Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to mechanical minesweeping equipment. It can be used to prevent small-sized floating craft from being detonated by contact, pole-type, and anti-landing mines of the PDM type (PDM-1M, PDM-2) deployed in shallow water.
[0002] Contact trawls are known (Kondratovich A.A., Piyanzov G.G. Anti-mine weapons. Moscow: Voenizdat, 1989, pp. 10-19).
[0003] The disadvantages of contact trawls are the need to tow them by specialized minesweeper ships, the impossibility of using them in shallow water, in narrow channels and directly ahead of the supported floating craft.
[0004] The technical objective of this invention is to ensure the early destruction of mines of the PDM type ahead of the course, at a distance safe for the floating craft, without the need to involve specialized minesweepers.
[0005] The stated task is achieved by the fact that a self-propelled platform moves ahead of the supported floating craft at a safe distance, which, with its mine sweeping part, mechanically acts on the contact fuse of the mine and causes its detonation.
[0006] Fig. 1, 2, 3 shows the assembly diagram of the self-propelled minesweeping platform STP consisting of: two (left and right sides) small-sized floats 1, a beam 2, two electric motors 3, two control handles 4, two control wires 5, a minesweeping part 6, two connecting cables 7.
[0007] Floats 1 on the left and right sides, to increase explosion resistance (unsinkability), must be filled with polyurethane foam and rigidly connected to each other by beam 2.
[0008] The length of beam 2 determines the width of the trawling zone, which should be 2-3 meters larger than the width of the hull of the provided floating craft 9.
[0009] The STP is kept ahead of the supported floating craft 9 at a safe distance using connecting cables 7. The safe distance must be greater than the affected area of the supported floating craft on mines of the PDM type 8. By changing the length of the right or left cable 7, an emergency change in the direction of movement of the STP can be carried out.
[0010] Electric motors 3 must be rigidly mounted at the stern, in the centerline of floats 1, and their control handles 4 for the direction and speed of engine rotation must be located on the supported floating craft 9 and connected via cables 5. The cable length must ensure control of electric motors 3 from the supported floating craft 9 at a safe distance. The speed and direction of the STP movement are controlled by varying the speed and direction of rotation of the propellers of electric motors 3.
[0011] The trawling part 6 is installed and submerged between the floats 1. The length of the trawling part must ensure that it is submerged to a depth not less than the draft of the floating craft 9 being supported.
[0012] The facts confirming the possibility of implementing the invention are that it is proposed to use ready-made, widely used civilian products as component parts that do not require special development.
[0013] As an option, the STP can be equipped with:
[0014] as floats - single-seater aluminum (or rubber inflatable) boats, Fig. 4;
[0015] as engines - outboard electric boat motors, Fig. 5;
[0016] as a beam - a truss for the stage, Fig. 6;
[0017] as a trawling part - with a steel cable or steel chain, Fig. 7;
[0018] as connecting cables - automotive polypropylene towing cables, Fig. 8.
