Abstract

FIELD: medicine; urology.SUBSTANCE: used in the treatment of post-radiation cystitis. The method involves intravesical instillation of hyaluronic acid. A three-way 22 Ch catheter is installed, the bladder is washed with sterile saline solution and then instillations are performed for 14 days every 4 hours, starting from 8.00 to 0.00 for 60–90 minutes. The first instillation is made with 50 ml of 0.2% hyaluronic acid, the second – 50 ml of 0.5% chondroitin sulfate, the third - 50 ml of 0.2% hyaluronic acid, the fourth – 50 ml of a combined solution of 0.2% hyaluronic acid and 0.5% chondroitin sulfate, the fifth – 50 ml of 0.2% hyaluronic acid.
