Description
[0001] The invention relates to the creation of antifriction lubricants based on a polymer binder and can be used in mechanical engineering for application to parts of friction units operating under conditions of high loads and temperatures, in particular in the technological process of drawing steel wire.
[0002] The composition of an antifriction coating is known, containing, in wt. %: molybdenum disulfide 5-10, silver graphite C-1 5-8, talc 2-6, and polyvinyl butyral grade "PSh" (the remainder). The coating is applied in a fluidized bed in an air stream and melted at 175-180°C for 8-10 minutes (author's certificate SU 563428, published: 30.06.1977).
[0003] A lubricating composition is known (patent for invention No. 2321619; published: 10.04.2008), containing 30-70 wt. % molybdenum disulfide and 30-70 wt. % graphite impregnated with epilam containing an organofluorine surfactant (Fluorosurfactant), in their mass ratio of 1:(2-3).
[0004] An antifriction composition is known (patent for invention No. 2359981; published: 27.06.2009) for coatings, including molybdenum disulfide and a varnish containing polyvinyl butyral, characterized in that as molybdenum disulfide it contains molybdenum disulfide modified with epilam, in their mass ratio of 1: (2-3) and representing a solution of an organofluorine surfactant in a solvent in the following ratio of components, wt. %: molybdenum disulfide modified with epilam, in their mass ratio of 1: (2-3) - 20-25; polyvinyl butyral varnish - the rest.
[0005] The objective of the present invention is to create a new antifriction lubricant composition for the wire drawing process, capable of withstanding high pressures, eliminating sintering and delamination of the lubricant during the drawing process and ensuring minimal wear of the die channel.

[0011] A method for producing an antifriction lubricating composition comprising treating molybdenum disulfide with epilam containing an organofluorine surfactant (Fluoro-SAS) in a weight ratio of 1:(1-2) by impregnation at a temperature not exceeding the boiling point of epilam, drying the resulting product at room temperature until completely dry, heat fixation at 100-115°C for 2-3 hours and subsequent addition of sodium sulfate and calcium stearate in the specified ratio.
[0012] The following can be used as epilams: Avtokon - 0.5, Avtokon - 20 (TU 2229-008-27991970-95), which are solutions of perfluoroacid grade 6 MFK-180 in perfluoromethylcyclohexane (PFMCG) or freon 350; 6SFK-180-05, 6SFK-180-20, 6SFK-180-50; Polyzam, Amidofen, Amidoamine, etc.
[0013] Impregnation is carried out for 10-24 hours at a temperature not exceeding the boiling point of the Epilam solution, which, at low concentrations of fluorosurfactant (dissolved substance), is equal to the boiling point of the solvent. For example, Epilam Avtokon-0.5, according to TU 2229-008-27991970-95, has a boiling point of 76.3°C.
[0014] Modified molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is a molybdenum disulfide powder with a particle size of no more than 8 μm, coated with a Fluorosurfactant film.
[0015] Example of obtaining an antifriction lubricant composition
[0016] Molybdenum disulfide powder with a moisture content of 0.5% is loaded into a 1 dm³ autoclave, pre-evacuated at a residual pressure of 50 mmHg for 40-60 min, then an Epilam solution, such as "Avtokon-0.5", is added at a weight ratio of 1:(1-2). Impregnation is carried out for 10-24 hours at a temperature of 65-76°C, which does not exceed the boiling point of the Epilam solution "Avtokon-0.5". The resulting creamy mass of modified molybdenum disulfide is dried at room temperature on a smooth surface, such as glass, until completely dry, after which it is heat-cured at a temperature of 100-110°C in a drying oven for 2-3 hours.
[0017] Next, modified molybdenum disulfide, sodium sulfate, and calcium stearate are placed in an aluminum or galvanized container in the following ratio of components, wt. %: molybdenum disulfide modified with epilam, at a weight ratio of 1:(1-2) - 1.2-6; sodium sulfate - 10-20; calcium stearate - the rest, and the components are mixed for 2 hours until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Next, heat treat the resulting mixture at a temperature of 175 °C and then grind it, for example, in a ball mill.

[0020] Tribological tests of the claimed antifriction lubricant composition containing modified molybdenum disulfide were conducted on a ChMT-1 four-ball friction machine. Samples of the claimed antifriction lubricant composition with the following modified molybdenum disulfide contents were used for testing: 1.2%, 2.4%, 3.6%, and 4.8%. A sample of the dry lubricant "PANLUBE S465 AS-V1" was used as a control composition.
[0021] During tests on the ChMT-1, it was recorded that when the content of modified molybdenum disulfide in the declared antifriction lubricating composition was 1.2%, 2.4%, 3.6%, welding of balls occurred under a load of 400 kgf. When the content of modified molybdenum disulfide in the declared antifriction lubricating composition was 4.8%, welding occurred under a load of 668 kgf. The test results are given in Table 1.

[0024] Tribological tests of the dry drawing lubricant "PANLUBE S465 AS-V1" revealed ball welding under a load of 400 kgf. The test results are presented in Table 2.

[0027] Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the declared antifriction lubricant composition has high tribological parameters corresponding to the parameters required for dry lubricants used in particular in drawing.
[0028] Industrial tests of lubricant for drawing steel wire clad with aluminum grade 40 SA at a speed of 4.8÷6.2 m / s showed a positive result, 28.5 km of wire were produced.

An antifriction lubricating composition comprising molybdenum disulfide modified with epilam containing an organofluorine surfactant (Fluorosurfactant) in a weight ratio of 1:(1-2), sodium sulfate and calcium stearate in the following ratio of components, wt. %: - molybdenum disulfide modified with epilam, with their mass ratio of 1:(1-2) – 1.2-6 - sodium sulfate – 10-20 - calcium stearate – the rest 2. A method for producing an antifriction lubricating composition according to claim 1, comprising treating molybdenum disulfide with epilam containing an organofluorine surfactant (Fluoro-SAS) in a weight ratio of 1:(1-2) by impregnation at a temperature not exceeding the boiling point of epilam, drying the resulting product at room temperature until completely dry, heat fixation at 100-115 °C for 2-3 hours, subsequent addition of sodium sulfate and calcium stearate in the specified ratio, mixing the components until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, heat treatment at a temperature of 130-175 °C and subsequent grinding.
