Abstract
Description
[0001] The utility model relates to the designs of inverted asynchronous machines, namely, motors with a squirrel-cage rotor, including motor wheels and motors for driving aircraft equipped with propellers.
[0002] In this description, the term “reversed machine” refers to electric machines of reversed design - with an internal stator and an external (outer) rotor [1,2].
[0003] An energy-efficient reversed asynchronous machine with a short-circuited rotor winding of the “squirrel cage” (“squirrel wheel”) type is known, in which the housing and one of the short-circuiting rings of the rotor winding are made as a single unit to increase the efficiency of heat removal from the rotor [3], - analogue.
[0004] The disadvantage of the analogue is the relatively high equivalent resistance of the rotor.
[0005] There is a multi-pole reversed asynchronous machine in which the rods of the short-circuited rotor winding are connected on one side by a short-circuiting ring having an electrical connection with the machine body, and on the other side by a short-circuiting disk (application for patent for invention No. 2024132296) [4], - prototype.
[0006] A disadvantage of the prototype is the need for a housing, which makes it difficult to lighten the structure and cool the machine, since the possibility of using a short-circuiting disk as a power element of the machine is limited.
[0007] The technical result of the proposed utility model consists in the possibility of using the external rotor of a reversed asynchronous machine as a power element, for example, for fastening an aircraft drive propeller to it.
[0008] The stated technical result is achieved using the following design of the outer rotor of a reversed asynchronous machine (hereinafter referred to as the outer rotor). The outer rotor comprises a magnetic core, a squirrel-cage winding, and an outer disk. The squirrel-cage winding is made of aluminum alloy, and the outer disk is made of structural steel. The outer disk is connected to one of the winding's short-circuiting rings and is electrically coupled to it. It has a dome-shaped form with a flat central portion, its convex portion oriented toward the machine stator, i.e., toward the outside.
[0009] There is an external rotor version in which the outer disk has through holes to improve the cooling efficiency of the machine stator winding and to reduce the weight of the structure.
[0010] There is an external rotor version in which the connection of the outer disk and the corresponding short-circuiting ring is made by welding to improve the strength of the structure.
[0011] There is a variant of the external rotor in which the flat central section is designed to be attached to a shaft located inside the machine on one side, and to a propeller on the other. This rotor variant is used in asynchronous motors used in vehicle drives that use propellers.
[0012] Implementation of a utility model
[0013] The proposed utility model is implemented in prototypes of frameless reversed asynchronous motors intended for aircraft equipped with propellers. Figs. 1-3 show a general view of a rotor with an outer disk in a variant with an outer disk having through holes. Fig. 4 shows an example of a welded joint between a short-circuiting ring and an outer disk. Fig. 5 shows a prototype of a frameless reversed asynchronous motor.
