment, the lugs 16 and the longitudinal grooves 42 can be mutually rearranged, but with the preservation of the possibility of sliding of the cap 10 inside the connecting pipe 4; in the upper part of the connecting pipe 4 there is a flange 43, which limits the stroke of the lugs 16 and prevents the cap 10 from accidentally falling out of the upper end of the connecting pipe 4.At the lower end of the rod 3, a multi-faceted projection 31 is formed, which is mated with a through hole in the outer housing 1 with the possibility of sliding and allows the rod 3 to move only inside the outer housing 1 up and down, excluding rotation relative to the housing 1, i.e. the valve rod 3 is limited along the circumference by the outer housing 1, while between the multi-faceted projection 31 and the outer housing 1 a gap is provided for the passage of liquid, connecting the valve inlet with the lower chamber 9. Since the cap 10 is connected to the rod 3 by a thread, and the rod 3 is limited from rotation, rotation of the connecting pipe 4 makes it possible to adjust the height of the cap 10 on the upper end of the valve rod 3, thereby adjusting the preliminary compression of the spring 11.When a sufficient pressure difference is created between the upper chamber 8 and the lower chamber 9, the liquid in the upper chamber 8 and the lower chamber 9 causes the elastic membrane 7 to deform, which leads to the valve stem 3 rising or falling, and in combination with the force of the spring 11 provides dynamic balancing of the pressure difference.
[0049] As a preferred embodiment of the present embodiment, as shown in Fig. 6, an upper seal 12 and a lower seal 13, which may be in the form of sealing rings, are provided between the valve stem 3 and the base 2, and between the valve stem 3 and the outer casing 1; in order to reduce the lifting resistance of the valve stem 3, a solid lubricant 14 is placed between the upper seal 12 and the lower seal 13; during the lifting and lowering of the valve stem 3, the solid lubricant 14 provides lubrication between the valve stem 3 and the base 2, and between the valve stem 3 and the outer casing 1 due to friction, reducing the resistance when the valve stem 3 moves.
[0050] As a preferred embodiment of the present embodiment, the flywheel 15 is connected to the connecting pipe 4 by means of a thread, and the lower end of the flywheel 15 is capable of abutting the cap 10; when the flywheel 15 is rotated, its lower end acts on the cap 10 and moves the cap 10 downward together with the stem 3, wherein the lower part of the stem blocks the passage between the inlet and outlet of the valve, bringing the valve to a closed state; to open the valve, the flywheel 15 is rotated in the opposite direction until its lower end no longer presses the cap 10, after which the inlet and outlet of the valve are again communicated with each other, and the cap 10 is allowed to move freely together with the stem 3 of the valve.
