[0014] The sealing device of pumps for pumping various chemically abrasive media (Figs. 1 and 2) consists of a package of working cuffs 1 having a sealing and supporting surfaces with spring tongues, with a central projection of variable thickness and a corresponding groove on the opposite end. Along the edges of the package, on the side of the central projection of the first cuff 1, a pressure ring 2 is located, on the side of the groove of the last cuff of the package, a support ring 3 is located. The pressure and support rings 2, 3 are made of a polymer material, the modulus of elasticity of which is equal to or greater than the corresponding indicator of the material of the working cuffs 1. Along the diameter of the sealing device (view A of Fig. 1), three through holes are made at an angle of 120°, passing through the central axis of the cross-section of the sealing device, into which adjusting screws 4 are installed as shown in Fig. 2.The adjusting screw 4 is represented in the form of an elongated spoke, on one side of which a thread is made, and on the other a screw head for a screwdriver. On the pressure ring 2, on the left side of the end in the center, an annular groove with holes is made, into which the pressure round plate 5 with nuts 6 is installed (Fig. 3). On the support ring 3, on the right side of the end in the center, an annular groove is made, into which the support round plate 7 with holes is installed. The holes in the support round plate 7 are made at a bevel for the head of the adjusting screw 4.
