[0001] The invention relates to conveyor grain dryers used for drying various agricultural crops, namely to a system for heating and supplying air to the drying chamber of a conveyor grain dryer when burning gaseous and liquid fuel.
[0002] It is crucial that the fuel completely burns in the combustion chamber of the grain dryer. Incomplete combustion not only increases fuel consumption but also increases the risk of fire, leaving the product smelling of smoke and fuel. Experience shows that owners of conveyor grain dryers face difficulties in properly adjusting the burners mounted in the combustion chambers, as they must consider a variety of factors. For example, they must consider burner power, combustion chamber diameter, ambient temperature, fuel quality, and even air humidity, which is not always possible. Therefore, burners typically operate at a lower capacity, limiting their performance to positive ambient temperatures. Operating at full capacity increases the risk of fire and degrades the quality of the dried product, as it will smell of smoke and fuel.
