Description

[0001] The invention relates to devices for installing metal masts of railway traffic lights.

[0002] The height of the entry, exit, route, and through traffic lights is 8 meters, while the height of the shunting traffic light is 6 meters. Various types of crane installations are commonly used for installing traffic light masts.

[0003] The disadvantages of installing traffic signal masts using mechanized cranes include the requirement to provide process "windows," disconnecting the overhead contact system and other longitudinal power lines, and, in confined areas, the presence of a handcar with a crane installation, as per process flow chart No. KTP TsSh 0235-2015. All of this presents certain challenges under current train traffic conditions.

[0004] The technical result of the claimed device is the elimination of non-production losses during the period of waiting for the provision of the planned (according to the Air Defense AS) time for the performance of work, as well as the cost of resources, in terms of the use of crane equipment, or a trolley and personnel operating the crane equipment, as well as personnel for disconnecting the contact network and longitudinal power lines.

[0005] The essence of the invention is explained by the figures, in which Fig. 1 shows a structure consisting of two fixing corners 1 (made from typical corners of a switch fittings), pulled together by two studs 3, with fixation between the corners of two pipes 2 with a length of 410 mm, one of which is fixed to a metal ladder 5 by a welded joint, while two supporting clamps (lower 4 and upper 6) are fixed to the metal ladder. The length of the metal ladder is 4200 mm (made from a typical attached traffic light ladder). In Fig. 3 it is visible that a fastening for fixing a sling used for lifting the traffic light mast is additionally welded to the upper clamp (a typical clamp of a mast metal traffic light), fixed to the metal mast by a welded joint.

[0006] The metal mast installation device works as follows.

[0007] One half of the traffic light cup (without the internal projection) is secured to the standard foundation studs with standard nuts. Fixing corners 1 are pre-placed underneath the half of the traffic light cup. The fixing corners are tightened together with tie rods 3, with the pipe 2 pre-installed on the rear side of the foundation base and the pipe 2 connected to the ladder on the front side of the foundation base. A metal mast, pre-equipped with traffic light heads and the second half of the traffic light cup, is secured to the ladder 5 using support clamps 4 and 6. A sling is secured to the upper support clamp 6 via fastener 7. The mast is then raised onto the foundation base using the sling and the hinged connection of the pipe with the ladder and the tie rod.Once the lift is complete (the second half of the traffic light housing is seated in the corresponding foundation studs), the second half of the traffic light housing is secured with standard stud nuts, and the two halves of the traffic light housing are tightened together with standard studs. After this, the ladder is released from the mast by removing the support clamps and is also released from the fixing brackets by removing the tightening studs 3. After the ladder is removed, the fixing brackets 1 are removed from under the traffic light housing by partially loosening the nuts on the foundation studs.

[0008] The applicant has manufactured a prototype of a device for installing metal masts, which has passed testing at the Chita territorial administration of the Trans-Baikal Railway, confirming all the declared advantages of the device (see Figs. 1, 2, 3).
