Abstract

FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: plant protection products. The fungicidal microparticle composition comprises a fungicide F in the form of microparticles surrounded by or enclosed in an aminoplast polymer, wherein the aminoplast polymer is a product of polycondensation of one or more amino compounds and one or more aldehydes, and the fungicide F is an SDHI fungicide selected from fluopyram, cyclobutrifluram or mixtures thereof. The content of the aminoplast polymer in the microparticle composition is from 0.5 to 40 wt.% based on the total weight of the aminoplast polymer and fungicide F, while the microparticles have a weighted average particle diameter d50 in the range from 1 to 25 μm, as determined by dynamic light scattering of an aqueous dispersion of microcapsules. The composition is used to combat unwanted fungi and nematodes by treating plants, their habitat or seeds.EFFECT: proposed fungicidal composition has new properties in terms of action against nematodes, effective action against unwanted fungi, and prolonged release of fungicides.20 cl, 3 tbl, 8 ex
