Description

[0001] The proposed invention "12-volt linear actuator" relates to swing mechanism drives.

[0002] The closest analogue in terms of overall characteristics is No. 2754751, author and applicant SODERQUIST, Sven-Gunnar (SE), patent holder ASSA ABLOY ENTRANS SYSTEMS AB (SE). Sven-Gunnar's invention has an advantage over all inventions of known swing door drives, it is designed for automatic opening and closing of the door leaf by means of user interaction with the door controller, as well as an automatic opener, which is located together with the electric motor above the door leaf, which is a disadvantage and limits the consumer in the choice of places for installing the invention, it is also worth considering the complexity of installing the invention itself, which requires the installation of a door controller.

[0003] The invention of Frolov S.G. is free from these drawbacks, thanks to the compact design of the invention and the principle of its operation, installation can be carried out at any level of the door height, regardless of the door leaf, and installation can also be carried out on door leaves of gates, the invention of Frolov S.G. can be applied not only to doors and gate leaves, but also to hatches of yacht motor covers, the consumer can install the claimed invention in any position based on his needs, which is simply impossible for the invention of Sven-Gunnar.

[0004] The invention relates to drives for swing mechanisms, which is a ready-made system with an integrated DC motor.

[0005] The essence of the claimed invention “12-volt linear actuator” is to provide the consumer with automatic opening and closing of non-automatic doors and gate leaves.

[0006] The technical result is achieved by a 12-volt linear actuator, consisting of a drive rod (12) that does not rotate, but moves linearly. The gear motor (3), which is fixed inside the housing with bolts through five-millimeter holes, is powered through a wire (19) entering the drive housing (2) through a seal (20) from a 12-volt DC source and is designed to perform linear translational movements: lifting and lowering, opening and closing, pushing and retracting, extracting and inserting. The operating principle of the linear drive (21) is that when the gear motor rotates at a speed of 200 to 1500 rpm in one direction or the other, energy is transferred from the gear motor (3) through a connection in the form of electric welding to the damper coupling (5, 6), which in turn is connected to the traction stud (10) also by electric welding, and thus the movement of the traction nut (11) forward or backward along the traction stud (10) is carried out. The traction nut (11) is connected to the drive rod (12) of the pipe by electric welding. Thereby, it is possible to actuate the structure connected to it up to the nut of the stud (14). The gear motor (3) is located in a polyurethane casing with the use of an adhesive, this casing serves as a silent block of the motor (4), thus ensuring a low vibration level during operation of the gear motor (3). Plain bearings (7.9) reduce wear on the traction stud (10).The seal (15) and polyacetal bushing (13) provide protection of the drive housing (2) contents from the external environment. The thrust washer (8), located between two plain bearings (7, 9) and screwed onto the groove of the traction stud (10) and fastened with three bolts to the tubular housing (2) through five-millimeter rounded holes, additionally strengthens the drive housing (2). The contents of the drive housing (2) and the drive rod (12) at the end of the housings are concealed by welded washers (17, 18).

[0007] Scope of application: swing gates weighing from 30 to 500 kg; driving rotary structures with direct force from 50 kg to 230 kg; driving slide gates and other dampers in different thermal conditions from -30 to +70 °C; in opening hatch covers and hoods of yachts, boats, motor homes; in adjusting the angle of outboard motors weighing up to 300 kg; opening / closing bolts in industrial, industrial, agricultural premises.

[0008] One of the main application options can be the automation of previously non-automatic doors and gate leaves in rural areas in open spaces, since all parts are located inside the housing and are reliably protected from precipitation by a seal (15) with a polyacetal bushing (13), also the connection of parts using electric welding and the presence of a support washer (17, 18) increases reliability and strengthens the design of the drive (21).

[0009] The versatility of the linear actuator is reflected in the ability to install it vertically, horizontally, and in other positions, depending on its intended use. The primary installation criterion is coaxial alignment with the motion vector of the component to which it is attached. The actuator (21) is secured via silent blocks (1) located at the edges using detachable connections at the mounting points. It is also possible to mount the actuator (21) to the main body (2) using clamp connections. The device also includes loop plugs (16).
