FIELD: thermal power engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat generating devices using solid or gaseous fuel, used for heating air and generating steam in private and public bathhouses. A bathhouse stove comprises a metal casing with a firebox, an ash pit, a grate, a chimney and a heater, made in the form of a metal container isolated from the firebox, separated from the top and three side walls of the casing by flue channels and filled with a heat-accumulating material, equipped with a water supply system to the heater and a loading door. In the upper part of the heater, with an air gap relative to its upper wall, forming a steam heating channel, a flue cavity is made, communicating with the flue channels bounded by the side walls of the heater. The chimney passes through the upper walls of the stove casing and the heater and is fixed to them and the upper wall of the flue cavity. One side wall of the flue cavity adjoins the wall of the heater, and the opposite wall is located with an air gap relative to the wall of the heater. In the steam heating channel, an opening is made in the wall of the heater, to which a steam outlet pipe is connected. The loading door of the heater is sealed.
